Between Me and Brother

Series 2, chapter 47

Arriving in the front alley of the house, Mery tried to get out of the car with a very excited feeling. He was impatient when he was ahead.

"Anton, let's go!" mery shouted standing beside the car.

Anton smiled and got out of his car. Late at night Anton must quickly deliver Mery to meet his parents.

Across the street, there was a grandfather standing and staring at Mery constantly. Anton stared intently at him, suddenly a grandfather came to them.

"Son, you're a compatible couple, huh?" the old man looked at Mery and Anton.

"A, emm.. Grandpa, he's buk..," said Mery cut off.

"Yes we're a couple. Grandpa why do the nights wander? Later in the wind hit by gout how?" anton said while holding Mery's hand.

Mery is shocked to hear that, he wonders in his heart why Anton did that. Though the grandfather only asked but Anton's answer cornering which would certainly be a slander.

Then Mery pinched Anton's waist with her hands hiding behind her. Anton screamed in shock.

"What's your name, son?" the grandfather smiled.

"His name is Tuti Kek, where is Grandpa really going? Let me take ya?" anton immediately pulled the old man slowly.

Kok Tuti... Mery held back the grandfather's hand and stared intently at Anton. The old man smiled at Anton.

"Anton you are outrageous" said Mery furrowing his brows, "He is already an elder, you should respect him as you respect your parents."

Suddenly Anton starts to get annoyed with Mery and looks at her so coldly. Hearing what Mery said really made her remember both of her parents.

Mery was stunned at the confusion seeing Anton's expression change when he said about his parents. Mery approaches Anton trying to apologize to him.

"Anton, sorry?" mery said softly with a soft tone.

Anton looked back at Mery and glanced at the grandfather. However, the old grandfather's expression was flat. It was as if Anton could not predict himself. He became suspicious of the old man.

Be lucky? What did that old man mean... Anton murmured softly so that it sounded in Mery's ear. Mery just stared at Anton's last-goal with a feeling of guilt towards him.

Platoon!

Suddenly Anton flicked Mery's forehead so that Mery felt a little sick and yelled in shock at him. But Anton's gaze still stared at the old man leaving.

"Anton, you're so mean."

"Shut up, you're looking at me so it makes me feel awkward. So don't look at me like that, afraid you'll fall in love with me later on" Anton said haughtily.

Mery finally turned her gaze away, her face turned like a boiled shrimp, her cheeks blushing reddish. Anton's remarks made Mery afraid that it would happen to him.

"Here you go, I'll walk first" Anton said as he pulled Mery's suitcase.

"Hey.. Wait for me!" mery shouted walking after Anton.

Arriving in front of the house, Mery's eyes slightly glazed over from the end of the roof of the house all the way to the ground he stepped on. The house is still the same no changes were changed, the wall paint is still the same.

Mery stepped forward more in front of the porch of his house. Anton who saw Mery so miss his house was very sad.

"Thank God, O Allah. I finally got home too."

Mery walked one more step, he was already at his doorstep. Mery's hands were trembling and feeling cold. Anton only saw Mery who was so nervous, he did not want to disturb Mery's mood. But looking at him like that Anton thought the longer he was at the door, the longer Anton went back to his house.

"When do you want to stand at the door?" ketus Anton's.

Mery looked back, her cheeks were filled with tears, her face was completely dull. Anton was surprised, he was stunned to see Mery's face. Suddenly Anton walked up to him immediately grabbed Mery's hand and pushed him into Anton's arms.

Mery felt a little comfortable and returned Anton's embrace on the chest of the field. Anton was shocked, Mery responded from his embrace. Anton just wants to make him calm, maybe because too long while in Korea Mery misses both parents.

After being in front of the house he felt too happy until the tears he let out to prove how long Mery misses them.
