BETWEEN THE CEO AND MAFIA 2
Night Events

That night, as usual, Bayu sat leaning against the wall of a room measuring 6 x 6 meters which was inhabited by about twenty people who were still waiting for their case legal process by the court. The thing that could be done was to reflect, to think of the next step that he would take.

Bed mats in the form of thin mattresses, stuffy rooms that if the day is very hot and when the night becomes very cold have become commonplace for him. All the comforts he had felt for a new lifetime he could be grateful when he could not enjoy it anymore. For people who have never gone in there, you should not go in there. Because, living in a prison is really like torture. There's no good.

At night, many mosquitoes roam around and bite. It seems that Bayu is now immune to his bite. He also had to share the room with many people from across ages and professions.

Bayu is still lucky because he comes from a family that is quite capable. There are his men who every day give food and money for their needs during the in the yard. Most of the people who are one room with him come from lower-middle-class economic families. The cases they face are also small cases such as gambling, cattle herding, pickpocketing, and some are even imprisoned for fighting motorcycle scraps until the defender is killed.

The law of the world is like that, nothing is more just than the law of God. Including Bayu, can face punishment that threatens him casually because of the many privileges he has.

If any friends or his men come to bring food, Bayu will share it with his cellmates. Mr. Saddam was already placed in a separate cell with him, somewhere. Bayu also never saw her again. He said the legal process had already begun. However, he who was involved is still in the cell temporarily because the case has not been processed.

"Pak Bayu's.... Who here is Bayu Bagaskara?" one of the prison guards.

There were about five men in police clothes waiting outside the bars. Bayu raised his hand.

"Please come and come with us" said the warden again.

Bayu began to rise from his seat.

"Don't want to, you won't come back. It seems like they are trying to finish you off secretly." whispered one of the inmates who was nearby.

The words were not heard by Bayu. He stood from where he had originally sat.

"We remind you because you've been kind to us. Sometimes there are inmates who don't come back after they've taken them."

"Yes, right. You have to be careful."

Some other men advised him. However, Bayu was not afraid at all of what they said. He continued walking towards the door that had been opened by the warden.

"Give me your hand."

Bayu handed both his hands. The warden placed handcuffs on both wrists. Then, Bayu's head was covered by a black cloth so that he could not see anything.

"Follow us and don't fight a bit." whispered the warden as the black cloth cover was fixed on Bayu's head.

Bayu is like a prisoner who will undergo a hanging. Although there was a bit of worry, he still tried to be relaxed. He believes everything will be fine.

"Gee, how sorry is our boss. Though all this time he was very good." muttered one of the inmates.

"Yes, it looks like tonight he will die." said another prisoner.

"No more people will share good food with us. It looks like he's a rich man."

"The rich are not arrogant. Let him be put in the same cell as the poor like us."

"True, he had plenty of money to buy good food. He should have also bought a special cell whose facilities were as good as a hotel."

"You mean like that cynical Mr. Saddam, huh?"

"Yes, he's a very rich man. A very trivial thing just to get a special cell for him."

"Are you sure he was transferred to a special cell?"

"The rumors I heard are like that."

"It doesn't seem so."

"Where is that father?"

"His case has already begun to be processed, I think he's just transferred cells."

"Special cell for sure.... "

"You can't forget to go to sleep so you can wake up in the morning!" exclaimed the warden while locking back the iron door that he had opened.

"Yes, sir." cried the compact inmates.

Bayu was taken by those people somewhere. Bayu had absolutely no idea of the direction and purpose they were taking him. He could only follow the movements of the two people walking beside him.

Only darkness and silence can be felt. Sounds become apparent when the sense of sight is not functioning. Every time they passed through the iron gate, the voice of the attendant who opened the key was very clearly heard by him. I don't know how many gates he's been through. Maybe they'll take him out of that prison building so long as he thinks he's taken walking.

The people who took him did not say a word either. They stood by him in silence. Only the regular sounding clattering of footsteps compensated for his steps.

"Sir, we've brought the man."

Mayu could only hear the voice that someone had just said.

"Put him in the car."

"Good, sir."

Bayu was guided to ride a vehicle that seemed a bit high. Like going up the back of a truck. Bayu's body is pushed in order to rise to the top. After Bayu climbed to the top, the sound of the vehicle engine was turned on. His body swayed slightly as the vehicle began to run. Bayu still silently followed their will.

The srek!

Finally someone removed the covering cloth from his head. Bayu finds out that he is now on a police truck. Inside, there were seven armed men surrounding him. Two people from the brand Bayu can recognize, namely Bara and his father.

"You must be surprised to be brought here like this" said Bara.

"Wood, greetings. I'm Mr. Inu, Bara's father. In the future we will often meet" said Mr. Inu.

"I'm sure your lawyer has given us all the deal."

"Are you really going to set me free?" Bayu does not beat around. He asked the subject he wanted to know about. If the deal is matched, he will not refuse to cooperate.

"Wood.... "

Before Bara finished his words, Mr. Inu first silenced his mouth. As if he didn't allow Bara to talk.

"Yes, of course."

"Then let this go." Bayu showed the circular handcuffs in his hands. "If you want to cooperate with me, you should believe that I won't run away."

Mr. Inu gestured for his men to release the handcuffs. Suddenly, Bayu's hands felt free.

"Where am I going to take you?"

"We're going to transfer you to a special prison, which is close to my office."

Bayu frowned, "Say I will be released? Why are cells being moved?" his head was filled with bad thoughts.

"Don't get me wrong, it's just a formality. You will be treated in a new place. This is at once to disguise the news so that it is too conspicuous if your case suddenly disappears. At least kamy should not appear in public for some time. But, the condition is, you have to help the police all that time."

"How long?" tanya New curious.

"One year." Bayu must be astonished by the answer from Mr. Inu. One year is a long time. That means he's in jail.

"If your work is significant, I will ease your punishment again, maybe you can occasionally go home. I'm sure you want to meet your wife and son."

If people have mentioned about children and wives, Bayu can no longer deny it. They are his weaknesses.
