4 Months, then...
My day was filled with a lot of busyness. Four months ago, after I recovered from my illness. I immediately entered the race designated by Ustadzah.
After I studied and continued to learn about rote. A week later I remembered the lesson I had lost in my memory, it was back. However, only a little.
There's very little I remember, and about Lela. I clearly remember it. All because of the drought with him so that I can remember all that.
The rest until now I do not know and do not want to remember it anymore. Enough to get to this point, I'm grateful.
My life feels back to normal. Everything I do is the same as the other students.
On this day is a day where parents visit their children and some even invite to welcome the holiday. Although only one or two days, they will still pick up their children because they want to gather together.
Now I am sitting at the door of the dormitory, looking as far as the eye can see. I see the joy of the santri child here who has met his parents.
Willy had met his brother, he could not be picked up directly by his parents because he was abroad.
Lela was still taking care of the clothes she wanted to bring home, and replacing them with new ones at her home later.
As for the Princess, she had just been picked up and left with her parents. The Princess's face looks flushed red when she saw her parents coming towards her.
I still silently nailed, while waiting for Abi, Umi and Kak Tery to pick me up. However, it has been past these 2 hours. They have not been seen at all the stem of his nose.
My hope is that I can quickly go home and lay down my body in a new home in Jakarta. There may be many changes in the home.
And various stories from Umi who always scolded Kak Tery, he was his daughter Umi who always thought Umi was half-dead.
I'm rarely angered by Umi, because what? Because I'm rarely home for sure.
The sound of the phone just dropped my bow at the door. Suddenly Ustadzah was in front of me trying to pick up her phone.
"Hello, assalamu'alaikum! Oh yes sir, I'm in front of his dorm. I'll give you the message. Well sir, Waalaikumussalam" replied Ustadzah who was calling, I overheard him.
Ustadzah walked up to me while hanging up his phone and looking at me with a smiling face. It seems like there is something important that Ustadzah wants to tell me.
"Mery, are you busy today?" Ask Ustadzah while looking at his watch.
"Well, no Umi. What's up, dad?" Much
"Can you help Umi settle down in the hall room? You see, Umi should have a meeting of the saint's guardians for a while." Said to me.
"Can anyway. Why am I Umi? Kok tumben's. It was usually also Mr. Tono who cleaned the hall place." Ask wonder.
"Sir Tono is busy today. So Umi can not burden his work. Please Mer. Just a moment." Umi's seduction, putting on a face.
I nodded, and immediately got up from my seat. I walked while wagging my robe that was exposed to dust on the floor.
Umi walked beside me and grabbed me from behind. Then Umi's face always looked at me with a smile full of guesses.
"Yes.. Umi, this is" I said quietly and hesitantly. Umi immediately opened her conversation with me.
"Mery, please help Umi. You see there is a book resting in the corner there" While pointing to the book that rests. "Please tidy up!" Then smiling at me, he left me in the hall by himself.
I also obeyed Ustadzah's orders and nodded my head. I started walking towards the stack of books and grabbed the lap that was on the Ustadzah table.
The book looked dull and there was a bit of dust stuck to the plastic. When I started opening the plastic, it turned out to be a new book. This book is for semester 2.
I smiled and started to clean things up. Dive one by one book and put it in a shelf that has been named in terms of the title of the book and its arrangement.
Brakk!
"Gee!" I cried out in pain and then fell down with the book I wanted to put on the spot.
"Woi, if the road uses eyes!" The man's voice covered his face with a stack of books he was carrying.
"It's wearing glasses instead, not wearing eyes anymore." Holding my glasses, I shouted back from the floor due to the accidental collision.
The man put the book on the table and tried to help me get up. But I was angry with him and I took his hand.
"Cewe don't know pleasantries, instead of thanks even in cuekin." He said turning around his body.
Because of the sprain, I squeezed the torn paper around. I am today full of unexpected surprises, from waiting for parents who have not yet come, ustadzah gave the task of cleaning this book and again met and then collided with a guy who did not know to apologize to women like me.
"Hey!" I screamed while throwing a lump of paper at his face.
The man instantly fell silent on the spot, where he stood towards the exit of the hall door. I was immediately stunned too. I just remembered that I'm with him in a different place. How could he enter the santri wati area?
Instantly the man turned around and looked at me sharply. He walked towards me with the paper that I squeezed because it was so bad, he snorted annoyed and saw his face that held his anger.
"Basic geeky girl, glasses!" His screams poured out his anger in front of me.
It felt like there was a storm coming uninvitedly, the spinning earth seemed to stop instantly. That guy is handsome, but baby. Rich behavior of wild cats.
"Bodo is very geeky, which is important healthy! Wlee" Reply while being attached to her.
He laughed and looked at me amusedly. Looks like he's a little crazy, why is it at the lodge too. Oh yeah! Justright. Maybe his parents are not strong enough to take care of him because of his super strange behavior. Mumbled grumbling.
"I just found out there's a santri wati like you. Haha!" His eyes were on me, laughing.
"What si, not very clear. Go there, go. Go!" I shouted as I pushed him out the hall door.
Right, he's probably on some weird shit. I just answered him with his taunts. Why was he laughing so amusedly like that, wasn't that weird? I'm really upset today. A greeting filled with such an essential annoyance.
Ustadzah did not tell me at all, why my parents until now have not picked me up. At least they called over the phone this cottage and gave the right reason, because it was too late to pick up.
