A Story of the Haram Child
Chapter 21 The Fear of Lasmi

After a violent quarrel with Anarya, Lasmi unceasingly tried to dial Anarya's number. I don't know how many calls he made, but still nil. Anarya did not pick up or answer the message she sent.

Lasmi also tried to contact her mother-in-law, staying nil. Lasmi's anxiety became more when it was two nights Anarya did not come home and the Bramantyo family was no one to pick up the phone to just give news.

Without thinking any longer, immediately Lasmi took the bag and held Resti who was still asleep. That night, he was determined to hit the night wind towards the residence of in-laws on a motorcycle.

At 22:40 he arrived in front of a large, high-fenced house. Immediately he got off the motorcycle, without waiting for a long time his hands immediately entered the sidelines of the fence. He pressed many times the bell on the inside of the iron fence with the fence wall.

"Ma! Mama! Open the door, Ma! Mama!" lasmi shouted repeatedly, Resti who heard a loud voice in her ear wriggling then opened her eyes and cried.

"Ma .. Open the door, Ma. Please Lasmi!" Lasmi's hand shook the iron fence.

After more than twenty minutes of effort, the door finally opened. A middle-aged woman came to open the fence.

"Last long! Capek knows not to scream from earlier not flickering open the door. Basic maid malesan, her work sleeps mute! It's good to eat blind!" maki Lasmi to Bik Sanah.

"Sorry, Non. I ...."

"Hold this," Lasmi orders while handing the still crying Resti to Bik Sanah's sling.

He rushed into the house with a loud cry calling Bu Bram and stopped when he found his mother-in-law starting to descend the stairs.

"Ma, Mas Narya hasn't returned yet. I don't want him to leave me, Ma. I'm afraid that until he divorces me. Please, help Lasmi, Ma."

Ms. Bram was still acting flat expressionless. He looked at the daughter-in-law he had loved so much, the daughter-in-law he chose because he was able to save his business from bankruptcy.

"Officially, Mama will try to help. But Mama can't promise to succeed or not." Breath sounds, something is holding back and tight in the heart.

"Why is Mama pessimistic now?"

"Official, we're wrong."

"No, Ma. We are not wrong. Lasmi has been suffering from the inner. Lasmi just wants to get Lasmi's right to be happy."

"Enough, Son. Forgive Mama for not being able to direct you how to get Anarya's heart."

"What does Mama mean?"

"It should be by being a good mother to Nesa, you can already take Anarya's heart."

"Ma, Mama why? Mama's fine, isn't she?" Lasmi frowned, looking at the mother-in-law full of probes.

"Already, Lasmi. If you want to get Anarya's heart back, change. Approach Nesa and be a good mother to the child."

"This is not true, Ma. Lasmi wouldn't touch that bastard." The cynical tone is so visible in Lasmi's words.

"Enough, Lasmi. He's not a bastard, he's my grandson. We've been wrong all along, so we have to start with a new leaf. Be a good mother to Nesa and Resti, because that's the key to taking Anarya's heart."

Netra Lasmi bought in disbelief at what she heard. He approached and noticed Bu Bram's face, something he wanted to find from the light of the twilight woman's net.

'No. This is not true. Where's that haughty highlight?' inner Lasmi.

"Whats happend with you, Mom?"

"I'm sorry I killed my son's happiness" said Bu Bram, holding a clear circle in the corner.

"What does that mean ... Mama will let Anarya divorce me?"

"Ma, why is Mama quiet? That means Mama won't do anything if Anarya divorces me?"

"Now go home, let Mama try to talk to Anarya."

"Promise yes, Ma. I don't want to lose Anarya. Especially now that I'm pregnant again, ma."

Bu Bram was stunned, and soon he looked closely at Lasmi full of investigation.

"So seriously you're pregnant?"

"Yes, Ma."

"It's not your wits, is it?"

"What does Mama mean?"

Bram didn't answer. He just stepped onto the sofa.

"Mama thinks Lasmi's lying?"

"It's Lasmi, now go home. Later I will try to talk to Anarya. I'm tired for now."

"Ma, please tire-," Lasmi's speech was cut off, Ms. Bram raised her hand hinting to Lasmi to be quiet.

With a move gontai Lasmi away from in front of Bu Bram. He could not force to talk to the woman who had made him his favorite daughter-in-law.

After taking Resti from Bik Sanah's sling, Lasmi leaves the Bramantyo family home with a fear of falling. Who else will defend him?

***

Upon returning from the Bramantyo family home, Lasmi still could not sleep. Soon he came out of the house, staring at the darkness hoping Anarya would come home. Niente.

"Where are you, Mommy? Don't make me worry like this" Lasmi said as she slammed into the front seat of the house.

Several times he rubbed his palms to ward off the bone-chilling cold, re-tied the fur jacket, then froze on the chair.

"You've gone too far, my dear. Let me get to this. Didn't you torment me enough during my marriage to you? I'm only married to your body, not your heart. That really hurts." Lasmi started sobbing.

His heart was so sick, so sick. Since he knew secretly Anarya still likes to come to eat Daneesa. It hurts even more when he finds out that the man he loves still keeps photos of past women in his wallet.

Even while sleeping with her, the name Daneesa is in the delusion of Anarya's subconscious. Lasmi is increasingly unacceptable when she finds out that Anarya's affection for Resti is different, Anarya prioritizes Nesa over Resti.

It has been five years since Lasmi tried to survive the discomfort. The more days he can no longer stem every cut he feels when watching the husband he married look at the face in a portrait of the past.

Be ill.

Lasmi squeezed the arm of the chair, the emotional turmoil was so sharp that she wanted to overflow it. He stood up, staring back into the darkness. Blindly he threw the chair he was sitting on to smash the pot order that was the target of his anger.

Lasmi's shout echoed, breaking the silence of the night. Hysterical cries repeatedly rang out, spilling out any chest-stifling flavors.

Lasmi now feels defeated. He is nothing more than a slave of love who continues to expect pity from the owner of the heart. The hope of still having Anarya completely is now getting away, the direction of life is getting directionless.

"Officially, you have lost," muttered Lasmi accompanied by a bitter cry.
