Behind Aisha's Veil

Behind Aisha's Veil
Knive

Both of Ammar's parents did not speak to Aisha.

Abah stood up, he approached Aisha.

"Have Son. We'd better just go home."

Abah held the hands of her two daughters.

"He's our only son, he's our hope and our future, all our dreams rest on him, again not that we justify all his bad deeds, but we are only disappointed in you for not being able to forgive him" Ammar's father told Abah to stop his steps.

"Because of this problem his future is destroyed, all our hopes and dreams are lost, how we are not disappointed."

Abah and his two daughters stopped their steps. They immediately turned around, Abah holding Lela's shoulder.

"This is my daughter too. Just like you, I have a lot of hopes for him. Not grandiose, just see his life happy. Her husband treated her well and was full of love."

"Not be persecuted with no pity, which father will not be disappointed." Abah seemed to reverse the words of the besan.

Both of Ammar's parents were speechless.

Abah and Lela resumed their steps, another case with Aisha who was still standing looking at her brother-in-law.

"If we don't report it do you think your son will still be successful? Will his future be good and bright? I'm sure not" said Aisha, who was ended by a cynical smile.

"As Abah once said, we do this for his own good, the evil is so great that something must deter him." Aisha then walked after her father and sister.

"If you like, we would like you to come to visit our Pondok Pesantren, how happy we would be if you would like to share knowledge with our students." Abah looked at Zaidan expectantly.

"As a hafidz and graduate of Al-Azhar University, your arrival can motivate our students to study harder." Ahmad chimed in.

With the pleasure of course Zaidan accepted Abah's invitation, he promised to take the time to come to Pondok Pesantren.

Zaidan, who had just finished giving his last statement at the police station, took the time to come back to Aisha's house, where he knew Abah and Ahmad were there.

In addition to extending the friendship rope, chatting with both of them is very pleasant for him, he thought if Abah was a very unpretentious kyai, his status as a leading religious leader did not make it jumawa, he thought, Abah remains humble and is willing to chat with anyone.

After a long stop at his house, Abah and his two brothers decided to go home, as well as Zaidan, they all went down to the car park together.

Zaidan let Abah go, until his car drove away from the apartment area Zaidan was just about to board his car, suddenly there was a car parking next to him, a car that felt familiar to him.

Zaidan was stunned to see Anita get off the car. Likewise with Anita who was shocked to see Zaidan there.

Anita looks misbehaved, while allowing her a long pashmina perched on her head.

Zaidan lowered his head with a small smile to see Anita covering her head only with a long scarf, where her hair still seemed clearly visible.

Anita, who knew she was being laughed at, immediately closed her car door, and she quickly walked over in a hurry.

"They're home." Zaidan stops Anita's steps.

Anita stunned.

"Just now" said Zaidan again.

Anita immediately looked at her watch, it had been three hours since Lela called her, so it was only natural that she had returned home.

Anita felt regretful, if only her work was not much, then she could rush to come here and meet with Lela.

Anita then seems hesitant should she return to her car or continue her steps to meet Aisha alone.

But considering the work she had to leave earlier, then Anita decided to just go back, she turned her body and stepped forward to approach her car.

Apparently Zaidan had not gotten into his car, and it made Anita very uncomfortable, so she walked with her head down while hiding her face with the pashmina she was wearing.

"I'm impressed. Little by little you change your appearance."

Anita did not budge, she knew that Zaidan was mocking her veil.

"That means your heart is not dead, it is still filled with faith so that you can receive good counsel."

Anita's gonna open the car door.

"May God bring us together again later, you have completely covered your awrah."

Anita immediately saw Zaidan.

"Aamiin," he answered briefly and got into his car.

Nightfall.

Aisha was teaching after performing Maghrib prayers, suddenly heard her house bell ringing.

Still wearing a mukena she tried to see who was coming, knowing that it was Nayla through the intercom screen, she opened it.

"Hello Aisha can I play?" he said as he walked inside.

Aisha just shook her head.

"Tumben's here tonight, what's up?" aisha asked while looking at Nayla who was already sitting on the sofa.

"none. I just want to have a chat with you. I'm tired of being home alone."

Aisha sat down, took back the Qur'an and read it again.

Nayla seems annoyed because Aisha ignored him, she felt bored because Aisha never stopped teaching.

Until long enough, bored Nayla then say goodbye to go home.

"Why go home? You haven't met my husband" Aisha said with a smile.

"What do you mean?" Nayla who was shocked immediately stopped her steps she then looked wrong and left in a hurry to leave Aisha's house.

Aisha smiled to herself at her behavior, from her reaction just now she became very sure if indeed the neighbor wanted to attract the sympathy of her husband.

Aisha could only hold back her laughter while shaking her head, she then thought if could it be that Nayla's disappointment with her unhappy husband and household made her jealous of her and Alvian's happiness?

Late at night Alvian had just returned home, he looked very tired and walked slowly into the house.

She is shocked to find Aisha still wearing a face of sleep waiting for her on the sofa, slowly approaching her.

Alvian kissed his wife's forehead. Makes Aisha wake up from her sleep.

"Honey. Why sleep here?"

Aisha hugged her husband.

"I'm sorry I overslept" said Aisha, opening her eyes.

Alvian then invited his wife to go into the room, he told his wife to continue sleeping, while he would take a bath and change clothes.

After putting on his clothes, Alvian immediately climbed into the bed where his wife was still not sleeping because she was waiting for him.

As usual they then chatted for a moment, Alvian told if today he met the patient a cute and adorable daughter and it caught his attention

"Honey. If I can choose I want our first child to be a girl, too" he said, hugging his wife tightly.

Aisha smile.

"Female. From childhood she had opened the doors of heaven to her father, when she had grown up she had perfected half of her husband's religion, and after becoming a mother heaven became under the soles of her feet."

Early in the morning.

Aisha and her husband who were having breakfast were suddenly startled by the sound of someone knocking on the door.

Nayla knocks while hailing Aisha repeatedly.

Aisha who was shocked immediately opened the door after getting permission from her husband.

As Nayla went inside holding her stomach and grimacing in pain, she continued to complain several times while sitting on the sofa.

"Why?" ask Aisha to panic.

"My stomach hurts. Ouch!" Nayla grimaces.

"Oh, Doctor. Please check why my stomach hurts so much" said Nayla grimacing as she occasionally glanced at Alvian.

Aisha then looked a little suspicious. She saw her husband who did not seem to panic at all.

"Oh, doctor please, please check my stomach, why it hurts so much." Nayla has now been lying on the sofa.

"Honey. You should check it out." Aisha saw her husband.

Alvian looks surprised.

"Check him, I'll take the knife first" he said again as he stepped up.

Nayla immediately fell silent to Aisha's words.

"What's? Knives for what?" nayla asked looking at Aisha in shock.

"Yes. My husband's a surgeon, he has to open your stomach to see what your disease is."

Nayla stood up.

"I think I'm okay now."
