After the dinner was over, between the old and the young parted ways. Parents give their children a chance to talk together.
Bayu takes Valerie to the park. Alex and Eki still followed, but were at a considerable distance from them so the conversation between the two could not be heard.
Prita's brain is almost broken thinking of the two people who are being betrothed. She's looking for a decent gift for her husband if they come back later. Perhaps with a divorce letter the only gift that deserves to be given to a beloved husband.
Meanwhile, Bayu and Valerie seemed comfortable talking together. There was no more awkwardness as they chatted, discussing many things. One is about their match.
"So, you're going to still accept this match?" ask Bayu.
"Yes.... Do I have any other choice?" valerie's answer sounded like a desperate man's answer.
"You can try to resist it, right?"
Valerie smiled, "In my family, no one dares to oppose my father."
"I've been close to men a few times. All the same fate. My father made their lives suffer. So, I don't want to make anyone else's life suffer just because I love him."
Valerie looked sad as she recalled the past. He doesn't dare love a man, because it will all end the same.
"To be honest I'm married and have three children."
Bayu's words were able to make Valerie stare intently at him. As if he could not believe it, the man before him was married. The man she was going to marry was married?
"That's even worse" Valerie said.
"Why?"
"You think my father will call off this matchmaking because you're married? You wrong.... "
"My father will force you to divorce your wife. Worse yet he could finish them off."
"Did your father get that far?"
"Yes.... Karen, that's why our father can be friends. I know brands are the same. And our fate is the same. Can't resist this match."
"You better hide the fact that you have a wife and children. I won't open my mouth either."
"Haha.... But I don't want to marry you."
"That's your problem."
"You don't want to help talk to your father?"
"I don't want to get into trouble with him. Besides, he won't listen to me."
Bayu felt desperate to find a way to reject the match without making trouble. Valerie's father turned out to be just as crazy as her father.
"Then, what doesn't your father like?"
"Hm.... Probably humiliation. My dad really doesn't like it when people insult and humiliate him."
"Yes, of course. It matches your father's personality who wants to look perfect in the eyes of others."
Bayu pulled out a bottle of whisky from his suit bag, "Want to drink?" he offered it to Valerie.
"No, thank you."
Bayu gulped the wisky himself until he finished one bottle without remaining.
Valerie chirped, "Are you frustrated? Want to get drunk to escape reality?"
"No, it's just to warm up the body."
"Then, how about we go in now?"
"You sure? Coming in means giving our parents answers about this matchmaking plan."
"Yes, why do you think for so long? We have to keep accepting it, right? The only way to undo this matchmaking is only in their hands, not in our hands. So, actually our opinion doesn't really matter."
Bayu got up from his seat, walked over to where Alex and Prita were. Valerie followed him behind.
Prita had already cast a glance when she realized Bayu was walking towards her. Likewise with Alex, he followed by hating his boss (who read also like he also hates Bayu).
"Daddy, is there anything you want to say?"
In such a situation, Bayu could still ask her like that? It felt like he punched the man so many times.
"No, Young Master." Prita replied with a firm tone like a bodyguard.
"Good, you've remembered my words."
"Stay silent and work well with me."
"Okay, Young Master."
Bayu and Valerie re-entered the restaurant area. Alex and Eki followed behind.
"I think I want to beat him up, Eki."
"Then, after this, we beat him up together."
"Ah.... I don't dare." Alex's guts shrunk.
"Coward."
"Yes.... Do you dare?"
"Dare."
"We prove it later."
"Look at me."
They walked into the hotel lounge area after previously spending time in its restaurant area. The atmosphere there is quite a lot of visitors.
Bayu and Valerie's parents sit in one corner of the area while enjoying a drink.
"Oh, you're back. Come here." Come here." Madam Bela waved her hands towards them.
Valerie running small taking a seat next to her mother. Meanwhile, Bayu sat beside his father. Alex and Prita stand in a corner not far from Bayu.
"How's Valerie, do you feel that you fit in with Bayu?" ask Madam Bela again.
"It's up to Mama Papa. I'll go with Bayu if you agree."
Lady Bela and Mr. Saddam smiled broadly at her daughter's answer.
"What about you, Bayu?"
"I don't have a problem with Valerie either. But, do Mr Saddam and Mrs Bela have no problem with lacking in me?"
Mr. Saddam and Mrs Bela looked at each other.
"What lack?" Mr. Saddam was very curious.
Bayu glanced at his father, it seems that he can already read if Bayu will say a no-no.
"You must have known that my age was no longer young. I'm 37 years old, a very distant age with your daughter."
"Some doesn't matter to me."
"You don't ask, why at this age I don't have a partner yet?"
"It could be because it's busy working, it's natural for men."
"Sorry, sir, can you accept my shortcomings like this?"
Bayu stood up, then walked towards Prita.
Alex and Prita are already worried about what Bayu will do.
"Shut up and cooperate." said Bayu.
Then, he pulls Prita in front of Valerie's parents.
"I can't marry your daughter for liking my own bodyguard."
Bayu immediately melu*mat Prita's lips in front of them. Automatic Prita's eyes immediately rounded with Bayu's sudden treatment.
Alex was astonished to see it, as well as the people who were there. Some even took pictures of the rare moment.
Not for a moment Bayu gives a kiss. Prita gripped Bayu's suit because the man kissed her very aggressively. His tongue brushed his mouth until he had trouble breathing.
Samuel still did not believe in his son's behavior. She kissed the man in front of everyone. He no longer knew where to hide his face.
The same was thought of by Mr. Saddam and Mrs Bela. Maybe he would match his daughter to such a man. That's so embarrassing.
Meanwhile, Valerie smiled broadly at Bayu's behavior. He was amazed that the man dared to kiss another man for the sake of matchmaking annulment. He salutes the courage of Bayu. Finally, he was released from a match that he did not want.
Bayu just let go of his kiss when Prita almost out of breath. He held Prita's hand.
"If you still want to make me a son-in-law, please contact my father."
After saying that, Bayu turned around and took Prita away from there. Along the way, they became the center of attention of other guests. Alex ran after his boss.
"Mr Samuel, I didn't expect you to have such a disgusting son. Consider this matchmaking plan never existed. It's really embarrassing."
"Come, we're going!"
Mr. Saddam took his wife and daughter away from Samuel.
Samuel just sighed. Even though it was just pretend, Samuel did not expect his son to be able to do that. Mr. Saddam's words are true, they are disgusting.
