Behind Aisha's Veil

Behind Aisha's Veil
Pregnant

Joseph and his upset family went away with grumbling, especially the mother who seemed to not accept Aisha's words.

"Why is it still selling expensive, even though we just feel sorry to see it widowed like that" he said as he left.

Aisha will answer again but Ahmad immediately forbid it, her brother asked Aisha not to say anything more.

After they died, everyone who was still in a state of grief saw Siti who looked sad crying.

"They're really outrageous. In this state of grief, they even talked about marriage and insulted my slave status."

Ummi approached Siti, without saying much, she immediately hugged him. Followed by Lela who also hugged the two. Aisha who was very upset mixed with sadness just held back her crying seeing her brother and mother crying, she stood glued, just like Ahmad and Ali who were silent sad while bowing their heads.

Afternoon.

Ummi was confused looking for Aisha, he asked one by one everyone in the house but they also did not know where Aisha was, making people now become worried about her making.

In the midst of their panic, the new Alvian comes shocked to learn that his wife is not home.

"It's not usually like this" Ummi said worriedly.

Lela who seemed to know the possibility where Aisha was directly walking towards the backyard of the mosque, in the center of Abah she tried to find Aisha there.

Behind the barrier that separates male and female pilgrims, Lela tried to find Aisha among the crowd of students, she was a little confused until finally sure enough, Aisha was among them, sitting in a corner holding the Qur'an in her hand, she looked solemnly.

Lela immediately approached her sister. A moment stunned to see his sister who taught with tears that occasionally dripped wet the Qur'an he was holding.

"Aisha. Turns out you're here. Ummi's looking for you."Lela crouched down to Aisha.

Aisha stopped teaching while wiping her tears, and then covered her face with the Qur'an for quite a while.

Lela held her sister's shoulder.

"Your husband has also come home."

Hearing that Aisha instantly closed the Qur'an, she would immediately stand up but be restrained because of her suddenly dizzy head. Aisha grimaced holding her head while closing her eyes.

Knowing that his sister's health condition has not recovered properly, Lela finally asked a santriwati to call Alvian. Aisha forbade him while trying to force herself to stand up.

But his efforts even made him collapse unconscious, again Aisha fainted for the umpteenth time.

Aisha, who had just regained consciousness, found herself in her room, and several people swarmed, including Alvian, who was worried about putting the infusion back in her hands.

"It looks like she's pregnant," Anita said suddenly making all eyes go straight to her. Including that Aisha who immediately remembered if she had indeed arrived late for the moon.

"What?" ask Alvian not to believe it.

"This is just my guess. In addition to being sad, pregnancy makes her weak like this," he said as he approached Aisha.

"Aisha. You're late for the moon, right?" tanya Anita who actually knows exactly Aisha's menstrual schedule, because her best friend was often consulted about her fertile period.

Aisha was silent for a moment then nodded slowly. Anita smiled while looking at everyone.

"My guess is hopefully right."

Alvian seemed to be smiling happily, as well as everyone.

"May that be true, son. You're pregnant."

Anita then said if she had to make sure her guess was right or wrong with one way that is to use a pregnancy test.

"If it's true that being pregnant, with her condition like this, is very dangerous for her womb, she would have to be intensively hospitalized because of her very weak and slightly depressed condition."

A few moments later.

Everyone was happy after Anita confirmed that Aisha was pregnant. After pregnancy tests are performed using the test.

Ummi, who is very happy to hug and kiss her daughter, in the midst of her grief, Aisha has given her happiness with the news of her pregnancy.

Aisha is actually happy, but her pregnancy reminds her of Abah, she remembers exactly how her father wanted her grandchild. That made him sad again.

While the real Alvian is very happy to hear the news of his wife's pregnancy but is also made very worried about Aisha's situation which he thinks is getting weaker, finally on Anita's advice, he takes his wife to the Hospital.

"I fully understand and understand your sadness, I just hope that the presence of our child will be happy news that will slightly reduce your sadness. Getting you back excited about life, eager to recover and healthy for our son to grow up here," Alvian held his wife's belly.

Aisha saw her husband.

"Sometimes God makes the sky cloudy to show the rainbow later on, just as God makes his servant tested something to show something beautiful later on."

"This child is present in the midst of my grief, he is my solder, my source of happiness at this time, of course I will take good care of him because we are already very much waiting for his presence."

"I've let Abah go. I realized that those who have left will still go and will not return, if it is time to separate then it will be separate, and will be separated, I will not hold it tightly anymore because what makes the weight is a fixed heart and a sense of belonging when everything is just a deposit and will return."

Alvian was happy to hear Aisha's words, especially when her wife showed her enthusiasm to recover quickly, so she only needed to be treated for a day at the Hospital.

A few days later.

After seven days of Abah's departure, Aisha, whose health was much better, had to return to the city, although she had to leave her mother, but she could not stay there for long, her obligation as a wife must return she run.

"Be careful, kid. Take care of yourself and your gibberish." Ummi hugs her daughter as Aisha bids her farewell.

Aisha saw all her sisters who had come to deliver her departure. He then left Ummi to all of them.

"As per Abah's will, don't let our Ummi be lonely to make him feel sad."

The pregnancy of his wife made Alvian reduce a little work at the Hospital, especially Aisha like young pregnant women in general, experiencing nausea and vomiting that did not make him tasteless to eat.

Alvian as much as possible to make Aisha eat something so that her body condition remains nutritious, although it is difficult to eat rice, Alvian is grateful because Aisha still wants to drink milk and fruits.

After praying together, as usual, the two sat in front of the television. Aisha who often feels dizzy will feel better if her husband kneels her forehead slowly.

Alvian gnawed at his wife who was sleeping on his lap lovingly.

"I can't believe we'll soon be parents" he said happily.

"I'm grateful God finally granted our wish to have children."

Aisha smile.

"We should be thankful that God tested his servant in three ways. Giving immediately what we want to test our gratitude. Delaying grants us the desire to test our patience. Not giving us what we want to test our faith."
