“Kiekkk!” another goblin screams as he falls.
Pointing the next target with the grimore in hand, Akuji immediately proceeded to the remaining goblins. He had been hunting for a while and was now at the level .
‘Yeah, I think this is a pretty good result?’ thought wondering. However, that thought did not even bother him in the slightest.
After meeting with the first goblins, Akuji has a harder time since the goblins he meets next often pair up, usually consisting of two or three individuals. And now, perhaps because luck was not siding with his side, Akuji faced five goblins simultaneously.
Two of them had fallen, leaving Akuji with three goblins, one with a bow, and one with a spear, while the latter was the one that troubled Akuji the most, he used a great sword. The goblin looked different with a larger body than the other goblins but Akuji knew it was not a hobgoblin since the name the monster displayed still referred to it as a goblin.
If that was all, Akuji would not find it too difficult just that the goblin style was out of the common norm. He used a large sword, one of the melee weapons with the highest attack power with defensive properties. Makes Akuji want to shout, ‘Where is the ferocity of the big sword user!’ loudly.
Merely, Akuji knew that if he spoke now it might just make a moaning sound come out of his mouth. He himself did not know how he himself could still continue to move avoiding the goblin's counterattack amid the pain and injuries he had suffered. Since the goblin level itself was higher than Akuji, coupled with that great sword, he knew that the possibility of him being swept away with just one strike was not impossible.
Swooshes!
The big sword sweep whistled towards Akuji, sparkling with a gloomy light that signified that it was a skill, leaving no room to dodge. As if convinced by his victory, the goblin had a face like a confident smile. However, Akuji's body immediately moved quickly, rolling over and moving for only a meter, precisely dodging the attack. Leaving the goblin in confusion.
“Magic Flare!” call Akuji quickly, immediately following up on the opening the goblin gave him because of the impossibility he had done. And Akuji must admit, the intelligence of the goblin in front of him is quite high.
Previously the goblins could command other goblins to make it difficult for Akuji to even drop one of them, and although the two goblins had been successfully dropped, the goblins continued to corner Akuji's position. Since the goblin had a great sword, he was able to fend off Akuji's attacks effectively with his defensive techniques. If it was a shield, Akuji would still attack but since the great sword was one of the weapons with the highest attack power he did not dare to act recklessly.
Akuji had tried several times to trick the goblin in front of him but as if the goblin knew what moves Akuji could not possibly make, he always failed. At least, until now where Akuji did what was deemed impossible before.
With him being at level 6, Akuji had studied Magic Flare and Mana Recharge since the amount of his mana consumption was increasing and was unable to keep up with the usage ratio. And he still had 2 skill points left but he himself was still hesitant to learn Cut Spell or improve other skills and chose to leave it.
At least until a while ago before he learned Evasion, a skill that had barely even existed in his mind until now.
‘It seems not without reason this is referred to as a mandatory skill.’ Akuji.
The effect of the Skill itself is simple, making the player able to avoid any attack while moving even though it requires accurate usage time since the duration of ‘avoidance’ itself does not reach one second. And Akuji himself did not encounter any problems in accuracy.
“Kiekkkkkk!”
... The goblin posture that he had been guarding had fallen. Maybe because of the sudden imbalance he was experiencing?
Akuji did not know and only took advantage of this time to attack. Releasing his normal attacks in succession to recover his mana, recovering a little, very little mana in each basic attack he gave. This was the only way for Akuji to recover his mana since he couldn't possibly use Mana Recharge or rely on natural recovery in this condition.
“Elemental Arrow!” call Akuji, direct his attack at the goblin but fail since his casting has been plagued by a whistling arrow.
Picking his tongue, Akuji glanced at the archer goblin in his point of view before diverting the attack to the spearheaded goblin. The target that I felt was easiest even though he knew that it would still not be that easy since the other two goblins would always bother him.
Projectile after projectile magic was immediately thrown, exploding rapidly towards the goblin. Akuji only planned to use a simple way to deal with this situation, like what he did before, guerrilla tactics.
Akuji intended to continue hitting the goblin with the occasional throw of a Magic Flare that was unlikely to be able to be bothered before immediately retreating when danger threatened him. This tactic will require a certain amount of stamina consumption, making Akuji grateful for the hair tie he received earlier.
Even if those goblins were surprisingly able to adapt quickly to this kind of attack pattern, they would still be unable to find the right way to deal with Akuji.
“Bogu guga kakikek!” shouting goblins with a large sword, the leader of the goblin group pointed at Akuji.
“You won't be able to catch me again.” Akuji answered despite not knowing what the goblins were talking about. But one thing that clearly happened, the position of the goblin changed, not too far or too close was formed. And with the goblin archers being in the middle help will be able to be given soon.
‘It looks like they're getting smarter?’ Look at Akuji on that formation and activate Swift Run.
Even if it did happen, Akuji did not think too much about it. Drinking the other herbs he had prepared, he started attacking ever since that was all he could do. Attack after attack Akuji launched, met with a few spear stabs and arrows whistling, while the goblin wielding a large sword remained standing at the archer's side while giving the occasional command.
However, that was all that happened and although Akuji looked as if he was being suppressed, this situation was much better than when they were five. Makes Akuji able to avoid most attacks.
Activating Swift Run once again, Akuji took some distance and prepared to start casting the Elemental Arrow since the goblin in front of him had been lured out of the support zone. However, as if this was what he had been waiting for all along, the huge sword-wielding goblin closed the distance quickly, starting to swing his sword down with a gloomy gleam. There is no place to escape.
Even if Akuji can do the Evasion, the spearheaded goblin will immediately close the gap. Completely shutting down all of Akuji's possibilities for running.
