Somewhere in the Kingdom of Midas. A mansion stood majestically in the middle of a hill, only that the splendor that the mansion once possessed had faded after the previous owner, a Viscount was demoted with his family due to a case dragging the Viscount. Make the mansion abandoned.
The paint had long since faded, the grass and shrubs were allowed to grow wild and even the path to the mansion had been covered. However, the interior of the mansion was not as dead as the appearance outside. Some people are obviously passing players, making the atmosphere alive but not with this room. The room where the core members of this group, Guild Call were gathering.
"Can anyone guess who that person is?" tanya Mera, one of the top hundred players, who was referred to as the Ranker as well as the Vice Chairman of the Guild Call to the other members.
At this point, all the players in this room knew who the person their vice-chairman was asking for, he was definitely the one who made the world notice appear. Making the atmosphere in the room heavy since they did not know who he was.
Whether it was an officially existing ranker or not, they were confident that not a single person could do what had been announced. And the existence of the ten great guilds themselves for the first time had they ignored ever since the party that did this feat was only one person.
"Haaa .. In the end I can't think of anyone" Kaguel said breaking the silence.
"Well, even if I wanted to I couldn't blame you for that." Mera answered. He himself had no intention of searching for an answer blindly since he knew it was impossible from the start.
And Mera's answer made the tension in this room go down one level, since Mera and Kaguel — who have been more like cats and rats when together— for the first time understand each other.
"Just who is it?" mare asked lightly, Guild Call Chairman returned the main problem they had to face.
Maybe the other players are having fun and not really thinking about who made the notification appear. Even the wave of discussion they were having now would only last for a while before it soon subsided. They just have fun finding new topics and will then immediately focus in an effort to be able to level them up on this occasion.
However, the same did not apply to Guild Calls. Granted, they would still take advantage of this time to level up but they couldn't just turn a blind eye on the case, ever since this sort of thing first happened since Vivid opened.
It has been six months, or a year of game time has passed since the first day of Vivid and in this time the player has also known the general geographical Vivid.
The southern part was largely owned by the Ladian Theocracy, and since the state itself was another form of church, the office of king and pope was held by one man. Players know there is an island nation further south than the Theocracy, the Drachen Kingdom. But since the information itself was fairly new, there was still not much they knew.
Moreover, now the player's view is fixed to the western area, since they have discovered the first non-human kingdom, Eirufl Kingdom, the elf kingdom. And another country if it moves further, but again they know nothing but its name, the Tigris Republic.
Until finally, from the east, middle, and north itself is dominated by the human kingdom. From the east there is the Federation of Scildkrote, following several other kingdoms as it moves to the middle of the southeast, the Kingdom of Norma, the Kingdom of Magiya, and the Kingdom of Midas. Until finally arrived to the country that completely controlled the north side and some central parts of the continent, the Fenix Empire.
In addition to these five countries, there is a Treffen Dukedom which although it cannot be categorized as a country, it is a neutral region in the middle of the continent as well as where players start before heading to the region that makes them interested.
And of course, Guild Call knew more than what was visible on the surface. In addition to the existing countries, the strength of the organization also cannot be underestimated since some of them can even operate across state borders easily, call it the churches and organizations where the Guild Call base is located, such as, Shadow Hand's.
Unlike churches that operate openly, Shadow Hand acts in a closed manner. The existence of this organization itself is not a big secret, both for residents and players but not by their actions. Since Shadow Hand was an organization that would perform any action they thought was right for the sake of the human race as a whole, even if that action was to the extreme ... and in most cases, that's how far they go.
Therefore, the overall movements of Shadow Hand were not widely known even to the Call Guild that was a member of the organization.
"But I really can't find anyone suitable for that!" wei grumbled as she repeatedly hit the table with a grimore in her hand, a thing no other weapon would be able to do.
Since they did not know what kind of moves the organization they were going to make, they had to be ready for everything possible since the few missions they had received would drive people crazy. And it does not rule out the possibility that they will face that person on their mission.
Perhaps Guild Call did not include the ten great guilds, but they were not far away from it. Since the ten great guilds were occupied by the club guilds that had had their own base outside of Vivid from the start, the position of Guild Call, which had emerged from nothing could be said to be extraordinary.
And they also know what makes them able to be at that point. It was because of the Shadow Hand organization as well and because of that, they would not leave this organization.
Glancing at his sibling who was deep in thought, Mare only sighed before she was innocent, "Is there no other angle to say besides that?"
Made Mera immediately turn her eyes to her sister. "What did you just say, brother?"
"Umm .. ls there no other corner—" And as if he also realized where the key was, Mare fell silent.
"So what if we use another point of view on this issue?" Mera said, attracting the attention of the other members. "We're too fixated on the point of view 'that he's a high-level person. Just like us'," he said making the other members nod in agreement before continuing, "But what if not?"
Making the other members tilt their heads before Kaguel asks, "What do you mean?" With a gaze as if he would immediately attack Mera if she said something funny.
But, the one who answered Kaguel's question was not Mera, it was their own chairman. "What Mera means is simple, since defeating unique monsters solo at our level feels impossible, why don't we just lower the level from not only the player, but the monster alone." Making his brother nod, while some other members were still hesitant. Before he said ...
"After all, that Goblin Prince was not the complete form of such a unique monster."
... Cut all doubts.
Even if the Goblin Prince had the title of ruler beside his name, in the end he was not a king. How big is the difference between a prince and a king? It was not just a slight difference and the members of Guild Call knew the difference well.
"If the case is like that ...."
The guild member muttered feeling the possibility that that was what happened was not impossible. And they themselves were not far from the truth unless the level of those monsters was further below what they had imagined.
"But that player must still have a certain skill to be able to take down such a monster by himself."
"You're right, Wei." Nodding Mera agreed to Wei's opinion. "To be able to do that he should at least play for a few months."
"So what we're going to do is simple." Mare, Guild Call Chairman said to the other members. "Find and keep an eye out for players who stand out among players below level 100."
If that player belongs to the first wave, the player in the first three months of opening Vivid they will definitely know who it is but since they are not, then only the second wave is possible. And for the second wave players themselves, which one had better access to information than the first wave of leveling speed was much better than the first wave but it was still impossible to be able to exceed level 100 that fast.
"And what should we do?"
"Well that's simple," Mare smiled looking at her guild members. "Just try to recruit them all."
Even if they did not find that player, one thing was clear, the Guild Call would become even stronger.
