Can I See You Again

Can I See You Again
Will replace?

The palace is busy preparing for Princess Shin's wedding with a young man named Ha Sun, which will be held soon. The Chief Minister of Finance and Taxation smiled broadly as stepping foot in the palace brought the whole haughtiness with it. As the future king, a great pride for him to get the position.

The arrogant move of the Chief Minister of Finance and Taxation raises the malevolent gaze of many people. Of the young men nominated, the king unilaterally chose the only son of the Chief Minister of Finance and Taxation as his son-in-law's candidate. In addition to considering the qualities of the son-in-law, the king also considered the political advantages of it. At that time, marriage with pure nobility with the best rank that has blood relations in the palace really became a benchmark for government success.

“Hai You Pak Head!” shouted one of the ministers to the Chief Minister of Finance and Taxation from a distance.

“You look amazing and excited once!” add them. The Chief Minister of Finance and Taxation smiled proudly, he knew those people were extremely envious of him.

“The palace garbage, want to seek attention apparently,” his inner. The Chief Minister of Finance walks in the middle of the minister alongside the other ministers who support him.

“Tonight, I invite all of you to come to my residence. We're going to celebrate the release of my son's single,” he shouted as if giving a happy announcement. Prime Minister Han who saw the embarrassing moment could only faintly smile.

“Hai Prime Minister Han, aren't you disgusted at his excess behavior?” whispered one of the ministers to him. The Prime Minister just kept nodding his head, slowly trying not to laugh at all. “Seeing many people gossiping about him, seems to make him so happy,” Prime Minister Han replied. Soon after, the prime minister walked out of the meeting hall to immediately step away. However, the arrogance that was inside the room stopped his steps.

“Hei Prime Minister Han! How does it feel when your daughter is not chosen to be the Crown Prince's wife? Is that sad? I don't know what it's like, but I do understand how you feel right now,” cried the Chief Minister of Finance and Taxation as if mocked.

Prime Minister Han, who was almost free from there, turned around and turned his body back. With a slight smile, Prime Minister Han lowered his head which nodded slowly. He crossed both hands behind his body, and stepped cautiously slightly closer.

At that moment, all the ministers immediately turned to him. The arrogant words of the Chief Minister of Finance and Taxation were truly shocking to them. ”Congratulations to your son, Ha Sun,” Prime Minister Han replied with a friendly smile.

He took one step forward after that. “Actually at the moment, you feel happy or vice versa? Dear Chief Minister of Finance and Taxation, so deep is your misery of not having a daughter?”

Prime Minister Han's spontaneous answer made everyone stare in disbelief. Thinking about the bad possibilities that might happen, seeing the two ministers fighting each other's arguments created a terrible air in the meeting hall.

The Chief Minister of Finance and Taxation fixed his standing position, narrowing his eyes, fixedly staring at Prime Minister Han who was then standing quite far away from him. “What do you mean?” ask the Chief Minister of Finance.

“I completely understand how disappointed you are because you do not have a daughter to be nominated to be the wife of the Crown Prince. I have one son, who the king immediately appointed as a teacher in this palace. I have a daughter, who is little informed, my daughter Han Ji-Eun is in the top three candidates. Although not selected, is not it very proud?” Prime Minister Han turned his head to all sides, staring at the ministers who were looking at him. Seeing him, the Prime Minister's smile became wider than usual.

“I'm so sorry to all of you. So busy to see me fall, you don't know, that the daughter of the late country counselor you hate was chosen to be the future queen of this country. Isn't that very surprising?” prime Minister Han's casual reply created a long gloom between them. The storm market turned quiet and silent, they could only fall silent with their hearts cursing incessantly.

“Then, until you meet again at the residence of the Chief Minister of Finance and Taxation.” Prime Minister Han immediately rushed over from the dark, hate-filled room, leaving people greedy for power and popularity.

The secretary of state was there, silent and rigidly trying to examine everything he had heard. This palace is not what people think it is. In the palace, the occupants were just greedy people vying to create new suffering. Not as beautiful as the land of fairy tales, in fact, the strongest and slickest will be the victor.

Ara sat in her room with slightly sunken eyes. He woke up in the middle of the night unable to sleep until morning. Leaning his body on the side of the table, while opening page after page a bunch of books on it. There was nothing interesting, other than the loneliness he had felt for a long time. He turned to the window, seeing the sunlight begin to steal the sidelines of his skeleton. “It's starting noon.” He said while pushing the window.

“Ara, go take a shower. Wear this after.” The mother put a beautiful pink dress on the bed. “Why?” ask Ara confused. While tidying up Ara's bed, the mother bent her forehead because she was inexhaustible. He put both his hands on his waist, “Did you forget?” ask the mother. Ara seemed to be unconcerned, she shrugged her shoulders, leaning back those round cheeks on the table.

The mother approached, pulled Ara's hand and pushed her into the bed. “For so many years you just locked yourself in a room, do you want to be a spinster?” with a tone of emphasis, the mother departed in front of her daughter. Ara squeezed, re-shed her body on the bed.

“Until when, do you keep thinking about that dead young man? Life will continue. If he was alive, your father would not allow you to marry him either, the mother slapped his daughter's soul.

With her flat face, Ara sat back down, “I just don't want to go out. Besides, I've made it clear,” Ara replied a little casually turning her back to her mother.

