Is That Joshua?

Joshua PoV

After a date with my girlfriend Leony, before I went home, I checked whether the woman was in her house or not. I asked the police officer I saw the first time I arrived at his house.

"He's not back yet. He'll probably be back here tomorrow." Said the police officer to me.

"What's the business that long?" I answered back asking.

"Ah yes." Said the officer.

He seems unsure of his own answer.

"Well, tomorrow I'll be back here." I said, lowering my head a little.

I then left the woman's house to hurry home. I feel so tired.

I got home around 01:00 in the morning. I took a shower, brushed my teeth and then went to sleep.

"Young Master...."

I heard the voice of a servant calling from the front of my room.

'Sih bothers me so much.'

I think I just went to sleep, why did I wake up?

"I'll be down later. It's still morning." I answered lazily.

"Young master, it's 10:00 in the morning." Answer the waiter.

"What?" I'm surprised.

I hurriedly sat down and looked at the alarm clock on the table beside the bed. I saw that it was 10:17 in the morning. I missed two alarms, 06:00 and 06:30 in the morning.

I remember that I actually had to drive Leony to the company where he works today.

"Damn! How could I forget that." Whisper me to myself.

I took my phone at the side table and searched for Leony's number. I tried to contact him. I felt so guilty for not being able to drive her.

"Good morning Leony. Sorry I didn't pick you up. I'm up late." I was nervous thinking he might be mad at me.

"It's okay Joshua. I-i understand. If you want, you can pick me up at lunch." Her speech.

The angel's voice was heard from the phone.

"alright. I'll pick you up at lunch, okay!" My speech.

"See you later Joshua." Leony.

I hung up the phone and checked my schedule. It's lunchtime and I think that I don't have an appointment with anyone today. I then looked at my schedule for today and my jaws opened wide.

'Lunch time went to Jessica's house to pick her up.'

That's the schedule my mom wrote me in a short message.

'What? Then who am I going to pick up?'

How'this?

I really want to go to lunch with my girlfriend Leony. But I wouldn't be able to possibly dispute Mama's orders asking me to pick up the cunning woman. If I don't do it, then all my facilities will be removed by Mama.

I can't without my car, credit card and cell phone. How can I meet Leony if I don't have all that.

'yeah! Really annoying.'

This time I had to cancel my intention to have lunch with my lover. I know that he must be disappointed. But this is all I do for the sake of our relationship too.

"Hello Joshua, are you going to pick me up?" Said Leony on the other side of the phone.

"Sorry Leony, I have a sudden affair and I can't cancel it. It's very important. I'm really sorry." I tried to explain to him.

"It's okay Joshua. I understand you. I know that must be important." Replied Leony in a calm tone.

That's why I love this girl so much. She's a good girl and really understanding. I was so lucky to have her.

"Joshua, if this is about you, I'll never have time to get mad at you for little things like this." Her speech.

'Ah, this girl is absolutely perfect.'

"What right?" I reply to tease him.

"Hmmm of course." The reply.

I can imagine his expression now. He probably rolled his eyes while smiling. That was his usual expression when I teased him.

I then went back to the clock that showed at 11:30, where almost lunchtime arrived.

"Leony, I really need to go now. I love you, bye." My speech.

"I love you too Joshua, bye." The reply.

Our call is over. I took my shoes off on the shoe rack and locked my room. I got down and changed my shoes as soon as I sat on the couch.

Jessica PoV

After tracking down who hacked our system, I discovered that it was Scorpio again.

'Scorpio it really pisses me off.'

I came home almost at 05:00 in the morning and when I got home, I took a shower.

Leo did not come home. He instead decided to keep watch at my house in case something suspicious happened.

"It's coffee for you." I said, giving him the cup of coffee I just made.

"Thank you Jess. Is there something you want to tell me?" Ask Leo suddenly.

"What am I gonna tell you?" Reply confused.

I don't understand what Leo means.

"Maybe a secret." He said with his shoulder shrugged.

"What secret?" I asked him again.

This time I was confused.

"A man came here yesterday. He said he had met you a few weeks earlier. He also asked where you were. He even asked who was in the body bag. He looks suspicious." Said Leo.

"Huh? How's character?" I asked Leo.

"He's a handsome guy. He also looks to be the same age as us. He's a rich-looking guy and he's talking politely to me." Said Leo.

I racked my brain thinking who exactly this guy Leo was talking about.

"He's in a car. But the only thing I remember about the car was a Ferrari and the plates had VIP stamps. He said that he would come back here today." Said Leo.

I thought a lot about what Leo just told me. But according to his description, the man looked handsome, polite, looked rich, was the same age as us and wore a Ferrari with a VIP plate.

I've never met anyone with a VIP stamp on his car's license plate number.

'Ferrari?'

I just saw a Ferrari at Joshua's family home and I don't have a friend who owns a Ferrari except Leo.

'Is that not Joshua?'

I immediately shook my head. It was impossible for him to come to my house. He was not even a handsome man or a man of manners.

But if it's him, then what is he doing in our house? Is he looking for me?

'Shit! Impossible.'

The anger that I saw in his eyes yesterday when he dragged me with hate, where perhaps he came looking for me. He looks so hate me.
