Morning time.
Early in the morning Lela was already in the kitchen, hoping her husband would not forget to buy rice and other groceries to cook.
"I've bought rice" said Zayn, who was suddenly behind him.
Lela then looked at the sack of rice next to the refrigerator.
"But" said Zayn again.
Lela saw her husband.
"I didn't know I had to buy anything to cook."
Lela smiled. Of course her husband wouldn't know, she thought.
"Is the supermarket far away from here?" tanyakanya.
"No. Beside this apartment there is a large supermarket that is open 24 hours," Zayn replied quickly.
"Can I go shopping there?"
"of course. But-" Zayn hesitates to continue his words.
Lela saw her husband in wonder.
"Can I come? Today I can go to work a little afternoon."
Lela held back her laughter. He nodded slowly.
Zayn looks happy.
In Supermarket.
Zayn continued to follow the wife while pushing their grocery trolley, while Lela in front of him was busy choosing the needs of the kitchen and the others.
Zayn continued to follow his wife while smiling to himself, for some reason his heart was so happy to be shopping like this with Lela, he hoped that this was a sign that Lela was getting used to him, accept her presence and finally they can live the household life as they should.
Lela continued to pick up items that she needed at home until she did not realize that the shopping trolley was full.
Lela's shocked. She looked at her husband in a panic.
"Why?" ask Zayn in wonder.
"sorry. I'm shopping too much." Lela took back some of the groceries that were on the trolley.
"Why taken again?" ask Zayn in wonder.
"Too many. I'll keep it some more."
"It's okay. Why should it be kept again?"
"But I'm shopping too much." Lela kept taking back her groceries.
"No problem. My money is more than enough to pay for all this, even you can add more if there is something you want to buy again "Zayn tried to stop his wife who intends to empty the trolley in front of him by. He took back the items from Lela's hands carefully.
Lela's stunned.
"Are you not angry?" ask Lela to see Zayn scared.
Zayn was shocked by Lela's question, for a moment he was stunned while thinking if it was possible that his ex-husband would be angry if Lela spent too much.
"No. Why should I be angry?" ask Zayn with a smile.
"My money is your money too. You can use it as you please. Don't be afraid to run out because I'm sure that the sustenance will be smooth if the husband can make his wife happy." Zayn again smiled, trying to calm his wife down.
Lela fell silent, occasionally glancing at her husband. He then kept the rest of the groceries in his hands.
A few moments later.
Zaidan and his wife who were in the car when they were leaving for work smiled happily to see Zayn and Lela walking hand in hand with plastic bags containing a lot of groceries.
"They've done what we never did." Anita saw her husband.
Zaidan frowned.
"Shopping?"
"Shop together, spend time together" Anita replied quickly as she looked at her husband.
Zaidan smiled.
"You want to go after work and we go shopping, too" he asked.
"I don't know what time it will be" Anita replied sadly.
She was then stunned to think that her busyness made her unable to do much of her duties as a wife. Unlike other wives who are more at home, he must be smart to divide the time between homework and the clinic. So that for matters of kitchen and other needs he was forced to buy online and always delivered directly by the store courier. Though he knows if shopping together and spending time together is one way to be able to strengthen each other's relationship.
"I'm sorry." Anita saw her husband.
"Sorry for what?"
"I'm too busy with my job and can't do my job as a wife to the fullest."
Zaidan smiled.
"When I choose you for me and still allow you to work means I'm ready for the consequences. When I decide to marry a career woman, it means I'm ready if I'm not her only priority and my wife can't be full at home."
"Allows you to still work with consideration as well. I am sure that if your intention is to work for God alone, to help others, around you also most of your affairs and work in accordance with the character of a woman, which is to help a mother to give birth to her sons, it is very noble in my opinion. Not just any woman can do it." Zaidan glanced at his wife.
Anita smiled, now she knew the reason her husband still gave her permission to work.
His heart also felt a little calm because it turned out that the husband did not mind his imperfections as a wife, but instead appreciated his work as a doctor.
***
The next day Lela had a schedule to do therapy with a psychiatrist. As recommended by the doctor the other day, for this consultation and so on, Zayn as her husband who will accompany her.
"I've asked my boss for permission if after lunch I will accompany you to the doctor" Zayn said before he left for work.
Lela nodded.
"I'm going to the Hospital with my sister Aisha, so we'll meet there."
"Yes. Alright."
In the afternoon Aisha and her husband had come to pick up Lela, after which they left for the hospital in very cloudy weather conditions.
Lela and Aisha immediately waited in front of the doctor's room waiting for the queue while waiting for Zayn who had not come.
While waiting for the two sisters to chat, but Lela looked a little anxious knowing that outside in the rain and her husband had not come.
After a long time, Zayn did not arrive, but soon Lela's turn was called in.
"Aisha. Maybe my husband won't be here because it's busy, outside it's raining heavily."
"It's okay brother. I'll accompany brother." Aisha tries to calm her sister.
Lela nodded. But actually in his heart he still expects the arrival of the husband in order to accompany him when therapy later.
And finally the name Lela was called to go inside, she immediately stood up and helped the pregnant sister also to stand up.
Lela and her sister were about to enter the room, suddenly from a distance Zayn saw her husband coming while half-running with his shirt and hair slightly wet in the rain.
Lela looked at the smiling Zayn as she continued walking towards him.
"sorry. I'm late."
"I don't think you're here because it's raining."
"Rain is just wetting, not blocking."
