Behind Aisha's Veil
Maturity

Alvian kissed his wife's forehead, with one of his hands that had opened the door of their house.

"Be careful on the road" Aisha said with a warm smile.

Alvian nodded as he continued to look at his wife's face full of love.

Instead of leaving, Alvian hugged his wife again tightly, no matter the door of the house that was now wide open.

"If I could skip work" said Alvian, kissing his wife's cheek.

Aisha just smiled.

"It has. It's late."

"All right." Alvian reluctantly let go of his embrace.

"I'm leaving first."

Aisha nodded.

Alvian turned her body, and she was shocked to see Nayla standing in front of her. His face changed instantly, cold and seemingly dislikeful.

"Good morning, doctor" said Nayla, smiling to herself.

"Morning," he answered briefly while turning his face away.

Aisha walked up to the two.

"For Aisha."

Aisha did not answer, she just smiled as she looked at the astonished appearance of Nayla, looking beautiful with a short white dress and a face that was polished thin makeup.

"It's pretty, where are you going early in the morning like this?" aisha asked as she held her husband's arm.

Nayla looks very happy Aisha praises her, she smiles shyly while continuing to tidy up her hair.

"Not anywhere. I am like this every day" replied Nayla timidly.

Aisha held back her smile, while Alvian who kept turning her face looked indifferent.

"Oh yes, doctor, can I be friends with your wife? Can I play at your house often?" nayla asked as she continued to stare at Alvian's face.

Alvian saw his wife.

"As for my wife, she's free to be friends with anyone." Seeing his wife his face changed again, warm and very happy.

The two stared at each other with affection.

Nayla who saw feeling annoyed, could-be they both continuously make out in front of him.

"It's a shame that I left first," said Alvian again kissed Aisha's forehead, then left without saying goodbye to Nayla.

Nayla continued to stare at Alvian's departure, her face clearly showing admiration.

Aisha who saw just shook her head.

"Neighbor's grass always looks greener."

"But that goes for people who never take care of their own home turf" Aisha said with a smile.

Hearing that Nayla who was initially startled immediately smiled with embarrassment.

He then says goodbye to Aisha and enters her home again.

Siti underwent the trial for the last time by continuing to be accompanied by Abah who always faithfully accompanied as in previous congregations.

The determination of Siti who still wants a divorce finally makes Yusuf give up, even though he was forced to finally divorce Siti.

Now that the two have officially separated, at this last trial Yusuf apologized to Siti and her family.

"I would like to apologize for any deliberate or unintentional wrongdoing during my time as a wife, forgive me if I can't be the wife you expect."

"No. You never make any mistakes, you're a good wife and a godly woman, you've made a mistake by wasting you."

All the way home.

Abah looks contemplated, occasionally glancing at Siti who sat pensively behind him.

As a father, he felt like a failure. His decision to choose the best husband for his daughter instead made his two daughters suffer, his two daughter's households had to end up in court, even one of them now ended with a police report. Lela's daughter even in addition to suffering inwardly but has also suffered quite severe physical injuries. It was all a result of her mistake to choose the husband she thought was the best man.

Abah silently shed her tears.

After yesterday accompanying Siti, today Abah also had to accompany Lela to the city to give a final statement to the police, as a form of responsibility and affection for his daughters, as well as his family, Abah is determined to always accompany and accompany Lela until this problem is resolved.

Arriving at the police station, Aisha was also waiting there, she hugged her father tightly.

"How are you doing, son?" Abah looked at Aisha affectionately.

Aisha replies that if she is okay, she is grateful when Abah also says that she is doing well even though Aisha knows that her father is lying, judging from the look in her eyes Aisha knew that her father was very tired and tired.

Aisha invites Abah to sit down, while Ahmad's brother comes out for a while to receive a phone call, they chat while waiting for Lela who is being questioned by the police.

Abah suddenly fell silent to see the two parents of Ammar coming, with full thought that Abah stood up to approach the two.

Abah said his greetings, but instead of answering they ignored and ignored Abah's good attitude.

Aisha who saw that was furious, she then stood up to them.

Abah who knows the character and nature of her daughter seems to know what Aisha will do. Abah immediately held Aisha's hand while gesturing her to do nothing.

Inevitably Aisha obeyed the will of her father, she then invited Abah to sit back, face to face with Ammar's parents who were also asked to wait by the police.

From the look on her face, Aisha knew that her father was very disappointed and hurt by the nature of both of Ammar's parents, and that it made her heart also very sick. Even so he did not want to increase his father's wounds by disobeying his orders, because it was as big as his desire to say something to the two people in front of him, he still held him back.

A few moments later.

The examination was over, Lela came out of the room, Abah and Aisha stood up to greet her.

Seeing his two in-laws who were also there Lela then took the initiative to approach them to just say hello.

Like their attitude towards Abah, as well as Lela, they did not give their hands to Lela who wanted to shake hands and kiss her hands.

Aisha and Abah who saw it hurt, Aisha even saw her father's eyes which were now in tears.

"Change. Forgive Aisha." Aisha caught a glimpse of her father and approached Ammar's parents angrily.

Aisha pulls Lela's hand which is still thrust on her in-laws.

"Sister. We need to get out of here. In order not to be exposed to the curse of people who do not answer greetings. Moreover, they had not answered the greetings twice," Aisha glanced at the two.

Both of Ammar's parents widened their eyes to hear Aisha's words.

"What'sthis? Is this your upbringing to your daughter?" Ammar's father pointed at Aisha while looking at Abah angrily.

"Then your son? Is being a woman molester the result of your upbringing?" aisha asked while holding her smile.

Ammar's father looks wrong.

"Don't be so rude!" Ammar's father then looked angry.

Aisha smile.

"If a wise man is found guilty, he will stop and introspect, correct himself and apologize, but on the contrary a smart man will continue to walk haughtily while continuing to seek excuses and justifications."

"Look at you I'm becoming increasingly convinced that old age is not a guarantee of one's maturity in thinking."

"Maturity is not judged by our age, but by how far we think we face every problem"
