Visit of Mama Maya

The Prita family enjoys the weekend at home only. Repot if you have to travel with three small children. It takes preparation and planning and vacation time long enough so that they can really enjoy the holidays.

Often, Prita was exhausted when she had to take her three children. To take care of Livy's small power is up, let alone there are two heroes who will disappear if the eyes do not watch them one second.

This weekend they are only at home because Ayash has some work to do. Another reason, grandparents of children from Indonesia will visit. Yes, Mama Maya and Papa Reonal said they would come to Singapore.

It is not easy for entrepreneurs like them to spend time visiting their grandchildren who live far abroad. When in Indonesia alone they rarely meet, especially now. Maybe only once a year. Or if there's a job in Singapore, they visit their grandchildren.

Prita is accompanying Livy to play Barbie doll. Livy is still in the curious stage, he breaks his doll, takes off his shirt, hands, feet, and doll head. Then he tried to put it back together. When feeling upset, he will ask Prita to help him put his doll back up. Once fixed, he'll let go again. So on Livy's job. But, Prita patiently followed the will of her youngest daughter.

Not far from Livy's place, Dean was engrossed in boxing in a play area specially developed for children. The existence of a boxing playground can at least channel Dean's super active energy. He likes to hit and kick. No mistake his papa woke up the boxing area and bought him a lot of soft statues that he could hit without feeling sick.

Unlike his two brothers, Daniel was getting tired of composing his lego. He left his game place to visit his father's office.

"Papa.... "

"Hi, Honey. Why?" Ayash stopped his work. He took off his glasses and lifted Daniel up and hugged him.

"Is Papa tired? I can help with the squeaking." Daniel moved his little fingers on Ayash's shoulder.

"Hahaha, you are indeed the most understanding of Papa's children. Why don't you play with Dean?"

"I don't like boxing. Dean's gonna hit me for real if I get close to him." Daniel is a year older, but Dean always wins if the two fight.

"You can play lego."

"I'm bored."

"Do you need Papa to play?"

"No, I want to accompany Papa to work." Daniel kept moving his hand on his shoulder. His strength was not felt in the slightest, but Ayash liked the effort and attention of the little boy.

"Isn't it boring to accompany papa to work?"

"No. I love watching Papa work. If I'm older, I'll help Papa's work so that Papa doesn't get tired."

"When you're older, you want to be like papa?"

"certain. I want to be a great businessman like Papa."

Ayash hugged Daniel. Of his three children, Daniel was closer to him. Maybe because his mother was always busy taking care of his sisters, so Daniel actually preferred to be with him. Ayash used to take Daniel to the office. Daniel's a good boy, not a fuss. He can be calm playing the game he was given. Daniel is not a bored and active kid like Dean. Daniel is like a child who can be independent. He's not a whiny.

"Papa... Is Daniel bothering you?"

"No. You've taken papa. Now papa's tiredness is gone."

"really? Then every day I'm gonna massage Papa, okay?"

"Can."

"I love you, Papa." Daniel lands a kiss on Ayash's cheek.

"I love you too, Daniel."

Ayash pinched Daniel's nose. He saw that innocent eyes that sparkled with love were looking back at him. The two of them have no blood relation. But, both have a sincere love like father and son.

Since the first time I saw Daniel was born into the world, Ayash was made to fall in love by the boy. He learned to be a father for the first time with Daniel before the birth of his other children.

Daniel, though not his flesh and blood, had the same place as his other sons. Daniel remains his son, despite the fact that he is not his biological son. Their physiques have nothing in common. That is what often makes people gossip, including their own parents.

But, Ayash would always stand in front of Daniel to defend him. For him Daniel is still his son no matter what people say, no matter what people want to believe or not. He would not recognize Daniel as another man's son, Daniel as his son.

Ayash hugged Daniel's body. He doesn't want anyone to hurt his feelings. Whatever happens, he will try to keep Daniel's happy feelings with his family intact. His life would be perfect without having to listen to the words of people.

Ting Tong's....

"Ah, yes. Let's welcome them." Ayash got up from his seat holding Daniel.

They went out of the study to the living room. It seems that Prita, Livy, and Dean had already welcomed the arrival of their grandparents with joy.

"Yes... Oma Opa came. " cried Dean.

Mama Maya immediately hugged Dean, "Okay, Oma's favorite granddaughter is Big."

After hugging Dean, Mama Maya instead kissed Livy, "Livy Oma's beautiful granddaughter.... gnashynya.... is playing a doll, huh?"

Prita kissed her in-laws' hands.

"Oma bring a gift for you guys. It's robot avengers for Dean, and it's Barbie doll for Livy."

Dean receives a large box of toys containing five of his favorite Avengers. Meanwhile, Livy gets a Barbie doll that can dance.

"Oma.... What gift for Brother Daniel?" said Dean innocently.

The atmosphere suddenly became quiet and awkward. Daniel who was in his papa sling put on a slightly moody face to see his other brother get a gift while he did not.

Maya approaches Daniel, holds the little hand and kisses him. "ah! Well, dear Daniel, forgive oma, yes. Oma forgot to buy Daniel a present. You played with Dean first, huh?"

"Sister Daniel, come play with me. The robot can move." Dean asked.

"It's okay, Oma. My toys are plenty." said Daniel.

"Thank you, baby. You are a good boy." Maya kisses Daniel on the cheek and then he turns back to Livy.

Ayash looked towards Prita. It was clear that her eyes were emitting sadness even though she was throwing a smile at him.

"Daniel, would you like to accompany papa out for a moment? Papa wants to buy something."

"Didn't Papa dare go alone?"

"Yes, papa needs a hero like you to protect papa."

"Okay, then, let's go!" exclaim Daniel spirit.

"Darling, we're out for a while" she told Prita, landing a kiss on the cheek.

"What do you and your mom want to drink?"

"Just make us tea."

"Good, Pa."

Prita immediately went to the kitchen to make drinks for her own in-laws. On a typical day, there were three housekeepers helping her. But, during the weekend, they deliberately closed because Prita wants quality time with family.

"I'm sorry, Prita. Your mama totally forgot to buy Daniel's favorite toy."

Prita smiled, "Papa need not feel bad like that. Prita also knows Mama Maya forgot. Besides, Daniel can play with Dean. Papa don't have to worry."

"Your mother's behavior is still like that. I hope you never get offended. He likes to argue over trivial things that shouldn't be in question."

"Yes, Pa. Prita understands."

"Then Papa comes back to the front, yeah, wants to play with Dean and Livy."

"Yes, Pa."

After Papa Reonal leaves, Prita's tears shed on their own. No matter how hard he tried not to cry, he could not help but relate to Daniel.
