"Let's have dinner together" Aunt broke the silence.
Mas Dimas and Sarah are still standing at the door like they're really surprised I don't know why but I feel guilty but it's not my fault. I didn't ask Auntie to come or say anything that I didn't tell the truth a I don't know how Auntie could know. They won't blame me, will they? I was so scared of this new atmosphere.
Mas Dimas and Sarah walk to the dining table
I can only be silent and do nothing. I better listen to what happens next.
Mas Dimas looks silent I can not interpret his expression after a moment of silence Mas Dimas then look at Aunt seemed to wait for Aunt to speak.
"It's good we eat first, so we have more energy talking about it later"
We finally decided to have dinner first the silence was created at the dinner table. Sarah was beside Mas Dimas she also only kept silent occasionally glancing at Auntie. I didn't actually expect this atmosphere I felt a little guilty I shouldn't have gone out that day all this atmosphere wouldn't have been created. I feel a little bit of a need to blame myself, it was me
everyone only knows Sarah is the wife of Mas Dimas dare I get out of this house. Don't know what people think of seeing me in and out of this house, the house of a married man. People might think of me as a relationship wrecker I should keep quiet.
After dinner, Bibi invited us to talk in the living room, Auntie walked in, followed by Kak Aliya behind her, Bibi saw me speechless at the dinner table and then held my hand gently and asked me to walk with her. Sarah was seen clasping Mas Dimas' hands I can't explain her expression she looked a little sad I felt guilty to her.
We were in the middle room where Aunt looked at Mas Dimas sadly her eyes turned red her lips quivered and then she shed tears.
I felt sad to see Bibi cry, Kak Aliya held the hand of Aunt who had wrinkled Aunt then wiped her tears.
"Auntie doesn't believe the niece that Aunt raised as a child would be an unfair man after big Aunt didn't think the child that Auntie loved so much would be this unfair" Aunty said sadly.
"If Aliya doesn't tell Auntie what's Ajeng's fate? You guys just got married and you've combined them and not told anyone? Do you want to torture him? Aunty never educated Auntie's child to be unfair like this, Ajeng was very young. You shouldn't have agreed to your arranged marriage if you knew it was going to be like this" Aunt's words made me sick to my chest I began to lose my strength and shed tears.
I immediately bow my head if Mother and Father do not force me to accept this matchmaking I will not need to be a barrier to the relationship of Mas Dimas and Sarah I can marry the man I love. Will Mother and Father regret marrying his daughter to a man who did not look at her at all? Will they be sad and hug him for feeling guilty later? Akuq became angry at a fate that seemed unfair to me. This marriage shouldn't have to happen and I don't need to be third.
"Now what is your decision Dimas? Aunty wants you to be fair, Aunty doesn't want Bibi's son to commit a major sin for not being fair to one of his wives. What decision are you gonna make?"
"I don't know Bi" Mas Dimas replied while holding Sarah's hand.
"What do you want my son?" Aunty asked me gently looking at me sad I don't know if I feel I don't have the right to make a decision here I can just be quiet not answering Aunt's question.
~Author POV~
Aunty asked Ajeng and was only told to be quiet by him. Ajeng lowered his head everyone stared at him as well as Dimas he stared at Ajeng with an indecipherable gaze.
you have to remember that, you are more entitled than anyone" Aunt said so that makes Sarah feel insinuated she was jealous instantly with the title Ajeng had when she did not get it.
"A I don't know Bi" Ajeng replied softly to a bitter sound that a moment later suddenly shed his tears, Ajeng cried as much as he tried to hold back his crying voice.
Aunty looked at him with a sad and regretful look Aunt stood up from her seat and went to hug her daughter-in-law.
Dimas looked at Ajeng not knowing what he was thinking.
"Auntie will decide" Aunt finally tries to be a judge for her nephew's household justice after seeing her niece who seems to not know or may not be willing to give a decision.
"Dimas, um, from today you will sleep with Ajeng sleep two weeks alternately with your two wives Aunty does not want any injustice in this house Aunty will stay here for two months to make sure if you are rightright has been being fair" Aunt stared at Dimas sharply.
"Good Bi" Dimas replied resignedly after not knowing what to answer to hear the decision his aunt made while holding Sarah's hand.
Dimas looked at Sarah like he wanted to ask for permission
which was clearly seen by my aunt.
"It's a common decision no one has more right or you don't have to ask one wife for permission to do something with the other wife Aunty hopes you understand her and don't choose love" Sarah looks shocked to hear in her heart she does not want to share Dimas with anyone because she knows that Dimas does not love Ajeng at all as well as Ajeng.
"Go to sleep" Aunty said to Ajeng and only getting a pleading gaze from the hooded woman, Ajeng showed an expression like begging not to have to do what should be done.
"Go son, you must get justice, he is also your husband, Do you want to sleep in bed alone for good? Do you want to be alone while they show their happiness in front of you? You have to act from now on, son, if you let it go, it's going to keep happening" Auntie said reassuring Ajeng.
Dimas went first to Ajeng's room. He looked around first he saw the curtains that were open and let him then went towards the bed and dropped his body.
~Ajeng POV~
I didn't dare go to the room but I had to stay asleep. For three minutes I stood in front of the door I did not dare to open it. Mas Dimas was already in my room he left first.
I can't just be quiet. In the end I opened the door of the room and entered I saw Mas Dimas who was sleeping in the bed I ventured to follow.
