BETWEEN THE CEO AND MAFIA 2

BETWEEN THE CEO AND MAFIA 2
A Heavy Night

Just like Fredi did, Ben also got a trip to the mansion of his own master, Samuel Bagaskara. Ben is a person who has been memorized by the ins and outs of the place. So, he doesn't need Alex's help to map out where he's going.

Ben took ten men with him, members of Red Wine, Bayu's men who were sent to accompany Ben. Initially Ben intended to refuse, because he alone was enough to carry out the task given. However, Bayu insisted that he still bring the men. Especially Ben's unstable condition.

Ben came to take two car troupes in a relaxed manner. The gatekeeper who recognized Ben allowed him to enter. They're Ben's men.

Upon arrival at the entrance, he is confronted by Luke, his men who are slightly dislike him. He looked at Ben with a hostile look.

"Why did you come here, brother?" tanyakanya.

"Do you mind? Don't I usually go in and out of this house?"

"Looks like Mr. Samuel doesn't like you anymore. So, your presence won't be welcomed by me."

Lukas points his gun at Ben.

Ben just smiled looking at her, "That's just your mind trying to get rid of me. Is there a direct order from Master Samuel to expel me?"

"He even whipped you mercilessly. I'm sure Mr. Samuel will agree with my actions." Luke still points his gun at Ben.

"The one with the gun here isn't just you." Ben pulled out a gun from his suit pocket and pointed it at Luke.

"How dare you obstruct me, the right hand of Master Samuel. If I mention your name in front of him, you think you can survive?"

Ben gave an intimidating look to Luke. As if he wasn't messing with her words.

"I was commissioned by Master Samuel and the Young Master to retrieve some documents and bring them to Mr. Saddam. They're having dinner together right now. Do you want to buy my time?"

"Are you the same as Luke?"

Ben stared at his other men, all of them retreating in order. They feared Ben, especially Samuel.

"If you don't let me in, find the documents yourself and deliver them to Mr. Samuel yourself. I'm going home."

Luke lowered his weapon, "Ben, why is it that people are too stiff. I was just kidding. Haha.... "

"Please, Brother. Just take what you want. I'm sorry."

Ben kept his gun back in his pocket. He gave the code to his men to follow him. The room that Ben went to was, of course, Mr. Samuel's office.

"Good night, Mr. Saddam."

Just as Mr. Saddam and his wife and daughter came out of the lounge area into the hotel lobby area, some plainclothes people stopped their steps.

The bodyguards escorting Mr. Saddam tried to advance, but they immediately retreated back after the person who prevented their move showed their identification. They're cops.

"Sister Bara.... " Valerie was shocked to see Bara there, being one of them.

"How dare you stand in my way!"

Just now Mr. Saddam was made emotional by the Bagaskara family, now there are more police who want to find things with him. They don't think he has any connections in the police force that could protect him.

"Sorry, we're just running errands. Please come with us to the police station."

"If there's any business with me, just call my lawyer."

Mr. Saddam was about to break through the cop, but his hand was blocked.

"You we're under arrest for marijuana hoarding. Please contact your lawyer after this."

Mr. Saddam was shocked by the police's words. Both hands were handcuffed like criminals.

"What the fuck! I don't know anything, hey! I can report back to you all!" Mr. Saddam tried to rebel.

"Take off my husband! What are you doing!" Mr. Saddam's wife went hysterically to see her husband being taken to the police station.

Suddenly the situation in front of the hotel became very crowded. Previously, in the lounge area there was a crazy show by Bayu Bagaskara. Now, it's Mr. Saddam's turn to play the lead.

"Let go! Explain it! Don't take my husband!"

Valerie tried to calm her hysterically screaming mother. The police continued to drag Mr. Saddam into the police car. The bodyguard guard guarding Mr. Saddam could do nothing but just watch his master being taken by the police.

"Valerie, Dad.... Huhuhoo.... "

"Already, Ma. Calm down. Later we call the brothers and also Papa's lawyer. Everything's gonna be okay."

"Mom should go home first, yeah" Valerie said.

"Sir, please take Mama home. You all come home too, take care of Mama. I'll catch up."

Valerie ordered her bodyguards to bring her mother home. Meanwhile, Valerie remained there facing off against Bara. He wanted to ask Bara for an explanation of why his father had to be taken to the police station.

Bara looked at Valerie with the same gaze. Valerie was her underclassman during High School. While in college, they also had a close but not until dating. Bara liked the woman, but Mr. Saddam disliked their closeness.

Mr. Saddam once had his father mutated to a remote place far from the capital because he dared to approach his daughter. He was also threatened that his father's career would be destroyed if he did not want to stay away from Valerie. Finally, he gave up on his feelings.

His father was able to return to duty in the capital thanks to his services to uncover the murder case where he was mutated. His father was a dedicated policeman. Thanks to his earnest work, he was finally able to occupy his current position as Wakapolda.

Bara has not forgotten the treatment of Mr. Saddam. However, he was there tonight not to avenge, but purely to carry out his duties.

Elsewhere, his father had raided a marijuana stockpile in Mr. Saddam's wooden warehouse. So his duty at the hotel was to pick up the owner of the marijuana, namely Mr. Saddam. He never expected to meet Valerie there.

"Sister, can we talk to you for a second?" said Valerie.

Bara nodded.

Valerie took Bara to the parking area, then told him to get in her car.

"How are you, brother?"

"good. You alone?"

"I'm good too."

The two still looked awkward to greet each other. For five years they have not met. In addition to the busyness of each, of course also because of Mr. Saddam.

"I heard Brother is on duty outside the island."

"Yes. I just got home yesterday."

"Is the task done?"

"Yet. There's still three months left."

"Did you come home have anything to do with my father?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Why should my father be arrested?"

He looked towards Valerie. She knew, the woman might not even know anything about her father's work. Valerie's a good boy, despite having such parents.

"I'm afraid you'll be in shock."

Valerie chuckled, "What can my father do until I get shocked? Robbing? Killing people?"

Bara shook his head, "Your father stockpiled two tons of marijuana in his wood factory warehouse."

Valerie straightened her eyes. He stared at Bara without blinking. It felt like what he had just heard was an impossible thing.

"My father couldn't have been like that."

"I know this is hard to believe."

"If you want to help your father, just prepare a lawyer. We'll meet back in court."

"I'll go first, yeah. I have to get back to the police station."

"Sister.... "

Valerie's voice uncovers Bara's intention to open the car door. Bara sat back in his place, looking at Valerie whose eyes began to glaze over. He wanted to comfort the woman, but he did not know what he had to do to comfort her. He could not help freeing his father because what he had done included a major crime.

"Did Brother Bara do this out of spite for my papa? If so, please forgive my father, yes.... " Valerie said that while crying.

"I know my papa has been very mean to Brother. I'm sorry." Valerie's sobbing sound grew louder.

The powerless force held back. He pulled Valerie into his arms. Valerie's crying harder.

"I have no grudge against your father. I'm a cop, Valerie. I'm just doing my job."

"I wouldn't touch your father if he didn't commit an unlawful act."
