Behind the Veil (Aisha)

Behind the Veil (Aisha)
Prudent

Zayn's words felt so warm in Lela's heart. His sadness seemed to disappear instantly when reminded that Allah SWT will not forever make sad and suffer.

Lela. She smiled as she wiped her tears. Lela raised her head again, shocked to find Zayn who had been standing in front of her.

Lela smiled at Zayn who was staring at her face.

"thank you. Your words mean so much to me."

Zayn smiled.

"Thank you for cleaning up my room, too" Zayn said, looking around.

Lela smiled and nodded small.

"May I come in here every day to clean up?"

"Of course," Zayn replied quickly as he continued to stare at his wife's face.

Lela smiled happily.

Both were silent for a moment.

"May I ask you something for help?" ask Zayn.

"Yes. Of course."

"I think this room is not a good layout. Can you arrange it again?"

Lela immediately looked around.

"Looks yes. Should be the bed over there." Lela pointed to the window of the room.

"Then that?" Zayn walked up to his wife while pointing at the closet."

Lela seemed to be thinking.

"If it's over there? How's it?" Lela looked in a direction.

Zayn smiled. He's getting closer to Lela.

"Then this?" Zayn pointed at the workbench.

Back Lela was pensive with her eyes busy looking all over the room. While Zayn continued to smile while enjoying his wife's busy thinking face.

"It looks like it's over here."

"So you can work while looking at the scenery outside." Lela smiled at her husband who was now standing next to her.

"Oh yes. Looks like we have to buy a little nightstand to keep here, on top of which can be stored decorative lights to look good." Lela was busy pointing to the bedside while talking excitedly.

While Lela continued to speak, Zayn continued to nod his head. It was as if he was listening to the words of the wife when in fact he was only thinking of one thing.

"How's it?" asked Lela suddenly made the contemplating Zayn startled.

"Good." Zayn answered the origin.

Lela frowned.

"Good?"

"Yes great. All your ideas are good." Zayn.

"I asked how about we set it up now?"

Zayn. "Now?"

Lela nodded.

Zayn looked at the wall clock. It was very late and in fact he was very tired, but he would not waste this opportunity.

"All right." Zayn nodded as he rolled up his sleeves.

But then Lela was stunned after seeing the clock that had shown ten o'clock at night.

"Tomorrow" he said, looking at Zayn.

"Why?"

"It's night, you must be tired because today's overtime."

"No really. It's okay."

Lela shook her head.

"Tomorrow. Now just rest. It's night, you better get some sleep."

"alright. You also rest" said Zayn as he watched his walking wife take the vacum cleaner.

"Tomorrow I will also buy the furniture you mentioned earlier for our room."

Hearing Zayn's words, Lela who was walking immediately stopped her steps.

"Our room?" mumbling slowly.

He turned his back to see Zayn. With his shocked face.

Zayn smiled at his wife's reaction.

"Hopefully it's a good start" said Zayn.

Lela fell silent, her heart started pounding incoherently, for some reason her fear slowly reappeared. She immediately left her husband's room.

Lela hurriedly entered her room. After being in the room. Lela felt nothing more, her fear disappeared.

Lela smiled. This is a significant progress for him. Hope what her husband says is true may this be a good start to their relationship going forward.

"Please persuade your husband to accept your father's offer."

"No mom. If my husband has decided to reject it I can't force it" Anita replied as she busily checked some documents.

"But Son. Why did your husband refuse? When everyone does whatever it takes to serve as director, your husband wastes that opportunity."

Anita sighed.

"That's my husband's mother. For him the position, the position or whatever is not important, he just wants to work according to his ability."

Desi is running out of patience.

"But your husband won't be able to become a director just by his means."

"In this day and age. We have to be realistic, we need positions and positions to support our lives in the future."

"Remember Nak. We can't just live with love."

Anita was shocked by all her mother said.

He was about to say something again, but the door of his room was knocked.

A nurse enters followed by Aisha behind her.

"Mothers. I have to check on the patient first" said Anita standing up to greet Aisha who came for her pregnancy control.

Seeing Aisha. Desi was showing her frustration. His disappointment was with Aisha who he thought had taken Alvian from his daughter to reappear.

Desi thinks if Aisha had not married Alvian, her daughter would not have married Zaidan, Anita and Alvian must be married and at least her daughter's life is less secure because she knows exactly what a doctor earns.

Aisha approached Desi to greet her.

Desi answered his greetings indifferently.

"How's Auntie doing?"

"Well," replied Desi Ketus.

Anita has begun to feel the frustration of her mother is now seeping on Aisha.

"How's your husband doing?" tanya Desi saw Aisha.

"Alhamdulillah good Aunt."

"Thank God."

"Your life must be very happy, already have a good house and a big salary."

Aisha and Anita looked at each other.

"Mothers. What did you say."

"Mother just said if she's lucky to marry your ex-boyfriend, try if they're not married, you're definitely married to Alvian then your life is a little better than it is now."

"Mothers. How many times do I have to say that my life is so happy now." Anita could not help but stifle her frustration.

Aisha approached Anita and held her shoulders to calm her down.

"Does living in that little apartment make you happy?" ask Desi lantang.

"Don't go in the apartment. If my husband invites me to stay in the bar even though I'll be happy as long as I'm always with my husband."

Desi laughed out loud.

"You're like a snot boy in love. Think if life will be happy just by capitalizing on love."

Anita is getting upset by her mother's words. But he tried to dampen his emotions because there is Aisha who continues to try to calm him.

"Calm down. Be careful." Aisha kept wiping her best friend's back.

"Tell your husband to accept your father's job offer." Desi took her bag.

"If not for you, do it for us. Don't you ever think we'd be ashamed to have a daughter-in-law who works as a regular employee on a mediocre salary?" Desi stepped towards the door.

"Auntie." Aisha stops Desi's steps.

Aisha approaches Desi.

"Sometimes a person is called a parent simply because he was born first, not because he was wiser."
