Mother's Advice

Alvian couldn't sleep, Aisha's words were ringing in her ears, she turned her back to see Aisha lying on the couch behind her.

He stared long enough at his wife's back while recalling Aisha's words that really disturbed him, there was nothing wrong indeed, everything he said was true, he said, but he wondered why Aisha said that.

Next morning.

After performing the dawn prayer, Aisha immediately went to the kitchen to make breakfast.

Before long his mother-in-law followed, they cooked while chatting with familiar.

"Are you happy, son? Did your son treat you well?" mother's question suddenly made Aisha startled.

Aisha looked at her mother-in-law then nodded while trying to smile.

"Yes mom, I'm happy. My husband is very kind to me" Aisha replied later.

As if in disbelief, the mother held both of her daughter-in-law's shoulders, directing her to face her.

Mom tried to stare into Aisha's eyes, trying to find the real answer.

"Don't lie," she looked into Aisha's eyes.

Aisha looked down.

"I'm happy mother," said Aisha again, while continuing to cook.

I don't know why the mother felt that her daughter-in-law was lying, especially when she saw the two eyes of Aisha now glazed over.

Mother now feels if what she fears could happen, her son's marriage is not going well.

The mother began to worry, but then she hoped that this was only her assumption, and in fact her son's marriage went well even though their marriage was due to be arranged, however, the two have accepted each other so that gradually the seeds of love will be planted between them.

But in fact, the attitude shown by Aisha and Alvian is other than what you expect, which actually seems to reinforce her conjecture if the relationship is not good, there is no attitude shown as a newlywed couple in general, a friendly gaze and a happy smile.

Both of them actually showed awkward attitude and impressed to keep their distance, as at this time, when Alvian was about to leave work after finishing breakfast, he did not say goodbye to his wife.

"Son.." I saw her son driving.

Alvian glanced at the mother.

"Mom knows that your marriage to Aisha is not going well" she said carefully.

Alvian was not surprised, he knew very well that he could not hide anything from his mother. Her mother must have known from the attitude shown by her and Aisha.

"What did you expect? I told you that if I was willing to marry her, just obey the will of mom and dad," replied Alvian lightly.

"So the meaning of a marriage means nothing to you?"

"Marriage relationship is too sacred for you to toy with, can not marry just to obey the wishes of parents, so you ignore your rights and obligations as a husband."

"When you agree to marry Aisha, you have accepted Aisha to come into your life, be your wife, try to get to know her more closely, I'm sure if you knew him better you'd fall in love with him." mother advised again.

"Leave her, because now the more entitled to you is Aisha, not that 'other woman."

"But Ma'am.."

"Married to the person we love is not a guarantee we will live happily. We chose Aisha for you because she will bring you close to heaven. Happy world and hereafter."

"Aisha is too valuable for you to waste, lest you regret later," continued the mother again before getting out of the car.

Father and mother have returned home, the father who invited his wife to come back soon and not linger here so as not to disturb the newlywed couple, the mother who knows everything just pretended to say yes.

"Mom hope you can be patient, and remain a godly wife." Mother's advice while hugging her daughter-in-law when saying goodbye.

Aisha could only nod small, she felt guilty knowing that her mother-in-law expected much from this marriage.

After the death of her two in-laws, Aisha seemed busy re-cleaning her belongings because she was going back to the guest room.

Suddenly she is shocked by the sound of the door being opened, her niqab-wearing self immediately searches for her, but Aisha is confused to find because she forgot where to keep it.

Alvian was about to enter the room, but Aisha held the door behind it.

"Wait a minute, I'm not wearing a veil yet."

Alvian stood in front of the door that had been opened for about an inch.

Aisha pushed the door shut, but Alvian held it back with her feet. Makes Aisha surprised.

"Your cover is on the couch outside" Alvian said.

Aisha was shocked, she then just remembered if she had kept it there earlier.

Aisha was confused, she did not want to get out of the room without her veil. He didn't want Alvian to see his face.

"Get out and take it." Alvian seems to be challenging.

Aisha is confused.

"Hurry along. I want to go into the room."

Suddenly the door immediately gaped wide, Alvian reflex immediately saw Aisha's face which was apparently covered by the tip of her hijab.

Aisha walked quickly to the sofa and wore her niqab there.

An annoyed Alvian watched behind him.

Aisha returned to the room already with her veil, intending to take her belongings.

Alvian only watched in the doorway. It didn't help even though he saw Aisha who was in trouble getting all her stuff out.

"Say. Why won't you show me your face, and why won't you room with me?"

Aisha is a little surprised by Alvian's question, but she chooses to ignore him because he is still busy taking out all his belongings.

Alvian smiled cynically.

"My mom says I wasted you, but it's not just me who doesn't want this marriage, you do? It must be because there's already another guy you're cuddling with ..."

"The reason is what if you are tempted and end up wobbly after seeing my face?" Aisha's words quickly cut out Alvian's words.

"There's a promise you have to keep, right?"