“Then, there is no more reason for you not to come to the horse racing festival held by the palace. Aren't you curious about the face of your future husband?” Her mother's words stunned her. Right, soon he'll be betrothed to one of the princes. In accordance with the agreement of the father who had negotiated with the palace. By force, finally the lazy step was dragged away to shower and dress up.

“FESTIVAL RACECOURSE KUDA”

The notice board that had been attached far away the previous day, made the youths smile happily. Today, the race will finally be held. The talented young noble men were gathered and flocked to the racetrack, where usually the young men met and became acquainted, even began to establish a relationship.

Together with the formidable horses that had been specially cared for by the team of experts, prepared to enter the field with their gallant and talented masters. The girls there glared unable to blink, the beautiful scenery made them cheer incessantly. Looking at the youths for them was as if getting expensive and luxurious gifts. Moreover, this time there was news that the princes would participate, adding to the crowded horse racing field.

The gate creaked quite loudly, the gallant footsteps of the horses galloping, stopping the ravings of the spectators. “Waah..” no other word can describe that admiration.

Ara was already there, sitting among the girls with her mother who had forced her to leave.

“I can't wait to see the princes.”

“Are they not single?”

The sound of gossip or something like that, ringing in Ara's ears who wanted to get up from there immediately. Flashbacks haunt him, recalling a time when he and Youra had come to the palace to peek at the youths, returning the pain that had actually been almost buried with memories. He was already happy in the palace, he thought trying to calm down.

“Prince Yul is the best in horse racing.”

The words of someone who came out of nowhere, made him immediately turn his head. That name, was the name of the man she would soon be betrothed to. With his face and head covered in a silk scarf, it forced him to continue hiding behind it. As a noble girl from a father who had rank and power, Ara indeed had to cover her face to be invisible to anyone. He shifted his seat slightly closer to the mother because he was very disturbed by the noise.

Soon, from afar several palace guards arrived, along with two horses that had been ridden by two handsome young men. Not so clear, the faces were too far to reach by the eyes. Ara was not enthusiastic, despite knowing one of them was the man who was going to be her husband.

The mother, pulled Ara's hand. Grasping it because it's too happy. “Look, my son-in-law is there. Did you see your future husband?” ask the mother with a happy smile. Ara was not struggling, no matter what they looked like, which she obviously wanted to get out of there.

A short time later, there were several horses lined up neatly on the runway racing. The girls were busy running in the opposite direction to watch the faces of the young men.One of the princes came down from the horse, led into the throne that had been prepared.

Some fancy palanquins were brought in across there. Its inhabitants are ushered up to the throne.

“What king and Crown Prince come?”

“Wah, what is queen?” ask them curious.

“What is the Queen of the Crown Prince? He said the Crown Prince's consort was the daughter of a deceased state adviser who was rumored to have died, was that true?”

The girls' questions swayed Ara's entire mind. He tried to drill deeper into the gaze over there. It seems that the king or the Crown Prince will not come, it is impossible considering that the king has affairs of state, and the Crown Prince who is definitely not going to come. There was only a young man sitting next to the queen, behind the thin curtain.

“Prince Hon did not follow this horse race. It seems that he is not too healthy,” the words of the mother as if answering a question that began to be arranged in Ara's head.

The sound of the gong carrying the youths along with the horses advanced slightly to the starting line.

“Waah People get more excited when someone with his horse enters between the rows.

Shortly after that,

“Prepared!”

 “1!”

“2!”

“3!”

“Start!”

The whole horse immediately went from there, running quite fast carrying the dashing and handsome passengers away. Ara was still there watching them, but with a thought that went nowhere. Everyone was shouting, excited, cheering, still in that place, Ara with her mind remained gloomy. He looked everywhere, watching the girls, until the gaze was anchored to the other side of the field, leading to the palace.

“Youra?” he murmured, when looking away from the palace a woman seemed to sneak out with some servants. Ara shook her head, trying to erase the entire ridiculous thought. That's impossible, he thought. A woman who had already entered the palace, it was not an easy thing for her to come back out even to visit her own family.

However, as the thought was trying to get rid of, Ara turned her head back, seeing that there was no one else ahead.

“Waaaahhhhh!”

The cheers of the people spread the thought, immediately he turned to the source of the furore. From the runway racing looks a young man with his horse came closer, as a winner. At the finish line, the young man turned to face the spectators. Yes, now Ara can be seen easily.

“That's it, that. That's Prince Yul, your future husband. She's the winner.” The mother cheered happily.

Ara was silent, stunned in the delicacy. Far away, he saw that face clearly. Prince Yul smiled at the youths who were cheering celebrating his victory. That sweet smile, jolted Ara's long frozen and empty heart. She was not even able to blink, continuing to glare in amazement at her future husband.

The sweat that soaked Prince Yul's hair and forehead added to his stout charm. The girls screamed, hysterically looking at him up close. The mother turned to Ara, realizing her daughter was aghast by the admiration.

“I told you already, you'll like your future husband. There is no point in thinking about a dead man, try to see the future.”

No matter what her mother was saying, a line of smiles had already started sticking out from the corner of her lips. That smile, made her shed tears.

“Will I really be able to forget Young Master Lee Young because of you, Prince Yul?”
