Afraid to Widow
Chapter XXIV (Orianthie Jehan)

Suddenly my stomach is hungry. I glanced at Mas Ammar, he was fast asleep the effects of the exhaustion of the event this afternoon. I went out alone to the kitchen, who knows there's still leftovers. Turned empty.

Check the food storage cabinet, there may be instant noodles. When it opens, it is also empty. Want to order Shopeefood or Gofood, it's 12 p.m.

I was sitting limp at the dinner table caressing. "Prophe Deck, eat it in the morning."

Someone hugged me tightly. His right hand caressed my stomach. "What do you want to eat, Dek? Let me find him."

I'm looking. "Who has a shop that opens at this hour? Especially after the pandemic, the stalls are limited to open until 8 pm doang."

"Who knows there are wares that are still open in the small alleys. If there is also no one is the most stuck to Alfamart buy instant noodles."

"I'm coming along."

"What the hell. It's night. Ntar caught wind by the night wind. Not good for pregnancy either."

I have my chin up on the table. Singing lips. "Ih, what the hell. This is a baby who wants to eat outside all night walks. Ntar our children drool if not obeyed," said I whine spoiled.

Mas Ammar even pulled my cheek. "You're getting better when you get a gini manyun. Yes, you can come, but it has to be a sticky jacket, a scarf and something."

"Ready, Boss."

I went to the room to put up everything Mas Ammar said.

Sure enough there are still open sword in Gang Satrowijayan Malioboro area. Ammar parked the car in front of the alley first. After that, we got down and walked a little.

"Mas, is there still food?" I asked as soon as I got to the bar.

"There's still a lot of it, Ma'am."

Yes I have taken two cat rice, quail eggs, tempeh and tofu bacem, bakwan. "Pesen ice tea yes. What would Ammar eat?"

"Wedang round. Any?"

"There, Mas. Just stay away."

I ate all the food in front of me. Mas Ammar shakes his head. "Is this a laper or a doyan?" ledek.

"Both, Mommy. Are you sure you don't want to eat? The sauce is delicious. Pedes."

"I'm not strong enough. You do not eat spicy you can no longer get pregnant," said Mas Ammar.

I'm a duck. Continue to eat. "Ah, this is a little. Just be safe."

In less than ten minutes, all this food in front of me was gone. I burped. "Alhamdulillah, full right, Dek," I said again stroking the stomach.

Not only in my mouth, I was also a hundred times grateful in my heart. Mas Ammar, who was a duck, is now super concerned about her pregnancy. O Allah, Allah is the One who turns the hearts of men.

Suddenly my stomach hurts. "Aw," I groaned holding my stomach.

"Loh, what's wrong with you?" unar Mas Ammar panicked.

"Not knowing."

Mas Ammar spent fifty thousand. Then put it on the table. " Mad, this is paying us to eat yes. If not, I'll be here again tomorrow. I was in a hurry to get my wife to the hospital."

Mas Ammar took me to the car.

***

I was taken to the nearest hospital. It's pandemic time, so we have to swab pcr first. Thank God, it's still negative. I was taken to the ER. Lucky to be checked by his doctor.

"Where's Doc, his wife and his gynecologist okay, right?" It was obvious that Mas Ammar was worried. Duh, so moved to see it.

"Aman. Small contraction. Maybe Miss Jihan ate a lot or spicy."

"Well, did I say, pregnant people can't eat bad food."

"What's that, Doc?"

The doctor smiled knot. "It's actually a myth. Reported by Firtscry Parenting, eating spicy foods when pregnant young or pregnancy in the first trimester is actually relatively safe. Spicy foods also do not affect fetal development."

Ammar rolled his eyes. "No, what did I say. Ngeyel is spelled out."

"Thank you very much, Doc. Then I can go home or should I open?"

"You can go home. I love vitamins so that the content of Bu Jihan is stronger."

We're out of the hospital. Just got to the car, Mama called. I'm confused, what's wrong? Don't-don't Mama why-why. I'll get the phone right away.

"Yes, Ma. What's up?"

"I don't feel good Mom. You're okay, right?"

It turns out that the bond between the child and the mother does not need to be doubted. "There was a slight contraction. Now it's okay. Here, the way home. You don't have to worry."

***

It was a bright Friday. Ammar is on a teaching holiday. Be together in the morning. He was busy holding his phone.

I'm upset. He was quiet. No effort to get the wife to talk.

"Mas Ammar, can I have something?"

"Hmmm ... what?"

"Mas Ammar, I'd love to hear your past. How many exes, why fall in love with Grizell, so why do you know me so well?"

He put his cell phone on the table. Instantly looking at me sharply. "Important to my past? The important thing is that I try to love and be a good husband with you. If I tell you we'll fight again."

"Yes important dong. I want to know more about you. As a wife, you have to accept the shortcomings and past of the husband."

We also had a fight.

"Assalamualaik."

Suddenly my father-in-law came. Well, get caught fighting.

"Vaalaikumsalam. Uh, Abi."

"Sorry to come early in the morning, this will bring porridge and honey to Nak Jihan. Good for pregnancy. It was like a really exciting conversation like fighting again. What's up?"

"This is you, Bi, Jihan's insistent on knowing my past."

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to interfere, but Nak Jihan …"

Indeed, Islam is very forbidding if a married couple brings up the past, especially related to obedience. Husbands and wives do not have to explain their pasts.

In fact, Allah SWT itself protects and preserves every disgrace and sin of its people, as evidenced by the word of the Prophet of the Holy Ghost which reads:

Whoever is stricken with misfortune by doing this kind of deed (an adultery), he should hide it, with the secrecy that God gives.

(CHR. Malik in Al-Muwatha’, no. 1508).

Prophet Muhammad SAW also said:

All my people will be forgiven, except the one who blatantly commits. Including a blatant form of manxion, someone performing a makshiat at night, God cover so that no one knows, but in the morning he told me, ‘Hai Fulan, he said, last night I did something like this.’ In the evening Allah covers his testimony, in the morning he uncovers the veil of Allah which covers his witness.

(CHR. Bukhari 6069 and Muslim 7676).

"Well, God has told his people to cover the disgrace of others, the wife wants to bring up the past of the husband? Try Nak Jihan think carefully, what would be the benefit if Nak Jihan knew of Ammar's past? It could only create fights and divorce can occur. The important thing is that now you get along well, trying to be good husband and wife. Enough already. Continue to make your household sadinah mawaddah warahmah in the future."

Abi's last sentence was exactly the same as Mas Ammar.

"No, said Abi."

I'm downcast embarrassed. As a good daughter-in-law this time according to the words of the in-laws. "Yes, this time I did it. Thanks to Abi early in the morning has been given a dish that meat really for me who is minimal science."

"Yes, you guys continue the debate. In the household, a small debate. Just don't be obscene. Abi wants to go home first. The only purpose here is to deliver food for Nak Jihan."

"Thank you again, Abi. I've been bothering with food."
