Alvian bowed lethargic on the bench, still wearing his operating shirt he looked down while holding his head.
Everyone was gone, now it was just her and Aisha sitting next to him.
Aisha was silent, occasionally seeing Alvian who still seemed to be hit.
"Thank you, it has made the patient's family understand," said Alvian suddenly still with his head lowered.
Aisha speechless.
"This is my first failed operation. This is the first time a patient has died on my operating table. I've tried my best" Alvian said in a trembling voice.
Aisha is still listening.
"The boy is still a teenager. He's still very young." Alvian looked very sad.
Aisha felt a little pity. Her husband seemed very guilty. Aisha would let him, hearing all the outpouring of the husband's heart hoping to reduce the burden on him.
Alvian still silently lowered her head, Aisha then saw a few strands of paper beside her husband, Aisha picked them up, she then remembered that the paper that had now been scuffed was the paper that had been read by her husband this morning.
Aisha tries to read it, although she knows she will not understand the many medical terms there, but there is one part that she finally knows if the patient is operated on because of cancer that is already in the final stages.
"He's a colon cancer" Alvian said suddenly.
Aisha nodded, while keeping the paper back in its place.
Both were silent for a moment.
"We'd better go home now" Aisha asked.
Alvian was silent for a moment then looked at Aisha beside him while nodding.
A few moments later.
Both of them were about to take the elevator to the basement, while waiting for the elevator, both of them were shocked to see the mother had walked up to the two by two people beside her.
"I'm sorry Doc" the mother said in tears.
"I was wrong to blame the doctor."
"I insisted that my son be operated on, even though the doctor had warned me that the surgery might not work." The mother came back crying.
Alvian immediately held the mother's hand.
"It's okay. I understand mother's grief."
"I just realized if maybe this was the best way for my son, he wouldn't be in pain anymore. Again forgive me."
Alvian nodded. The mother then saw Aisha.
"Thank you for reminding me too."
Aisha nodded then hugged the mother tightly.
"May the son of Husnul's mother khatimah" whispered Aisha.
***
Alvian pensively could not sleep, today's incident was very tiring for him even though there was actually someone who touched his heart.
Of course because of Aisha. Again his wife showed his advantages and privileges, with once his words Aisha can even make people realize from her anger.
Himself lucky. True said his mother if in fact he was lucky to get Aisha. The woman was too special for him who was just an ordinary man scanty and sinful.
Alvian was shocked to hear the sound of something falling in the kitchen. He immediately got up from his sleep, walking out of the room.
Aisha appears to be bending over to pick something back at the newly arrived Alvian.
"What's wrong?"
"I accidentally dropped the glass."
"Are you hurt?"
Aisha speechless.
Alvian's coming to his wife. Yet disallowed.
"You're not wearing your veil" Alvian said suddenly.
Aisha, who was not wearing a veil, just nodded.
Alvian immediately turned his body around, as if knowing that his wife would definitely feel distress without a veil on his face.
Aisha stood up, looking at the husband who was turning her back, making it easy to clean the broken glass underneath.
"What's wrong?" alvian asked in shock still turning his back on his wife.
Aisha looked at her aching soles, apparently stepping on a small shard of glass.
"What's wrong?" alvian asked again.
"I stepped on the glass."
Alvian looks very worried.
"Where's your veil? I'll take it, after that I'll treat your wound."
"In the room."
Alvian immediately walked towards his wife's room, immediately looking for the cloth he used to see to cover his wife's face, after finding it, he immediately gave it to Aisha who stood behind him.
"Hurry up, I'll get the medicine box." Alvian took the medicine box under the tv rack.
Aisha finished wearing the veil, she walked towards the sofa because Alvian called her there.
"Thank your feet, I'll see the wound."
Aisha seemed hesitant, then she lifted her slowly onto the sofa.
Alvian watched his wife's feet without touching, he was initially wounded and bleeding because in fact his wife was only stuck in a small glass. And he knew it would hurt even more.
"Your feet are stuck in very small glass fragments, must be removed immediately."
Aisha speechless.
Alvian looked for small tweezers in the medicine box.
"I have to hold your leg" Alvian said hesitantly as he looked at his wife.
"Let me, please" replied Aisha, asking for tweezers in her husband's hands.
Alvian.
So small is the glass. Alvian saw Aisha having trouble pulling out the tiny shards of glass.
"Let me help you."
Aisha seems to keep trying, but still can't.
"Later the glass shards will get deeper into," said Alvian made Aisha shocked to see her husband immediately.
"Because let me help you." Alvian asked for tweezers in his wife's hands.
Aisha finally gave it away despite hesitation.
Alvian then took the flashlight in the drawer of the closet, then gave it to Aisha, asking her to hold the flashlight while she would pull out the broken glass.
Alvian sat back on the sofa, and asked Aisha to keep her legs on her thighs.
Aisha shook her head immediately.
Alvian then took the couch cushion, then kept it on his thigh.
That way Aisha finally wants to keep her feet there.
Alvian hesitantly holds his wife's leg, although it seems very noticeable that Aisha is very uncomfortable.
Alvian kept trying to pull out the broken glass with the help of light from the flashlight Aisha was holding.
Finally the tiny shards of glass were uprooted, making the two relieved, Aisha immediately lowered her legs.
"Thank you."
"Other times please be more careful" Alvian said as he looked at his wife's face.
"Don't get hurt again on the other side. Because I'm gonna have trouble treating him."
Aisha was silent for a moment and stood up and walked away from her husband.
"I will continue to improve. Until your face and your body are paused for me." Alvian stood up while looking at his wife.
"I will fulfill all my duties as a husband, until you will come to me with all my rights."
Aisha stopped her steps.
"If you had known if I'd ever come to you with all your rights on this body."
