Behind Aisha's Veil

Behind Aisha's Veil
Ammar

Aisha helps open her sister's clothes, occasionally hearing Lela's voice complaining of pain.

She who was curious forced her brother to undress so that he could see all the injuries his sister had suffered.

Aisha kept trying to hold back her tears, seeing the many bruises all over her body.

Until finally Aisha was no longer able to stem the tears when after everything was opened, she could see the wounds were too much.

Aisha covered her face while crying as she pleased.

"Silver should be treated immediately." Aisha wiped her tears.

Lela shook her head.

"Son't have to listen to me. This brother's wound must be treated immediately, even it seems like brother is better treated in the hospital."

"So, I don't want to be with you."

"Sister. Hear me. We better get to the hospital now." Aisha continued to persuade her sister.

But Lela still firmly does not want to get treatment. He just said if the wound would heal on its own.

Aisha was confused, and asked her sister to rest.

He's out of the room. Aisha who was confused immediately called her husband.

"Hurry home. I beg you." Aisha held back her cries.

"What's wrong?" Alvian looks panicked knowing that his wife is holding back tears.

"I'm going home now."

Arriving at Alvian's apartment was immediately greeted by Aisha who hugged her while crying bitterly.

The shocked Alvian looked puzzled and curious as to what had really happened.

"Does your stomach hurt?"

Aisha shook her head. Then with a little bit of a heart he told me everything.

Alvian was shocked. He then invited his wife to see the condition of his sister-in-law.

"So, I wouldn't want to if you saw it."

"But he must be treated immediately."

"Did Dr. Anita want it if I told her to come here?" aisha's asking made Alvian shocked.

Alvian shook his head.

"I have a lot of female doctor friends, I'll call one of them." Alvian took his phone.

"I want Dr. Anita to treat my sister." Aisha held her husband's hand.

"sorry. But I already know him, I trust him." Aisha looked at her husband's face.

"I hope your decision is not wrong." Alvian called Anita.

Aisha feeds her sister by constantly trying to hold back her cries. Especially when she saw her brother in pain to just chew his food.

"I will make porridge" said Aisha, rising from her seat.

Lela. He held the hand of his sister.

"No need. My brother is full."

Aisha speechless. He lowered his head, as if he could no longer see his sister's face.

"Sister can come back here thanks to the help of a neighbor, he helped his sister to escape, he also bought her a plane ticket."

"Alhamdulillah. Brother met a good person who could help brother."

Lela.

"You're not asking what really happened?"

"Whatever reason. Hitting a wife is wrong."

Lela shed her tears. Aisha held her brother's hand tightly.

Suddenly the sound of the door being knocked, Aisha immediately stood up to open it, until she saw Anita standing before her.

"Aisha. Are you sick?" ask Anita worriedly.

"It's not me. Come inside." Aisha invites Anita in.

Anita went into the room. He then looked surprised to see a woman with a bruised face sitting on the bed.

"He's my brother. I asked for help to treat it."

"What happened to her?" Anita stutters.

Aisha did not answer. And Lela too.

"Whatever it is. This must be persecution, in addition to being treated, your brother must also be in the visa." Anita approaches Lela. Then carefully examined the wound on his face.

"We'd better get to the hospital now."

Lela shook her head.

Anita immediately saw Aisha.

"Alright I'll treat the wound first."

Before long the room door was knocked, Aisha came out and went straight in again, apparently Alvian gave some medicine so that Anita could treat Lela.

With Anita carefully treating Lela, Aisha who was there unable to see her, she decided to leave the room.

Outside, there was Alvian who seemed also worried and confused. Aisha went straight to her husband and hugged him tightly while crying again.

Aisha immersed her face into her husband's chest, a convenient place for him to shed all his sorrow.

"You must be strong. For your brother's sake" whispered Alvian as he continued to stroke his wife's head.

Aisha stopped her crying. She realized that what her husband said was true.

Alvian helped wipe away his wife's tears.

"I'm Confused should we tell about Kak Lela to Abah and Ummi?" Aisha saw her husband.

"Wouldn't. Siti's leg problem is not resolved, we will only make Abah more sad. I'm afraid it'll have an impact on his health."

"We will both take care of and help Lela" Alvian said again.

"Yes. Thank you," replied Aisha again hugging her husband.

"We have to force your brother to go on a visa." Anita saw Aisha.

"This can't be allowed. Whoever did it he should be punished severely" he added with emotion.

Aisha nodded, she agreed with Anita's words.

"After the visit, we have to report it to the police, then the police will work with the KBRI officers in Egypt to return your brother-in-law."

"We really have to do that." Alvian saw Aisha.

Aisha speechless.

"With or without your brother's consent. We still have to report it" Anita said again.

Aisha nodded.

"I'm going to persuade you to go on a visa."

Finally, due to the compulsion of Aisha Lela to be invited to the Hospital for a visa, apparently her condition is quite severe, Lela is also required to undergo treatment at the Hospital.

Doctor Anita faithfully accompanies Lela, her sense of empathy makes her sympathize with what happened to the sister-in-law of her former lover.

While her sister was going through a visa, Aisha rushed to check her sister's phone. He wants to find out about something.

He finally got the phone number he was looking for. Aisha immediately called her sister's in-laws.

"We already know that your sister ran away from her husband. The plan is tomorrow morning we'll meet your family and complain about their behavior."

"What?" Aisha did not believe what she heard.

"My son is also on his way home. Because your sister's studies become disturbed," said her brother's in-laws with annoyance.

"Oh so. So your son is on his way here. Good though. Before meeting our parents, I'll meet you first" Aisha turned off her phone furiously.

She's pissed. Apparently her brother's husband has twisted the story so now her brother looks guilty.

Next day.

Aisha accompanied by her husband went to the family home of her brother-in-law, she who was sure that her brother's husband would have been impatient to see him soon.

Apparently, his arrival was also awaited by his brother-in-law and his family.

"It is good that you have returned to Indonesia, so we do not have to bother asking the Indonesian Embassy in Cairo to return you." Aisha looked at her sister-in-law sharply.

Ammar smiled cynically. He will say something but Aisha precedes him.

"The greatest child of a man is he who likes to beat his wife, violence to his own wife is a cowardly man with a weak personality. It was because of this weakness that he sought someone weaker to prey upon, making his own wife a slave to romusha, oppressed without pity, colonized only."

"You manipulate the predicate of a husband, priest and head of the family to justify wildness, savagery, and animal lust, torturing the wife you are supposed to protect."
