A Waiting (Letting Off Single)

A Waiting (Letting Off Single)
So already??

Rili woke up from her sleep when it was noon. His body is fresher than ever. He now sits on the headboard and picks up his phone. He saw three calls coming in from Alvin.

Rili called Alvin back. Only one time the tune was connected, Alvin had already raised his call.

"Darling, have you eaten?" ask Alvin across the street. He always made sure of Rili's eating schedule.

"Not yet, I just woke up."

"Eat first, Lela was cooking."

"Yes in a minute. What time do you come home?"

"I'll be home in an hour. What are you bringing?"

"Mas Adit cook no? I want Mas Adit's cooking." Suddenly Adit's cooking crossed Rili's brain. Though her husband had always insulted Adit's cooking, but Rili was now so eager to eat it.

"Taste Adit? Adit's not cooking anymore."

"Well, I want Mas Adit's cooking."

"Yes, I told Adit to cook the important thing you want to eat."

"Thank You."

At the cafe office, Alvin severed his call with Rili while linking his eyebrows. Felt strange with Rili's taste. Usually his anxious wife did want any cuisine as long as it fits on her tongue, and only this time also Rili refused the cuisine.

Alvin gets out of the office and calls Adit. "Dit, you cook for Rili. I'm gonna be back home soon."

"What cooking?"

"As far as you. Rili wants your cooking."

Adit walked towards the kitchen which Alvin followed. "That's weird, tumben wanted my cooking. Chef's husband even asked masakin's assistant. Or bored with husband's cooking." Adit started taking food ingredients.

"Mbak Rili craves it." chirps one of Alvin's cook mothers.

"Nwantedam?" Did not cross Alvin's mind about the cravings, because he was married also not one month. "I haven't had a month of marriage with Rili."

"Oh, that setokcer." Adit laughed loudly which the other kitchen people followed.

Alvin further knitted his eyebrows, as far as he knew this morning Rili complained of pain coming the moon.

Cooking is it so?

Alvin's back in his office. While waiting for Adit's cooking, she saw some articles about pregnancy.

...***...

Feeling bored, Rili finally got down from her room. He searches for the whereabouts of Lela and invites her to accompany him to watch television.

"Why did you think Lela was? Watching tv yuk?"

"Yes, one second." Lela approached Rili who was already sitting in the living room. "Bak Rili doesn't eat first."

"Wait on Alvin. I ordered food." Rili turned on the television and searched for the latest drakor. "Sit here, Ma'am."

"Bak Rili is sick? It's so pale." Lela sat beside Rili and could catch Rili's pale face.

"Medicine monthly sick habit. But strangely, from this morning the stomach has been twisted but until now has not come out."

"Maybe Mbak Rili so exhausted so not smooth."

"Yes maybe. But I got to sleep and now it's good."

They chatted for a moment while looking at the Korean drama. Moments later Alvin arrives with a large box of food. He put it on the table.

Lela immediately stood up and left the two of them.

"How much food?" Rili immediately opened the black plastic bag and took two boxes of food that was quite a lot.

"Sir papa. Make it later you can. I'll get you some rice."

"Let me alone. Alvin just take a break."

Alvin restrained Rili's shoulders from standing up. "Let me get it. Look at this, you're still pale gini." Alvin stood up and headed for the kitchen to pick up a plate of rice and a glass of water.

After that he again sat down beside Rili then took the side dish he brought from the cafe.

"Want me a bribe?"

"Yes, in a minute. I also ate at the cafe."

Alvin smiled looking at Rili who was eating voraciously. Just two minutes of the contents of the plate had been washed out.

"You want to add?"

"More than that, don't use rice." Rili took the side dish again.

Alvin looked more and more in wonder. Sedoyan it with Adit cuisine. Is Rili really craving anymore?

Alvin propped his head up while staring blankly at the television screen that was displaying a fondling scene. But Alvin's mind was not focused on that, he was focused on thinking about Rili.

"Mas, how come you're daydreaming?"

Instantly Alvin looked at Rili who had finished his meal.

"Darling your stomach still hurts?" ask Alvin to make sure.

"It's not like Mas. After I make sleeping go right away."

"Are you really coming to the moon?"

Rili shook his head. "Do not know. Not out. I want..."

"Dear, I'm just asking." Alvin thought again. "Eat it? You take a break."

Rili shook her head after putting down the glass that had been empty. "I just woke up. But Mas Alvin if you want to rest no papa."

"I'll keep you company." Alvin wrapped his hands around Rili's stomach and slightly pulled her back so that Rili leaned against her chest.

When in a position like this, Rili felt very comfortable. Even as Alvin gently rubbed his stomach, warmth felt flowing throughout his body.

"Dear you didn't know anything?"

Rili shook his head.

"When did you last come the month before marriage?" ask Alvin. He wanted to immediately quell his curiosity.

Rili was silent for a moment. "Three weeks before marriage."

Instantly Alvin took his hand off from Rili's stomach. He tilted his face and looked at Rili. "We're three weeks and three days married now, that's a sign you're two weeks late."

"Yes, why Mas?"

Alvin took a long breath. Is Rili really not that smart about himself.

"Mas, I really want the meatballs that Kak Rasya usually buys?"

Suddenly Rili shifted his conversation.

"Bakso? Who's near Rasya's office?"

Rili nodded his head.

"Are you hungry again?"

"Just meatballs. That's a snack. Call Rasya ah, ask to be bought." Rili held up her seat and grabbed her phone.

"Honey it's still two o'clock, Rasya hasn't come home yet. I'm the one who bought it."

Rili shook his head. "I want Rasya's brother who bought it."

Alvin took a long breath. Last morning Rili did not want to eat his cooking, now instead Rili did not want him to buy it. If indeed Rili is cravings why it seems that she does not need her husband.

Alvin just kept silent to hear the conversation of his brother and sister through a mobile phone. Rili is very insistent to buy meatballs that finally asserted by Rasya by being forced because it looks like Rasya is doing a lot of work.

A smile suddenly rose on his face.

"Honey I can buy you, no need to stick with Rasya." Alvin was a little upset. He just doesn't like it if Rili doesn't ask him.

"But I am..."

"Yes, yes, no papa..." Alvin cut off Rili's words and he stood up and walked up the stairs to his room.

"Yes..."

"I'm gonna take a shower first.."
