Alex's car was still driving slowly because of the red light, just turned green. The impatient Hanum immediately opened the car door, and walked quickly towards the children sitting on the edge of the sidewalk.
"Hey, Hanum!" Alex was surprised when Hanum got out of the vehicle in a state of running car despite driving slowly.
Alex, who was already running his car when the traffic lights turned green, was confused looking for a gap to pull over.
FUCKIN' SHIT!
Alex hit the wheel of his car. While marginalizing his car, his eyes could not be separated from the rearview mirror observing where his wife was going. The sound of horn angry that he cut off their path, he no longer cared.
Alex immediately ran after Hanum after making sure his car did not disturb the other riders.
Alex finds his bewildered wife running to and fro among the crowded roadside shops.
"What are you looking for?!" Alex pulls Hanum's hand. He felt annoyed and worried because his wife suddenly jumped out of the car that was running.
"I saw Arif as Denok" said Hanum half-shouting.
"Who is that?"
"My sister's in the parlor. They were there, Mas. I'm close, but they're running." Hanum started crying hysterically. Some pedestrians have already started to notice them.
Alex held Hanum in his arms. He tried to calm his wife and muffle her cries so as not to attract the attention of others.
"We'll get to the car first." Alex tries to lead Hanum to the spot where he parked his vehicle.
"Ga wants to, I want to find them first. I'm sure they're not far from here." Hanum releases Alex's grip on her body.
Alex walked quickly trying to keep up with Hanum's wide stride.
"Num, already. You seem to have seen it wrong." Alex pulls Hanum's hand back. He saw his wife's pale face. The sweat was running down his temple and neck. Alex clasped tightly onto Hanum's cold hand.
"I'm sure, Mas. I know their faces." Hanum persisted and tried to release Alex's hand grip on his arm.
"You're still sick. We'll be here again looking for them huh" Alex persuaded.
"Ga can Mas, later they go further."
"Hanum hear me. We're going to the doctor now!" Alex tightened his grip.
An irritated Hanum punched Alex in the chest with his fists growing weaker and weaker.
A second later Hanum's body drooped weakly, Alex swiftly catching his wife's body before falling onto the pavement, "Hanum!"
"Why, Sir?"
"What's wrong?"
Some people around started to approach.
"Sir please my wife passed out, my car is there." Alex pointed to his car which he parked across the street.
The angkot and ojek driver helped to stop the vehicle, so Alex could cross with Hanum in his carrier.
"Thank you, sir," Alex said after putting Hanum in the car.
"Together, Sir. No need to give anything, we are sincere," said one of the taxi drivers, when Alex wanted to slip some money into his hands. Alex nodded his head and smiled.
Alex took his car a little faster towards the nearest hospital. With one hand, he rubbed the sweat dripping on Hanum's forehead. After that he clasped tightly, and occasionally kissed his wife's hand which was getting cold.
"Why are you so stubborn?" Alex glanced at Hanum who was still unconscious.
As soon as he reached the hospital, Alex stopped his car right in front of the lobby and asked the security personnel to immediately bring the patient bed.
"Where, Doc?" ask Alex impatiently at the doctor who works in the IGD room.
"Your wife is fine, maybe a little tired and lacking in vitamins. I also give a referral to check further to the SpOG doctor, after this directly there," said the doctor with glasses and immediately wrote something on a piece of paper.
Alex snatched the paper the doctor had given him, then immediately returned to Hanum's bed.
"The wife is conscious, sir. You can register with SpOG Doctor. It's at the end of this hallway. His wife's in a wheelchair, because she's still limp." A female nurse kindly explained and helped prepare Hanum to sit in a wheelchair.
"Check again" Alex said with a tense face. He was very worried if his wife got a diagnosis of a dangerous disease.
"I'm scared, Mom. What's my pain?" Hanum clasped Alex's hand as he pushed the wheelchair.
"There's me. Don't be afraid, yes" Alex said in a trembling voice. His eyes were busy reading the signage.
"Here?" hanum asked confusedly, "We're not in the wrong place?" ask again. Alex did not reply, he just stood gawking while holding the reference paper in his hand.
Slowly Alex approached the couple sitting at the very end and whispered, "Sorry this is Doctor Angga SpOG's practice room?" tanyanya while trying to read Latin writing written on paper.
"Yes right" replied the husband.
"What is this specialist doctor Angga?" ask again.
The husband and wife looked at each other and replied, "Reliance. Your wife is pregnant?"
Alex's mouth was wide open when he heard the husband and wife's answer. He who had thought Hanum was seriously ill, did not believe that his wife was pregnant.
"Eh, be-don't know yet. It's from the IGD, just passed out and kept being told to come here." Alex glanced at Hanum who was trying to hear from afar their conversation.
"Ow, it could be pregnant. Because the signs of pregnancy of each woman are different. Congratulations, Sir. Must be the first kid."
"She, I hope it's true." His smile grew with his chest beating happily.
Alex approaches Hanum after enlisting a nurse who stands guard at the front door of the practice room.
"Is this the place here?" ask Hanum.
Alex tried to hold his mouth back to not tell his wife if she was pregnant. Let the doctor say later.
Alex clasped Hanum's hand tightly, occasionally tucking Hanum's. His gaze could not be separated from Hanum's face which still looked pale.
"Why do you see that," said Hanum jengah.
"Want to see it all. Suddenly ran out of the car. I'm afraid you're missing, where else am I going?" Hanum's pale face gradually blushed hearing the extremely rare sweet sentence from Alex's lips.
A moment later he recalled his younger siblings whom he saw on the side of the road.
"Mas, this is over there again huh. I want to find them until we meet" Hanum said excitedly.
"Yes, yeah. After this," Alex said briefly, only to make Hanum calmer. However, he will make sure his wife will not get out of bed if proven pregnant.
