A Waiting (Letting Off Single)

A Waiting (Letting Off Single)
The Tired End

Alvin tried to quickly summarize the entire agenda of planning the event to be held in his cafe. He had to return to the hospital immediately to accompany Rili.

"Just relax, don't hurry later the schedule is forgotten. There was Dira who took care of Rili" said Adit who now sat in front of Alvin.

"Yes." Yeah." Alvin is still focused on his agenda book.

Adit felt sorry to see his best friend who looked so tired but never complained. Is his heart as strong as steel, that he is so strong to face all his problems.

"Try you to check again."

Adit took the book and looked at it. "Vin, there are three missed events. It's just a catering message, but it has to be written on schedule."

Alvin took a long breath. He's random hair that wasn't as neat as it used to be. Now there are pandas in both eyes.

"Udah, let me arrange it. I checked by e-mail and wa office."

Alvin pressed the tip of his nose to just relieve the dizziness that was getting felt.

"You want coffee?" tawar Adit's.

Alvin just shook his head.

"You tell me the same story I let your heart plong. I know you're on the edge of being tired."

Alvin took a deep breath and leaned back in his chair. "Honestly I'm tired, but I have to stay strong. There's Rili I have to take care of and Ayla too. Rili's bleeding again this morning. I feel so guilty for Rili in such a state." Alvin's eyes are reddened. He wanted to cry in the face of his current situation. "Not to mention Ayla who was fussy all night because of her round nyari, I also can not go home should nemenin Rili in the hospital. If I could stand it, I wouldn't believe it. Rili could still focus on Ayla and there was no need to feel pain like this."

"Don't say it like that. In the womb of Rili there is also your child candidate."

"Yes Dit, I also love the child in Rili's womb. I don't want to lose him, but look at Rili's situation as good as it is." A single tear managed to escape he could not stand it. "If I can, let me feel the pain of Rili."

"Patience, Vin.." Adit rubbed Alvin's shoulder. "You're throwing away all your sadness right now because when you're next to Rili you have to look strong."

Alvin again shrunk the dew on the tip of his eye.

"You don't think about the cafe, let me take care of everything. You are now focused on Rili and your son."

Alvin nodded his head. "Thank you, Dit."

"Together."

...***...

Alvin went into Rili's room. Apparently Rili was sleeping.

"Ra, thank you for taking care of Rili. You didn't come home yet."

"Yes, tomorrow if no one's looking after me, I can." Dira stood up and grabbed his bag, because at home there was also Arsyad who was waiting for him.

"Yes thanks. Tomorrow there's Mama here."

After that, Dira came out of Rili's room.

Alvin sat in a chair near Rili's cage. He looked at Rili's face which still looked pale. For several months he had not seen a cheerful smile engraved on Rili's face, even Rili tended to cry more often in the second pregnancy.

Hope your condition improves quickly...

A moment later, Rili opened her eyes. "Have you been here?"

"Barusan," replied Alvin briefly while tidying up Rili's messy haircut.

"No dear. Out of the dust. Have you eaten?"

"It's already."

Alvin smiled slightly then rubbed the top of Rili's head.

"Here hug me." Rili grabbed both of Alvin's shoulders for him to get close. Although only half a hug but Rili sure Alvin is in need of it. "Mas, I know Mas's tired."

"I'm not tired." Alvin is still evasive.

Rili rubbed Alvin's hair. Alvin's face had now been hiding in his chest.

"Great brass, always looking strong in front of me. I know that I must be very tired. Starting my first pregnancy first, Mas Alvin was there to calm my feelings, while Mas Alvin tried to calm Mas's own heart. Until the second pregnancy, Mas who fainted everything and can still smile, still say I'm not papa, can still take care of me even to faint during childbirth."

Alvin was silent with tears flowing. I don't know, that day his heart really felt mellow. Rili was right, he was actually very tired.

"And the third pregnancy, I blame Mas Alvin." And here Rili started crying too. "It is clear that this is not entirely the fault of Mas. And I can still calm down again. Still able to smile, still able to take care of Ayla even every night staying up so I can sleep well. They keep looking after me, feed me and all sorts of things. Not to mention the heaping cafe work. I know I'm tired but I never complain. Mas always tried to understand my feelings, while Mas never told how Mas's feelings might even be the same as Mas's own parents. He was just an ordinary husband. They are not angels. If you're tired and tired, tell me the same story. Rest, don't be forced."

"I don't want to overload your mind" Alvin said in a hoarse voice. "This is because I made your life change 180°. You who used to be cheerful, now actually often cry even endure pain."

"Ssttt Mas, this is the process to our true happiness. Imagine that if our children are already in school or have grown up, we must be happy to enjoy every important moment in their lives."

"Yes you're right."

People say, crying will reduce the burden in the heart. Alvin's heart that feels tired, tired and like being squeezed into something now feels plong.

"Udah Mas, don't cry anymore. Ih, wet my shirt."

Alvin smiled slightly and rubbed his face into Rili's clothes.

"Mas, it's like Ayla."

"Thank you, baby."

"From now on either me or Mas if tired, we complain and confide in each other. Don't pretend to be this strong."

"Yes," then Alvin's face descended into Rili's slightly protruding belly. "Would her movements feel less dear?"

"Sometimes, it's still 4 months. But I'm so happy to hear his heart beat healthy."

"He must have been a strong and great boy."

"Yes Mas. Can't wait to see you soon."

...***...

After three days of treatment, Rili was allowed to go home. He's been so much better than before. Arriving at home, she immediately hugged Ayla whom she missed so much.

"Honey, don't carry Ayla for a while."

"Yes, I just wanted a hug. Very kangen." A long kiss also landed on Ayla's chubby cheeks until she chuckled in a pang. "Such a you. Later at night sleep with Mother and Father yes."

Ayla just laughed loosely while babbling with baby language.

Alvin grabs Ayla and holds her in his arms and sits next to Rili. The three of them joked with Ayla's laughter getting louder.
