Chapter 36: Against Hobgoblin

Ardhi who had bounced back, jumped to slash his sword diagonally, it created a burst of blood into the air.

"Roooaaaagh."

Hobgoblin turned around to attack his presence, of course Nisa also did not stay silent she stabbed her back again unfortunately it still did not feel deadly.

Hobgoblin twisting his body 360 degrees to make both of them thrown at once at the same time, Ardhi will refer to it as Spin.

Mery has returned to battle and is now besieging the same monster.

Ardhi drew another sword and he ended up using a double sword, he could have used his entire sword but he thought of training himself like this, there were some instances where he could not fully rely on the flying sword.

Ardhi gave Nisa an eye code, just as he nodded. Nisa casts a Fire Bolt incantation, as the Hobgoblin concentration breaks Mery steps forward. Since Latifa was already assured of safety she changed her attacking position.

Hobgoblin's body was lashed by a large shield, a loud bang occurred there and Ardhi took a blind spot to attack him.

Again Hobgoblins use spin and again they are thrown. Before they got up Hobgoblin attacked Mery, he showered him with slashes until Ardhi darted at him.

Of course it was a trap, when Ardhi was right in front of him a slash aimed at him, he crossed the sword to hold it and again his sword shattered.

"You must be kidding."

Blood gushed from his mouth as he was flown in with another slash, Mery got up and he did not use his shield but rather the knife in his hand, it slashed Hobgoblin's neck but not deep enough, until he was finally kicked away.

Nisa who had gained a gap using her special technique, she passed through the Hobgoblin's leg to strike her leg paralyzed, as she was about to read out, Nisa avoided it by jumping to the side.

Because of his injured leg he could not use Spin, with one stab he stabbed his heart until it turned into a corpse.

Nisa was sitting down weak from exhaustion.

They used to want to go back to the city, things like this sometimes just happen.

"Ardhi you're fine."

"Good."

The light that was so comfortable Ardhi had sensed now, he started to feel that he could not rely on his weapon anymore. He needed a stronger and sharper sword to carry out missions as dangerous as these.

After Ardhi is healed, it is Nisa's turn and Mery's.

They were completely battered because a single Hobgoblin, if it was two or three, must have been more difficult even Ardhi did not want to imagine what happened after.

They managed to complete the quest but chose not to go straight back to the city but instead stayed inside the cave for the night. They got a lot of bronze coins as well as a large machete to sell later.

At least they didn't end up in vain.

"I really need to take a shower now Nyan, let's get out."

"I think so, I'm full of blood," added Mery and Latifa nodding in confirmation that she was also in the same situation.

"Don't go too far" said Ardhi who was making a simple soup.

"It's not a good time to peek at Ardhi, I wouldn't be like a hypocritical woman who says don't squeak when she wants to be peered at."

"You say something dangerous there? Anyway I'll stay here until the soup is ripe."

"Bas on a weak man."

"You said something?"

"Not really."

Because there is Mery there both will be protected even though there are wild animals.
