Ascyaf O Vivid: The VRMMORPG Story
Chapter 17: Not Having Heal

Hearing Yaka's words in a commanding tone, Nuk was displeased but immediately pointed his bow at the cat. Even if deep down Nuk wanted to leave Yaka, he would only feel that the situation would become more difficult after Yaka fell.

Aggro, or the target direction of the cat will only switch to other party members. It was not that Vivid had no way to release the aggro monster, players needed to be quite far from the reach of the monster and not make contact with it for a while.

That way, players can make monsters give up on attacking them or an easier way is to use Dead Playing Skills. Although it also did not guarantee a hundred percent since some of the smarter monsters would wait a while before leaving their prey or would only eat it even if it was mistaken for a corpse ....

And therefore, Nuk found it impossible to escape easily from the cat because despite having a stocky body, the cat was still a nimble wild cat.

Nuk thought about his attack carefully ...

"The Power Shot."

... Before you choose to release the attack.

Nuk himself was level 32, quite high in the starting area but he knew well that with the level and equipment he had, he would not be able to inflict any meaningful damage to the cat. That's why he chose to bring out this skill.

Due to his level, Nuk did not have access to take skill learning quests other than Tier 1 Skills in a skill tree. Even so, low-level skills do not mean they are useless since Power Shot itself has an effect that is rarely owned by users of the bow, control skills.

Although the level difference also affects the effectiveness of the skill effect and even this skill itself does not guarantee a hundred percent control to occur since accuracy and stability take many roles, but Nuk feels it is enough.

Nuk's shot hits the cat, and he manages to leave the cat stunned (stun) with his attack while Saby tries to rush over, to a position where he can keep both of them. Makes Nuk think that he's not as stupid as he looks.

"Vera, you can spread the skill points to Power Shot or Icey Shot to disturb the cat" Nuk suggested. As a user of the same weapon, he tried to give the best advice he could to help Vera since Vera's fighting experience in Vivid was still zero.

"And give a few points for Skill Breezy to keep your distance" he said quickly. All of those were skills from the Tree Skill Shot Master ever since he felt Vera had yet to take access to another skill tree.

"Good!" vera replied obediently and started spreading the skill points as suggested.

Vera doesn't want her first day at Vivid to just end. Hadn't he even never fought monsters directly in Vivid? Although part of it can be blamed on someone who immediately kills whatever party they meet.

"Good! Keep bothering the cat!" Yaka shouted, letting out another skill as the cat jumped towards him. "Collapsing Ground!"

Bam!

A loud explosion occurred as Yaka's greatsword hit the ground. The Tier 2 Skill of the Yaka Berserker Skill Tree came loose, making the cat's fur stand by the force of the attack.

"Sword! Make the cat stunned for longer!" And with that call, Saby immediately entered.

The Sword Master Skill Tree might not be said to be too special.

Do they have strong attack skills? Of course, but it was less powerful when compared to the Assassin Skill Tree.

Do they have control skills? Yes, but it is much worse than a Tree Skill Martial Master.

Do they have defensive skills? They had it, but it was certainly weaker than what a Tree Skill Knight could do.

However, because of its unspecialty, the sword is the most widely used weapon. Because it was the most balanced Skill Tree that almost had everything, a jack of all trades.

They can be a burst type (damage dealer) with a large sword or a sustain type (continuous damage dealer) with a light sword. They can also try to play the role of a tanker with the help of a shield or almost anything depending on their second weapon.

However, Saby's own skill choice was limited since his level was still low, but he still tried his best to dodge the attacks and entered only to interrupt some of the cat attacks that led to Nuk and Vera. He acted more like a guard for the two now.

"Power Slash!" saby shouted sending a sword to the cat's head.

Unlike Power Shot whose control ability has a large hitch, Power Slash, as a melee weapon skill has a trick to guarantee control attacks are more easily triggered, hitting the target head.

Perhaps Saby would find it difficult if it was a humanoid player or target, but since the head of the cat in front of him was quite large, he did not find it difficult at all. The cat is focused on Yaka. If he can't even do this then Saby will wail, crying in the corner of his room for a whole day.

The cat immediately regained its senses, slightly shaking its head before seeing Saby's sword arrive and hitting its head. However, as if the god was mocking him, the cat's eyes immediately locked onto Saby, the cat was only stunned for a time that was even faster than a blink of an eye.

“Isn't that the same as not being stunned in the slightest?!” Saby wanted to cry now, cursing the difference in level and status that the boss monster had to make his attack not cause even a single disturbance.

"YIMAAAA!"

The cat meowed as it pounced on the grieving Saby. Giving a few punches as if playing with a ball of thread before removing Saby from the party, making him have to be the first to die.

"Damn!" nuk shouted while trying to release the Icey Shot to slow the cat's movement but soon Akuji stopped.

"Well, I think I better bother him a little." Akuji said lightly facing Nuk's threatening gaze and took out a Magic Flare. Making elemental power explode and flames burn the cat's body. "I think my luck is really rotten" he said casually.

Making Vera's eyes twitch slightly at the rate of her chat stream bursting furiously. Isn't that guy just lucky enough to be able to enter with Vera's party? And now he says something like that?

Vera herself did not know what to do with this chat stream and simply chose to close her eyes. He better focus on disturbing the cat since Yaka has been the cat's moons.

But he laughed ...

"Haha! Die here you fucking cat!"

... Together with the red aura that enveloped him.

A typical berserker skill, a passive skill that increases attack power the lower the character's health begins to be triggered when health reaches less than half, Rage Awakening is active.

Simultaneously, Yaka displayed the distinctive features of a berserker as his attacks grew more violent.

Astutei! Inflicting wounds to the target to increase the damage of the critical attack! Before his weapon swung and swirled wildly! Whirlwind, Spiralwind, Triple Slash!

Making the huge sword in his hand continue to dance with the flames that accompanied him. He did not undo a single skill, received an attack from the cat and simply swapped his health for attack power!

'Am I not great? Look at my greatness that is able to reduce 24% of total health alone, ' he thought before giving the order.

"You're bothering him! Mage, you heal me!"

Seeing the two archers obediently doing what he wanted, Yaka smiled. Everyone will always obey him, no matter what he says. It was always like that and he had absolute confidence in it, yet ...

"I don't have a heal."

... That word, which came from a useless mage immediately made his face change.
