A Story of the Haram Child
Chapter 25 Destiny

Like being electrocuted, Lasmi's expression changed. The arrogance that he had just displayed instantly vanished changed into a look full of worry. He bit his lower lip, his brain was spinning to find a way to reason.

"I was already aware when Daneela spoke to me, but because you came I felt lazy to face you, so I tried to keep my eyes closed." Anarya smiled blandly, there was disappointment and pain in the spotlight.

Lasmi was surprised. That means all the words he said were clearly heard by Anarya. The oxygen around Lasmi felt thinned until his chest was squeezed by various difficult flavors he described.

"Mas, can I explain."

"Enough, Lasmi. Now I've been more and more convinced that I've been wrong to marry a snake woman like you." Anarya's hand signaled to Lasmi to be silent.

"Your mother was involved in every plan, remember that, Mom."

"Yes, I know that. And now I'm gonna make my choice, not Mama or you."

"Give me a chance, Mom." Lasmi grabbed Anarya's hand which was immediately brushed aside by the man.

"Go before I call the police" Anarya threatened to make Lasmi's guts shrink.

"Do you have the heart to leave Resti and the child in my womb?" Netra Lasmi glazed over and her face was so clear.

Anarya. There are doubts that he has actually been silent all along.

"How old are you?"

"It's been ten weeks."

"I remember in the last three months I didn't touch you."

"Did you forget when I brought you coffee to the room?"

Anarya frowned, trying to remember. He rubbed his face rough.

"Bas on a cunning woman!" anarya said after knowing what Lasmi meant.

"Not crafty, Mas. I am your wife, so deserve yourselves" Lasmi sneered with a small smile at the corner of her lips.

Anarya was fed up with the woman standing before her. I really want to wash the mouth of Lasmi who is too venomous. He tried to get out of bed, but something was strange.

"Argh ... My foot why does it hurt so much? Why can't my right leg be moved?" Anarya's hand held tightly to the leg which she felt very sick.

Daneela, who had been silent, was furious with Lasmi, now panicked. He pressed the call button hanging on the top side of the bed, then approached Anarya and tried to calm down.

Along with the arrival of nurses and doctors, behind him went Mr. Bram and Ms. Bram with anxious faces.

The nurse quickly injects tranquilizers through an infusion hose. Slowly Anarya's body squeezed. He went back to sleep under the influence of drugs.

"What happened to my son, Doc?" asked Mr. Bram with concern.

"The son of the Father had an accident, when evacuated it turns out his right leg was sandwiched between the car door with the front of the vehicle that hit him." The doctor sighed for a moment, giving pause to the readiness of the heart for those who heard.

"Then?" ask Mr. Bram impatiently.

"His right leg was injured from the shin to the leg. It takes a long time to heal."

"Does that mean my husband will be handicapped for life, Doc?" ask Lasmi curious.

"Possible defect - yes, because his legs if healed will not be used to tread perfectly."

Lasmi who heard that bought an eyeball and patted the eel. There is a very deep sense of disappointment in the fate of Anarya later. He slowly stepped back and walked out of the room.

"Alright .. I say goodbye first, if there's anything can call me back." The young doctor patted Mr. Bram's shoulder as if to strengthen.

Mr. Bram was stunned not knowing what he should do. Meanwhile, Ms. Bram was sobbing at Anarya's side while stroking the head of the favorite child she had robbed her of happiness.

"Eyang Kung ...." Mr. Bram was stunned with a hug on his waist.

"Mr." Mr. Bram lowered his body and stood on his knees, cupping both hands into the little girl's face.

"Why is Kung crying?" Nesa's small hand rubbed a clear grain down her cheek.

Unable to withstand the grief, Mr. Bram finally embraced Nesa. Poor little girl, the granddaughter who had been suffering from indifference from him all along.

"Little angel Eyang .. how are you?" asked Mr. Bram to try to divert the conversation.

"Good, Eyang. Nesa just finished praying for Dad. But ...." Nesa glanced at Anarya who was still lying down.

"But why?" Netra Pak Bram followed the direction of Nesa's view.

"But I haven't woken up yet, Eyang." Nesa bends her face, sadness flutters.

"So Nesa's father had woken up, but the doctor gave him a sedative so that Nesa's father could rest again."

"What's right, Eyang?" That round eye sparkle implied expectantly.

Mr. Bram nodded and smiled. He wanted to strengthen the little angel's heart, not wanting to see the tears welling up in his beautiful eyes.

"Nesa's eating?"

"No, Eyang. Nesa can't eat if you're not awake yet."

"Nesa must eat, must take care of health so that later if Dad wakes up Nesa can be strong to take care of Dad."

"Yes, too, Yang. Yes, Nesa ate. But ...."

"It's .. Come on, not much but." Bram took Nesa by the hand and took her out.

Miss Bram is still crying over her son. But he stopped when the corner of his net caught the figure of Daneela in the corner of the room.

Carefully Bu Bram approached Daneela who was still covering her face with both hands. Sobs were clearly heard, tears falling onto his lap.

"Da-Daneela ...." Bu Bram's hand slowly held Daneela's shoulder gently.

Daneela looked up, spontaneously she stood up and hugged Bu Bram. Daneela just spilled all the flavor in her heart to make Bu Bram feel surprised.

"Daneela, do you love Anarya?"

Daneela was stunned by the question that came from the woman she was hugging. He realized his attitude was excessive, slowly he let go of his embrace.

"Answer, Daneela. Do you love my son?"

Daneela became misbehaved, she did not know how she felt. Repeatedly he wiped the tears that continued to flow without command.

"Daneela," call Bu Bram while holding Daneela's shoulder.

"Honest to Mama, do you love her?"

Daneela looked down deeply, crying again and covering her face with both hands. Ms. Bram seemed to respond with Daneela's feelings, she clasped Daneela's body back into her arms.

"Mama would be happy if you would accompany my son."

Daneela was again shocked by the words of Bu Bram. He looked up, looking at the face of the lady in front of him. Her dream? Or just misheard?

Daneela gasped and was stunned without being able to uncover a word.
