After they finished they decided to walk out of the city, Ardhi felt some suspicious movements behind him but he chose not to look too flashy.
"What's Ardhi?"
"We're being followed."
The two spoke without looking back and also whispered. During his life as an adventurer Ardhi had gone through several quests like this and over time he was getting used to it and expertly sensed as he was followed from behind.
"Number is about ten people."
"Then how do we get away from them?"
Ardhi took out one sword and threw it into the streets, everyone watching looked puzzled.
"What's he doing?" just as they were wondering suddenly the sword shot through one head, then it withdrew into the air then attacked one other person and so on.
They started to scatter.
"What the fuck, this isn't magic?"
One person was slashed in the air until his corpse fell on the trash can below him, then the sword continued to move itself in the air killing them except for one person who was being held right inside a deserted alley.
Ardhi and Latifa walked over to meet him while the sword that had been hovering back sheathed itself.
"Ardhi you can control the sword."
"Simple trick."
Ignoring the spirited Latifa Ardhi prefers to introgate this one.
"Hurry up and tell me who told you to go after Latifa."
The man smiled then before long his body convulsed and died just like that.
"He bit the poison that was in his mouth."
"Until the whole thing, obviously the person who asks for it must be someone who has a high position, whoever it is will also be found out."
They decided to hitch a ride on the merchant caravan and left the city, because Latifa was not wearing priest clothes most people could not recognize her with certainty.
"So you want to go to the port of Orleans?" the voice came from the merchant man sitting in front as a coachman.
"Yes, I'm sorry we hitched a ride."
"No problem, we also passed through the area."
To get to the underwater kingdom city they had to go to the port of Orleans, it was enough to take three days although the route itself was not a dangerous route. They passed through grasslands as well as several villages.
"We're not staying in that village?" ask Latifa.
"As traders we can't stop so much in a village we don't know, it would be troublesome if we were robbed or so on, that's why we always choose to stay in the wild while keeping our luggage."
Ardhi thought they were too vigilant even so what they did was not wrong, just in case it was better than acting recklessly and ending up with regret.
Everyone gathered in front of the bonfire while singing some pretty popular songs. Ardhi clapped for anyone who sings.
"Well now, how about you sing?"
"Eh me, I don't."
"Don't worry we'll accompany her with music, please."
"If you force what you can do."
Latifa took a breath for a moment before opening her mouth, every time she sang everyone would follow her with her body movements, her own song told of a valiant hero against the demon lord, even though his partner died he kept fighting and kept trying to protect this world.
At the end of the song the hero died after stabbing the demon lord, and left only a small part of him.
A hope as well as a future that it gives to the living.
Everyone seemed to be sitting with a very sad face. It's a heart touching song especially sung full of passion and melodious voice.
Everyone applauded afterwards.
