A Waiting (Letting Off Single)

A Waiting (Letting Off Single)
Wellcome Arsyad

"Sweetie I'm sure you can..."

That morning, Dira finally left for the hospital because of the more frequent lull in contractions. Now Dira is in the delivery room with Rasya with a full opening.

Many times Rasya rubbed the sweat that soaked the Dira temple then clasped his hands tightly as the impulse grew stronger.

Dira trying to push according to the direction of the doctor who handles.

"sickness..." Dira until he gritted his teeth. The pain is like the bones of the body being broken at the same time.

"Yes dear. You definitely can. Another bit. Come on..." Although it felt like Rasya was no longer able to see Dira who was in so much pain, he should still be able to strengthen her. Give him encouragement and affectionate support.

As the urge grew stronger, Dira put all her strength into it, and a few seconds later the baby's cry for the first time was so beautiful it seemed to fill the room.

"You're great." One warm kiss landed on Dira's forehead.

The tiny, still red baby is now placed on Dira's chest to perform IMD and skin to skin for the first time.

Those happy tears melted from both Rasya and Dira's eyes.

"Hi, Arsyad." The handsome male baby was wriggling with anxiety over Dira's chest. Her lips moved in search of her source of life for the first time.

"May you be a devoted child to both parents, especially to your mother, who has fought so hard for you to be born in this world." Rasya rubbed the red cheeks gently. "So a man who is wise and intelligent in all things. Like your name, Arsyad... Arshad Aditya's..."

...***...

"Mas, funny..." Rili immediately held Rasya's newborn son for several hours when he came to visit the hospital.

"Bell-looking. But it looks like Papi Rizal." Alvin's words immediately made Rasya and Dira's parents again observe.

Papi Rizal and Mami Lisa were sitting down. "Well, Aditya's genes run strong."

"It looks like Rasya. Where can his story look like his old grandfather." Papa the Gods disagreed with that opinion. He does not want to lose with besan who feels that friend.

"Eh, I'm opa, you old geezer. It's delicious." Yeah."

The two new grandfathers were actually arguing about who was old among them even though they were both old even though they were both still handsome and charismatic.

"You're both old, please give in," Mami Lisa's remark made their crisp laughter. "It's aki-aki too."

Rasya again sat down near Dira's brangkar. "Would you like to eat again?"

Dira shook his head. "Bust have eaten. It will be later."

"Yes, you have rested, but Arsyad is still sleeping. I'll wake up in two hours." Rasya began to gently rub Dira's hair for her to rest. "Thank you for everything."

Dira smiled sincerely. "Sama-sama Brother. Thank you for accompanying me to fight..."

...***...

That afternoon, Dea stopped her bike in front of her sister's cafe. He walked quickly inside the cafe because there was someone who kept chasing him from the campus.

"Dea..." The man managed to hold Dea's hand.

"Vito, why did you chase me here!!"

"Please, give me a chance to get close to you."

"What's wrong?" zaki asked puzzled as Dea continued to force him to follow her.

"I already have a husband, you don't keep chasing me." show Dea to Zaki.

Vito knitted his brows. Where might suddenly Dea have a future husband. During this time Dea singles, although many who pursue it but Dea is very choosy. "No way, you're lying, right?"

"No!" Dea looked at Zaki who was also looking at her. "Is that Mas Zaki?"

Zaki was silent for a moment. Then he straightened his gaze and one hand clasped Dea's shoulder. "Yes, I'm Dea's husband-to-be. What's up?"

Vito just fell silent and then he turned his back on his body leaving Dea.

"Thank you Mas Zaki" said Dea. He knows, Zaki was just pretending.

"Dea," now Zaki who changed hands to pull Dea and invite her to sit away from Alvin.

Although he was actually curious, but Alvin held back his intention to get closer. He stood up and went into the office. Maybe there is one thing they want to solve.

"What's up, brother? Sorry, don't be mad. I just don't want him to keep chasing me." Dea was scared too. Who knows, behind Zaki's calm there is a great anger.

"It's okay." Zaki let out a long breath. He is thinking about his father. He promised his father that he would get married soon. Is the girl who is nearby at the moment a suitable and appropriate match for him?

"Hmmm..." Zaki still seems to think. "If you marry me, what would you like?"

Obviously that made Dea very surprised. "Huh? Is that true? Is Zaki kidding?"

Zaki shook his head. "I'm actually looking for a mate but I don't have time to look for one. I have so much work."

Dea laughed quite loudly. The man nearby was too honest and there was no romantic side to it.

"Aren't you laughing?"

"Mas Zaki wants to find a soul mate like looking for stuff, use say there is no time all. Gini aja, Mas Zaki there is not the same feeling me? Okay, it's better we ta'aruf an but at least, there's not a little like me?"

Zaki was silent for a moment then he let out a long sigh. "Yes, I like you. I can't get you married if I'm not interested in you."

Dea's smile grew.

"We were close to each other for 6 months until you graduated college after that we just planned a wedding. But I want you to meet my parents first."

Dea's heart is getting flowery. Is it real or just a dream? "It's a reality, isn't it? Zaki's serious, right?"

"Yes. I don't think this can be made a joke."

"Yes, I agree." Dea now stood up and slightly ran towards the office. He opened the office hard enough to make Alvin who was laying down on the sofa surprised.

"Dea, you can slow down! Well, my head's dizzy." Alvin sat down slowly while pressing on the tip of his nose.

"Eh, sorry Pakmil." Dea smiled and walked over and hugged her brother. "Mas Alvin, I'm really happy that Mas Zaki is finally getting married."

"Huh? You dream?"

"No, I'm serious. Ask yourself Mas Zaki."

Alvin smiled, finally his only brother got the right man.
