Chapter 61: Adventurer Partner

Ardhi's group managed to sneak and enter the palace, the atmosphere looks lonely but not meaningless without guard.

In this place there are two prisons which is why they divide themselves into two groups, Ardhi, Latifa and Asenola check the prison on the left, for Nisa and Mery the other prison.

Ardhi dropped several guards by hitting the back of their necks and assisted by two colleagues they hid them in the bushes.

"Did they die?" ask Asenola.

"No, I just made them unconscious."

"so."

"Let's move again."

They ran inside the hallway as guards emerged from behind the door, Latifa used Flash magic to blur their view and with a powerful lunge Ardhi dropped them before the others descended into the basement where in it rows of cells lined up neatly.

Only one of the cells is filled.

"Who are you?" before the guard could make a move, the back of Ardhi's sword had dropped him to the floor.

"Mama?"

Asenola immediately grabbed a cell that was at the very end. Latifa followed along with him and it seemed that the queen was just standing there with a blank face as if she was not herself.

Ardhi, who examined the body of the guard he had crushed, obtained a key and opened the cell until Asenola jumped to hug her mother tightly.

The queen's name is Rola Lyndon Agnessia, in other words Asenola also has the same surname.

Latifa casts holy magic and light heals the queen with ease, she is similar to Asenola but in the adult female version in the mid-30s.

"Asenola?"

"Mama."

"Thank God you're safe."

An explosion made the ground shake which signified that they had to flee immediately.

"We need to leave now."

"Then how are Nisa and Mery?" ask Latifa.

"What's wrong, we'll come save them later which is more important the safety of the queen and her daughter."

Ardhi didn't want to do this but, this was the only way for them to survive, they didn't know how many people were in the palace and how they were.

The fact they broke through here was also due solely to reckless capital.

The sun rose and an announcement had been spread to a corner of the city, Ardhi who since this morning sneaked among the people had returned to the inn.

There Latifa, Asenola and the queen seemed to have sad expressions.

"What about them?"

"They're fine, they're declared traitors to the kingdom and will be executed by noon."

"That's impossible? How can a sneak be put to death."

"That's because they're accused of being the queen's killer."

Everyone in the room looked surprised, however the queen was still alive especially being with them.

"They killed the servant and dressed him as queen."

Ardhi's words made the air worse until a bird knocked on the window.The bird was white and it was clearly not a real animal but made of Yumi's magic.

A few moments waiting for them to appear on the roof.

"We came here immediately after knowing the situation, do you need Ardhi's help?" yumi asked, followed by Roy next to her.

"Haha I'm sorry Ardhi-chan, we should have appeared cool but instead like this."

They alternated through the window. Yugo looks faint and is only dragged by a rude Tiffany.

"Who is our opponent? I'm ready to kill them, fight to the death."

As usual Tiffany always said things smelled of violence but Ardhi was more curious about the figure he carried.

"What happened to Yugo?"

"She drank while on duty and Yumi asked me to drag her, she was quite useful for the bait later."

This group was indeed abnormal but they were clearly very reliable.
