A Waiting (Letting Off Single)

A Waiting (Letting Off Single)
Someone Already Has

As the sun started to shine brightly, Rili opened her eyes. His head was heavy and dizzy. He circulated his gaze while recalling the events of last night. She was a little surprised to see herself still wearing a dress without even cleaning her face first.

"Why don't I remember anything about last night? Last night I was with Mas Alvin...." Rili tried to remember her again but her memory was only limited until the time she had dinner.

He got up slowly picking up his bag which was on the nightstand. He took his phone and opened his whatsapp and contacted Alvin but it just read calling without a dial tone.

Then he sent a message to Alvin, sure enough just one check of ashes. Tried to contact Alvin again via a cellular call but remained the same, inactive.

Rili took a long breath. He's trying to think positive, yes it's possible Alvin's phone is lowbath. Then he got out of bed and rushed to the bathroom. The cold water in the morning that already had bright sunlight managed to expel the heavy feeling in his head.

After finishing washing herself and changing clothes, Rili came out of her room, walking towards the dining table. My mom and dad just finished breakfast.

"Mi, Rasya's brother has departed?" asked Rili while grabbing a glass of milk that was available.

"just now. You're not feeling well? If you're not feeling well, let Mami go to the store."

Rili put the glass that stayed half on the table. "Just dizzy Mi. Hmm, last night Mas Alvin was between Rili's?"

Papi and Mami glanced at each other for a moment.

"Rasya picked you up," replied Papi Rizal later. "Maybe because you fell asleep so ask Rasya to pick you up, Alvin didn't bring a car."

Rili felt like something was awkward. Maski she fell asleep, but at least she felt that she was being carried or moved. Last night he felt absolutely nothing.

Rili was still thinking while continuing to eat his breakfast.

"Rili, Mami leave first huh. Signed by Papi. You take a break at home" said Mami Lisa after Rili finished her breakfast.

"Yes Mi."

After that, Rili looked back at her phone. Alvin's number is still inactive. Even until noon. He tries to reach out to the cafe, only Adit picks him up and says that Alvin hasn't been to the cafe at all.

...***...

That morning, in Rasya's office. Dira crouched down several times to look for her possessions that might have fallen under the table.

"Where is that necklace? Why can I forget I didn't go in yesterday." Dira stood up again and scrambled the files on his desk.

Feeling that what was sought was not there, Dira went out and found a cleaning service that cleaned his room. He asked about his necklace but the cleaning service replied that he did not see any items left there.

Yes, even though the necklace was only a titanium necklace that cost not up to 100 thousand but still it was precious to him because it was only a memento of someone he might not have been able to have.

As he was about to enter his room, he passed by Rasya. Dira just smiled a little and walked in. Dira continued his search in the room.

"Yes, sir."

"I came home a little bit early today. Later if if if Mr. Setyo comes here, you handle the same Doni ya."

As usual. The charm that Rasya emitted always managed to make Dira fixated and excited. "Yes, sir."

Rasya turned his body, just then Dira returned to look for his goods. "Where the hell is that?"

Dira's murmur was captured by Rasya's ear. He now turned his body. "What diary?" rasha asked as she walked closer.

"Hmm, it's nothing sir. Just a bullock."

"Bulpen? A lot on the table." Rasya pointed at some of the bullet points that were in place.

Dira just biting his lower lip did not dare to look at Rasya who was right behind him.

"How important is this necklace to you?" just as Rasya asked that, Rasya leaned over and placed the necklace around Dira's neck.

Dira was shocked. Even the necklace hook was not yet attached, he was now standing. He took the necklace and looked at it. Right, that's the necklace.

Rasya knitted his brows looking at Dira. "My question has not been answered. How important is the necklace until you look around and ask the cleaning service. Isn't that just an ordinary necklace that you can easily buy?"

Dira just bit his lower lip. "It's nothing, sir. Thanks." Thanks." Dira turned his eyes away from Rasya. Rasya's sharp gaze really seemed to pierce his heart.

"Sorry, yesterday I accidentally found it near a computer while I was looking for files."

Dira just nodded his head small.

"Ra, be honest with me. That necklace was a gift from me, right?"

Again, Dira did not answer.

"Ra," Rasya let out a long sigh."Okay, if you don't want to tell me the same story. I understand that your heart already has."

Rasya turned his body and left Dira.

A single tear now escaped his eyes.

If you knew, I never loved Brother Fandi...
