Amaras
After Alby came out of the apartment, I decided to make a warm drink first while waiting for the dawn which might not be too audible from my floor.
But I've set the dawn time that I usually do half-five.
After my drink was ready, I rushed to take a bath and set up my two raka'at obligations. Long enough I sat facing the power. Only in whose power I ask for help. Although it may be through someone else's intermediary.
After I finished my degree, I went back to the kitchen to get my drink. After that, I brought it to the front of the living room.
Turn on the television that contains foreign news. There was a news that caught my attention.
A private laboratory fire that broke out in London. The laboratory belongs to one of the genius doctors who is not currently in the country.
I remember Frans getting a call last night out of nowhere saying something about a fire. Is this fire what I mean???
From the explanation of the news presenter, the laboratory was used for research by the owner of the lab and some experts who are still in his power.
After the fire, there are still remnants of debris and some items that are detected if it is a result of discoveries about substances that can damage the work system of the heart and nerves at once. And it is deadly if it reacts to the human body.
I was quite surprised by the news. Why is my brain pointing at Frans????
The Ting.tong....
The apartment bell rings. But who's visiting at six in the morning like this???
I don't want to peek out of the doorviewer. But there was no one who pressed the bell. I finally opened the door.
After I opened it, Frans went straight into my unit.
I was almost pushed by his sturdy body. Lucky I've been tidy with my work suit.
"Would you like this early in the morning Frans?", I asked.
Frans dropped his body weight on the sofa. He turned off the television I was watching. Suddenly I remembered the news.
Frans looked at me with horror.
"Alby from here?", he asked. I didn't answer right away. For a few seconds, Frans pulled me to sit next to him.
"Answer! Alby from here?"
"Yes! If you know, why ask again?", I said courageously. Although actually I was really scared if the foreign news was telling about Frans' lab in his home country.
Frans smiled faintly. Then gripped my chin like yesterday.
"He touched this?!", Frans asked, rubbing my lips with his finger. But as much as possible fend off his hands so as not to linger on my chin.
I took my phone and I put it in my blazer pocket. Also a small pouch containing cash and some cards of mine.
"We went to the hospital with my mommy and Daddy!" said Frans pulling my hand. I held him back from stopping.
"Waitat? Your parents? What's for?"
"of course! I want them to get to know my future wife's family!", she said, drawing my forced hand.
We both got out of my unit along with Frans' parents. Mommy Frans smiled kindly at me. I don't want to act like that either.
"Morning girls!", so mommy Frans.
"Good morning Tan!", my clothes back.
"Frans says, your papi is in the hospital. Can we go see him?", asked Mommy Frans. I haven't answered, Frans interrupted.
"No need to ask Mom. Sure you can. They will be our family!", Frans.
I can only smile and nod slowly.
"Let's go baby, we're going to the hospital!", Frans grabbed my waist. It has really become a hobby for Frans.
"I.sama Aunty!", I said as I took Frans' hand off my waist. Frans let him.
I walked with Mommy Frans in front of Frans and his Daddy.
"What is Amara sick?" asked Mommy Frans.
"Aunty Heart. Never before. Only now has he had a heart attack. Even after a few days, he just woke up yesterday!", I said.
I saw Mommy Frans' face change. Like someone who was surprised.
"Eum...hopefully you get well soon Amara?", said Frans sincere mommy.
"Aamiinu. Thanks Auntie!", I said. We also arrived at the basement. The four of us got in Frans' car. I don't know how long I haven't driven my own car.
Mommy Frans is sitting in the back with me. He's holding my hand.
"When do you have time to talk to Auntie?" said Frans, whispering slightly. I knit both my eyebrows.
"Eum... Maybe it's Tan's night!", I replied. Mommy Frans nodded. Then pat my shoulder gently with a smile.
On the way to the hospital, I only heard a conversation between his Daddy and Frans discussing his company in London. They don't talk about fires.
What...me who is too over thinking????
