Cursed And Love's

Cursed And Love's
21: Staying together

Several police cars were parked in the far eastern part of the city, the forest police who were patrolling again found the carcass for the umpteenth time. But this time it was different. What they found was not the carcass of animals like deer or the like, but the carcass of a human body piece.

Perhaps that part of the body was more fittingly called a corpse, but it was shaped in several separate pieces. Body parts are found in different locations although the distance is not far. The body is like being torn into pieces to become several parts.

However, strangely there was no trace of blood at all there. The piece of body seemed to have no blood in a single drop, only a large piece of flesh that was pale and blue.

"How is this, Lieutenant? How long are we gonna cover it?" A police officer who looked very young approached his superior with a face of dismay.

The Lieutenant simply fell silent as he observed the body bag in front of him, "yes, it's best not to leak to the public if we haven't found the mastermind of the matter." Rigorously.

"Don't you have to go back today?" Serena stared confusedly at Louis who was sitting leisurely watching TV.

"I'll stay here." Without turning his eyes to Serena, his eyes focused on watching his favorite cartoon show.

Serena pinched Louis' arm and made the man complain of pain, now her attention turned to Serena who was looking at him with a sharp look.

"Uhh.., I've submitted my resignation and will move here, so let me stay here," the grimacing and misgivings-minded Great-grandchild with Serena's deadly gaze.

"What's? Are you crazy? What about your mother?" Reply Serena did not believe.

Louis scratched his non-itchy head, the man looked clumsy and did not dare to look at Serena.

"She doesn't matter, after all I've applied for a job at some place here" replied Louis as if.

Serena stared at the man up and down, not understanding why Louis suddenly wanted to stay there until he quit his job. The man worked as a secretary in a large library in another city, but he may now choose to stop and move to the small town where they are now.

"Well, that's none of my business, anyway. Are you going back to the old house"

"I'm coming here." Cut Louis.

Serena frowned confused, "what's up?".

Louis got up from his seat and immediately took Serena's hand, the man kneeling in a pleading position.

"Let me stay here, I'll pay the rent, okay?" The successful Tukas Louis stunned Serena.

Serena immediately pulled out her hand that was being held by Louis, the girl took a few steps back from Louis who was still kneeling with a clear face.

"Why do you live here, your old house is still there?" Said Serena who was immediately replied with an annoyed look from Louis.

The man was now sitting on the floor languidly, "don't want to, I don't want to live in that creepy old house alone!" Mumbled annoyed.

Serena snorted and approached Louis and pulled him over to get the man up. But instead of getting up, Louis now lay down and continued whining like a child.

"I want to be here, Serena. That wild dog you let stay as you please, why don't I?!" Louis protested with a face full of disbelief.

Serena squinted her eyes, now she began to understand why Louis suddenly decided to return to live in this city.

"Louis, don't tell me you quit your job and want to stay here because of Van?" Serena asked with a probing look.

"I'm tired of working there, and about that stray dog, yeah.., you know I'm worried about you, right?" Louis said in a annoyed tone.

Serena smiled sweetly, Louis who saw that immediately stood up with sparkling eyes.

"Take it"

"Couple your things and leave after breakfast, I'll help clean the house." Firm Serena.

Louis stared, his wide smile that had been carved beautifully now immediately faded. The man gawked while staring in disbelief at Serena who passed away leaving her for the kitchen.

Meanwhile, Van's voice was talking to Serena from the kitchen. Louis immediately went after them.

"Flower, I also want to cook," said Van who was watching Serena cut vegetables.

"Help me, slowly you will get used to it and be able to do it" Serena said slowly, her hands agilely cutting vegetables quickly.

Louis emerged from the doorway, the man's face was crumpled and there was no spirit of life.

Serena turned to him for a moment, "have you packed?".

Louis walked closer with a flat face, the two men clenched their hands until the veins became more prominent.

"Serena," Louis stopped right next to Serena who was focusing on cutting vegetables, "i don't want to go!" Whimpering.

Louis held Serena in his hand, he was really whining while writhing in her hand.

"You're why the hell?" Serena rolled her eyeballs as she looked at Louis who was staring at her with eyes as clear as a puppy.

"Wild dog can stay here, why can't I?! Do you care more about him than I do? Come, Serena. Let me stay here, will you?" Now that he no longer cared, Louis really whined like a child, even the man did not care about Van who had seen him with a confused look.

"Rul-"

"I'm forcing!" Cut Louis, "let me stay here, you think I believe left you with that stray dog? If you refuse, I'll report"

"All right!" Serena was tired of her best friend, "on one condition, don't start a fight with Van." Rigorously.

Louis remained stubborn however, and Serena let him live there as well.

"Well, that's true" Louis smiled triumphantly.

The man glanced briefly at Van with a cold gaze that was reciprocated with the same thing by Van, but Serena who realized it immediately pinched Louis somehow for the number of times.

"I just said it...." Annoyed Serena.

Louis chuckled softly, now he sat down on the chair and supported his face with both hands on the dining table.

"How much rent do I have to pay?" Asked the man with a bright face.
