Two months passed, Jamilah increasingly mastered the ins and outs about the company as well as Jonathan. But the existence of Jamilah for Jonathan is like a bottle with a lid. If Jamilah is not on his side, Jonathan will be confused about everything about their family company.
Jonathan is very good at practice. He is very adept at word processing when dealing with higher-ups and prospective business partners. On the one hand, Jamilah is very master in the field of theory. Jamilah very memorized the ins and outs of business partners, all business fields and subsidiaries of PT Pesona Ragam Land, to the calculation of profit and loss of their family companies.
If Jonathan is in a presentation or meeting and forgets something, Jamilah swiftly overcome the problem of his superiors. Only by facial reactions, blinks or hand gestures from Jonathan, could Jamilah understand what his superior needed.
"For two months ... The residential Turf Village has reached stage four, the planning of the construction of the Mariposa Hotel is ready to start next month, and our company won the tender for the construction of a new airport in the city of XY ... It's amazing Jo!" Mr. Beni smiled with satisfaction.
Jonathan's nasal lobe expanded and deflated very quickly. Alex who has recovered began to return to work per day, smiling proudly at the success of his sister.
"Papa didn't expect you to exceed the expectations Papa hoped for, Jo."
"Thank you, Pa." Jonathan showed me his white teeth.
"All thanks to your goddess of fortune?" alex asked while giving a seductive glance.
"Who? Jamilah?"
"That's all you know."
"Yes right too, he's learning spirit and his work is amazing. I'm gonna have to be a drawin, too, embarrassed that he's a lot smarter."
"Thankfully aware. How, you still want to continue this work of yours, right?" ask Alex again.
"Continue, so I'm not the vice CEO intern right. Shame to cook with the internship frills."
"Not the deputy CEO, but the CEO who oversees the new airport development project department, and is also responsible for the development of the new business is in your hands" Papa explained.
"I? CEO??"
"Ga likes?"
"Likes, likes, likes." Jonathan nodded loudly. A second later he was pensive as if he was thinking about something.
"Why?"
"I also want to give a gift like a bonus to Jamilah who has helped me all this time. I want to give her a home in Grass Village, but I don't want her to know it's my gift."
Jonathan recalls the trip two months back during his work with Jamilah.
flashbacks
"You live here?" Jonathan could not hide his concern when he saw the state of his assistant's house.
That night it was raining quite hard, Jonathan drove Jamilah to his front house. Jamilah House is on the edge of the city with semi-permanent buildings. The barrier wall is in the form of wooden boards and zinc roofs that are installed soberly. The floor of the front of the house and the room, only in cement while the back is still in the form of soil.
"Can you stop by?" jonathan asked carefully afraid of offending.
"Can, but ..." Let's glance at his slightly sloping house.
"You can't and I'm interrupting nothing."
"May, but I'm sorry I couldn't bring anything."
"I didn't ask for anything, just wanted to stop by."
A very loud coughing sound was heard from the room which was only covered by a long cloth.
"Who?" whispered Jonathan.
"Mother ... lung cancer," said Jamilah slowly.
"Have you been taken to the doctor?"
"There has been a mantri puskesmas that routinely check on mothers," said Jamilah with a faint smile.
"Can I meet?" Let's nod a little doubtfully.
"Excuse me." Jonathan's voice was almost inaudible.
"Mom, this is Mr. Jonathan Marah's superior in the office." Let's sit on the edge of the bed. His hand was clutching an old hand that was already wrinkled.
The woman pulled both ends of her lips slightly. His eyes though were sunken but radiated the same radiance as his daughter.
"Mom's been a little hard talking, but can still hear."
"When you work, who takes care of you?"
"There's a neighbor who delivers food and cleans up Mom, I give my salary a little as his pay."
Jonathan could no longer afford to linger there. Tears were already at the end of his eye patch and ready to drip. He was very happy with the fear of flooding.
Arriving in the car, Jonathan drove his vehicle with tears continuing to go down without he could prevent. He did feel sorry for Jamilah's situation, but what made him sad and crying was that he felt his life for the 25th was in vain and passed away as if it was meaningless.
On one side of life there is a child who struggles only for a grain of rice and the survival of his parents, on the other hand he is spending money together with the women who only look at the thickness of his wallet.
Not long after returning from Jamilah's house, Jonathan prepared a house unit in Turf Village for Jamilah. The house he bought by borrowing funds in his own company, because if he relied on salary he still could not afford.
But unfortunately one week after his arrival to Jamilah's house, Ibu Jamilah left for good. Jonathan couldn't talk about the house.
flash back is complete
"House in Village Grass? use the funds you borrowed from the company?" Mr. Beni smiled obliquely.
"Hehehe," Jonathan could only laugh awkwardly, he was surprised his father knew if he borrowed company money.
"After you give him home, he stays alone?"
"Yes, his mother doesn't exist."
"Still young, not even 20 years of living in a big enough house." Mr. Beni seemed to think hard, "How much money did you borrow to buy the house?"
"850million."
"How long can you pay off the loan?"
"Eh, um .. depending on my new salary as CEO" Jonathan tweeted.
"Papa can have a great-grandchild maybe, then you can pay off your debt."
"Yes, Pa."
"Can, if your lifestyle does not change," said Papa firmly.
"I'm definitely changing, can you see for yourself these two months." Jonathan persisted.
"That's because you don't hold money, Papa dares to guarantee you will return to your bad habits after you hold a lot of money!"
"Certainly?? I can't pay off now, Pa. Cook I have to borrow the bank, be ashamed Pa. The sins!"
"Papa didn't ask you to borrow the bank. Papa asked you to cancel the purchase of the house."
"Lohs?! so I can't give you a gift with Jamilah? could've replaced the gift, but I think what she needs right now is a house, Pa. Papa, if you look at his house right now, pity Pa." Jonathan fervently lays out Jamilah's condition in order for his Papa to take pity as well.
"Papa believe. Papa agrees that the prize is better to replace."
"What's up, Pa?"
"Marriage ring?"
