MT 49: Marry Me!

Alexa has changed. He did become a cooler person, especially when working in the office. At first he was a very friendly boss. However, his hospitality was misunderstood by some employees. Alexa often gets unpleasant treatment from some employees who do not know that he is the CEO of the company. Plus the case where his former employee, Bayu who tried to harm him because he was less assertive. And this time, everything was different.

This morning, Alexa was getting ready to visit all five companies she had just bought. He got out of his hotel room for breakfast at the restaurant that was in the hotel with Tomo, and at the restaurant there was also Jackson and Leo who were having breakfast.

Alexa stopped and looked at the reporters. He answered all the questions the reporters were asking casually.

All employees of the company welcomed Alexa. He met with the Director of the company and asked him to gather all the staff and other members for the meeting right now.

Alexa has determined five people who are highly trusted as its secretary in each company. Each secretary is in charge of managing one company and reporting all company developments to him.

After visiting the other four companies, Alexa returned to the hotel where she was staying.

That night, Alexa gets ready to attend a party. He contacted all the secretaries and asked them to contact all the clients he had just bought with.

Alexa is ready, this is her first experience visiting a work-related party. In the past, Alexa never came to any party other than at her wedding with Robby, and Jackson's birthday party ended miserably because she had to see Jackson with other women.

Alexa walks to the party location with Tomo. He walked into the party room. Everyone greeted her politely, they were fascinated with the beauty and aura of Alexa.

After greeting several business colleagues, Alexa chose to stand in the corner of the room with her hands holding a glass of champagne.

"Beverage is not good for health." Jackson stands next to Alexa.

Alexa grinned and said, "you're really a stalker."

"If you say so." Jackson replies, seizing the champagne glass from Alexa's hand. "Honestly, I did follow you here because I wanted to talk to you. But besides that I have a job. You remember the guy I was with?" Jackson asked, Alexa only raised both eyebrows. "He's my cousin Leo Oliver, the owner of this hotel. I'm here to discuss cooperation with him." Said Jackson.

"Hmmm...." Reply Alexa.

"I heard you've acquired several companies at once. Is that why you're too busy and don't have time to talk to me?"

"It seems like there's nothing we need to talk about anymore Jack. Your old lover has returned, so...."

"Enough. I've been telling you that our relationship has been over since he left me."

Both were silent for a moment.

"Will you dance with me?" Jackson asked as he grabbed Alexa's hand and kissed her gently.

"I can't dance." Reply Alexa.

"Omong empty. Didn't you dance so well that night?"

"Not as good and romantic as you are with Alice." Reply Alexa.

"You're this."

Jackson was about to pull Alexa onto the dance floor, but Leo suddenly came and shouted.

Everyone started whispering and talking about their relationship. Leo approached the two and apologized for his yelling behavior. Jackson immediately pulled the man's ear.

"You're so stupid." Jackson.

"Everyone please enjoy the party." Say Alexa to people who are looking in their direction.

Everyone stopped gossiping and went back to enjoying the party.

Unexpectedly by Alexa, Jackson suddenly went up on stage and began to speak before all the invited guests.

"Good night everyone." Jackson.

All the invited guests stared at him who stood gallantly on the stage.

"What do you want?" Alexa.

"Tonight, in front of all of you I will announce one thing." Jackson said that made everyone look curious. "Miss Dara Alexandra...." Shouted Jackson.

Suddenly the light of the lamp instantly highlighted Alexa who was standing in the corner of the room. Everyone turned to look at him. This makes Alexa clumsy.

"I feel like I've been waiting for this moment for a long time. You know for yourself our introductions are so short." Jackson said as he walked down from the top of the digger to Alexa.

Highlights continued to follow Jackson's steps.

"To say this, I need a lot of time. Consider everything that might happen. Dealing with God to make the most appropriate choice. I asked my own heart many times. Is it my choice? And many times my answer remains the same, it's you." Jackson said as he continued to walk until he was in front of Alexa.

All eyes were on the two, Alexa looked nervous especially when Jackson suddenly knelt before him.

"What are you doing? Get up quick." Say Alexa slowly.

Jackson pulled something out of his pants pocket. A small box and when opened there is a diamond ring that looks so sweet.

"Alexandra Air. Will you marry me?"

Alexa covered her mouth with her hands. He was so shocked he could say nothing. While Jackson was still on his knees and looked at Alexa expectantly.

"Marry me, and I promise to always make you happy." Jackson again.

Alexa has not yet answered, she does not know what to answer. It's all too sudden, a lot of things Alexa thinks.

"Alexa." Call Jackson. "Once again I ask." Jackson was seen breathing deeply. "Will you marry me...?"
