Cursed And Love's

Cursed And Love's
29: Flower park

It was late afternoon, Serena tidied up her shop after finishing the customer's flower bouquet order. Today was more tiring than he expected, his body really felt sore here and there.

She was almost relieved, but the girl snorted as she recalled that the supply of groceries in her refrigerator was running out and she had to buy it tonight.

"It's very troubling...." Murmuring tired, he walked over to his room to get ready and left immediately.

After getting dressed, Serena left. Before that he had time to go find Van to tell the man if he wanted to leave for a while and told him to be careful.

Just as he opened the front door, Louis's car was seen entering the courtyard area of his house, the man had returned from his workplace.

"Where are you going?" Ask Louis who got out of his car.

"Shopping, some groceries are up." Serena answered briefly, walking down a small staircase and stopping in front of Louis. "Why come home so early? You said your job would be done at 8pm." Serena frowned in wonder at the man.

Louis just smiled, "because I miss you, hehe." The reply was nosy while raising his eyebrows.

Serena rolled her eyeballs, she had no interest in responding to Louis' never-ending prank. "I'm going-"

"I'm coming along." Cut off Louis, he pulls Serena down to the other side of his car and opens the door for the girl. "I also need to buy some things, lazy if I have to take my things left in my mother's place."

The car engine was turned on, Louis drove his car along with Serena.

Serena was busy choosing meat and other cooking ingredients, while Louis was no longer seen because he was busy looking for the items he needed. The girl was done, it didn't take long as she just bought groceries.

"No mustard?" Serena asked as she placed her shopping basket on the cashier's table.

"It's over, the new stock will come tomorrow morning." The skinny man with blond hair, he was busy counting the items that Serena bought.

"Where's Harry?" Serena looked around her and did not find Harry's whereabouts, today the one on guard is someone else who might be working for the old man.

"In the office." As the man of the shopkeeper, he handed Serena's shopping bag.

Serena nodded, but she planned to ask Harry something. "Why is that kid taking so long, anyway?" He muttered while looking around for Louis' whereabouts, but he did not find it and preferred to wait in the car alone.

"They did cover it up on purpose from all of us, just think about it, how can the city be this tight just because of the problem of wild bears suddenly wandering in this area,"

"I was suspicious from the start, too, that the police were hiding it all from us,"

"Indeed, my sister who works there said that recently they often found human corpses torn apart, but police told him not to leak into the media and said it was an animal carcass,"

"uh? How horrible! What monster did that, anyway? I'm so scared."

Serena heard clearly the conversation of two middle-aged women who were sitting in front of the store, she frowned after hearing the words of one of the women just now.

A monster?

I don't know why he remembered one name, Van. He also did not understand why the name of the man suddenly appeared in his head.

Serena flinched as she unintentionally looked at her palm. Yes, the wound there has disappeared completely. Not even a trace at all, the pain was gone as well.

Serena immediately got out of the car and went back inside the store, quickly walking towards Harry's workspace and knocking on the door hesitantly. "Harri! Can I come in?" Say Serena loudly.

A ceklekkk!

The girl jumped in shock as the door suddenly opened, with a smoking Harry standing in the doorway with his temple in his twitch.

"What's wrong? Is the new kid getting spiked again?" Harry prepares to get out but is held by Serena.

"T-no! I just wanted to ask you something" Sergey Serena.

Harry stared at the girl, "about what?".

"That's.., about fairy tales... Or a legend, ah anyway it is!" Yells bumbling.

Harry frowned for a while as he did not understand what Serena was talking about, but only for a moment, his face turned flat once he understood where the girl was going. Harry did not answer, but went back into his study.

"Hey, you haven't answered me!" Serena followed Harry inside.

The man looks busy ransacking his bookshelf, he is busy looking for something.

"What are you doing, anyway? Instead of answering me, you're instead-"

Serena's words came to a halt, Harry suddenly thrusting a thick book at her. "Eh, this is it...." Serena recognized the book. Yes, it was a thick fairy tale book with a deep red cover that Harry had once carried.

"Go and read it, I'm not feeling well." Harry said as he pushed Serena away towards the door with his wooden stick.

"Why give me this book? I don't have time to read children's fairy tales, just answer"

"The answer to your question was in that book" Harry said, "and it's not a fairy tale".

Blamm!

The door closed, leaving Serena pecking in front of it. "What?!" His frowns confused.

"Why not wait for me to pay? I should've paid for all that" Louis said as he drove his car, they were on their way home.

"Why should I wait for you, I can pay for it myself, anyway" Serena said, "after all, you've been a long time." The girl stared flat at the beautiful scenery all the way from the car window.

Louis nodded, and the man stopped his car. He pulled over near a large flower garden deliberately made for the public.

"Why stop here?" Serena asked in surprise, "I'll have to cook dinner soon, you and the boy will be sprawled"

"A moment," Louis interrupted Serena's remark, the man got out of his car and also immediately opened the door for the girl. "I haven't been here in a long time, can't we relax for a while today?" Louis reached out his hand, leading Serena to get out of the car.

"Do you still like this place?" Serena sat on one of the park chairs, in front of them there was a large lake with clear water.

"Hahhhh~ I miss this place," Louis stretched his tired body, "and everything here." His eyes glanced at Serena, the girl sat quietly while closing her eyes. "Tuh, right. You enjoyed it too."

Serena did not budge, she still closed her eyes. The girl did like to sit quietly up her face while closing her eyes, feeling the breeze around her.

"Louis," Call Serena.

"Yes? Why?" Louis said he had been looking at Serena's face.

"Do you believe in werewolves?"
