Behind the Veil (Aisha)

Behind the Veil (Aisha)
Operation Siti

Indira was flabbergasted to hear Aisha's words.

"I'm sure being a doctor is enough to keep you busy. You shouldn't have time to interfere in other people's business let alone be prejudiced." Aisha moved from her seat.

Indira stood up in panic.

"That's not what I mean," Indira said with a look of embarrassment.

"But I know what you mean." Aisha smile.

Indira immediately looks wrong, to ignore Aisha who said goodbye and has now left her.

Aisha walked over with a smile as she occasionally recalled Indira's words to her earlier. Now she also understood why her husband did not like her co-worker.

Meanwhile, Indira stared at Aisha's departure with her regret. The woman who he thought must have a colossal mindset in accordance with her appearance actually turned out to be a smart woman and could even easily guess the purpose of her words earlier.

Indira then turned around, walking towards his study room with still carrying a feeling of arrogance of course because of his plan that did not work.

"Yes Ummi. I was on my way to the Hospital to accompany Siti's sister" Lela said with her mother on the other end of the phone.

Zayn who was driving occasionally glanced at his wife who was trying to calm her mother.

"Ummi need not worry. Just pray that Kak Siti's operation goes smoothly until the effort that is being carried out by Kak Siti to get this momongan succeeded."

"Yes Ummi. God willing I will take care of Siti and Aisha. Ummi don't have to worry."

A few moments later Lela finished her conversation. A moment stunned as he let out a long sigh considering how Ummi was very worried about the state of his children.

After putting her phone in the bag, she glanced at the husband beside her.

"May I turn off the AC?" lela Pinta.

Zayn immediately obeyed his wife's wishes. He quickly turned off the AC and saw his wife opening the window.

Lela closed her eyes as if enjoying the breeze coming in her face. The wind this time felt fresh after a night until this morning the city was filled with endless rain.

Zayn suddenly held his wife's hand.

Lela looked at her husband with a smile.

"You know. A mother's answer when asked among all her children who she loved the most" asked Zayn.

Lela did not answer immediately. He looked stunned for a moment.

"A mother will surely love her sick child more among those who are healthy and who leave until she returns" Lela replied full of days, downcast sad to hold the pain of thinking about Ummi who is always sad to think about his children who are always in trouble. After himself now Ummi must think about the problem of Siti's legs being tested with baby.

"That's why a mother's prayer is mustajab. Penetrating the sky, shaking Arasy. Because of the sincere affection that will not be reciprocated and not asked to be reciprocated." Zayn smiled at his wife.

Lela smiled as she nodded.

In the middle of the preparation for the operation, Siti who was ready to sit on a wheelchair that would take her to the operating room, while waiting for the nurse to come, said the doctor, he sees Andre who looks tense facing the operation of the wife.

Siti pulled the hand of her husband who had been walking back and forth in front of her.

"Why baby? Do you need anything?"

Siti shook her head.

Andre immediately crouched down in front of his wife.

"What are you afraid of?" siti asked while holding her husband's face.

Andre looked at his wife's face.

"Are you afraid this operation didn't work?"

Andre shook his head.

"I'm worried about you." Andre spoke slowly.

"If I could be honest. I don't want any more kids if it's gonna be this way. I'm more afraid if anything happens to you."

Siti shocked.

"We can live together, there are no children no problem, if you still want children, we can adopt it," continued Andre again.

"Dear." The city is getting shocked.

"If you want, we still have time to cancel this operation." Andre said in earnest.

"Honey. What was? Why are you so worried. It's a small operation, not a big operation. God willing I'll be fine." Siti calmed her husband.

"I know that. But I don't know why I'm so scared."

"My mind's everywhere. I was thinking no-no. I'm afraid the doctor made a mistake later, or your condition suddenly dropped, I'm afraid something happened to you. I don't know why I can think that." Andre looked very worried.

Siti smiling.

"Honey. Lookatme. I'll be fine." Siti held her husband's face back.

"Pray that I'll be fine, don't think things through."

Andre looked at his wife's face.

"You should be fine." Andre kissed Siti.

Siti nodded and smiled.

Andre hugged his wife.

"I know if I overdo it" he said slowly.

Andre tightened his embrace when he realized how much he loved his wife. The woman who came suddenly in her life is now a very meaningful woman in her life. Siti for him is a special woman, the light in his life that comes when he can be said to have nothing, unlike other women who approach him because of his money, money, Siti even wants to make him a husband when he is no longer rich and accept himself as he is.

Siti is finally taken to the operating room, Andre with Aisha and Lela waiting outside the room. Everyone prayed for the operation to go well.

Anita walks to the operating room, although she knows that she is late because Siti has started surgery.

His steps slowed down when he saw some of the gathered nurses quietly watching and laughing at him.

Anita slowed her pace even more when she realized that the nurse was apparently chatting with Indira. They all stared at him while occasionally whispering in front of him.

Anita smiled as she approached them all.

Not expecting to be approached, some nurses immediately fell silent and retreated in fear.

Likewise with Indira who immediately fell silent.

"The key to my tranquility is that I will ignore those who are talking behind my back. It was enough for me when that person fell silent when he saw me." Anita looked at them all one by one while continuing to smile.
