"Where is your relationship with Jamilah, Jo?" Mama's question with a probing look at breakfast, made the warm tea she drank almost spurt out.

"Well," Jonathan said briefly.

"You didn't bring him here for long."

"I'll take him home." Jonathan sped up his morning meal.

"How do you want to bring her here if you are busy with other women," said Mama with a cynical tone.

Jonathan's eyes caught the agitated movements of his sister-in-law. He could only curse and grumble in his heart. How could he believe last night that his brother-in-law, who was the same as the leaky bucket, could keep a secret.

"Stella, Mom. Not another woman" Jonathan said in self-defense.

"Mama knows her name, but she's still the other woman in your relationship, right?" Mom was adamant with her opinion. Jonathan did not dodge, he glanced at Hanum who was already moving towards the kitchen. Jonathan's mouth was locked tightly not intending to reply to his mother's sentence. The queen mother in the house if she thinks no one dares to deny.

As his mother turns her attention to Papa, Jonathan catches up with his sister-in-law who pretends to be busy washing dishes. Jonathan didn't say anything, he just glanced cynically while washing his hands.

"Sorry," Hanum's great-grandson. He still continued to look down unwilling to return the accusatory gaze from his sister-in-law.

"Don't blame Hanum, Mama for forcing him to tell." Mama catches up with Jonathan while carrying a dirty plate.

"Alright, you deny the same story Mama," whispered Jonathan sharply after making sure Mama had returned to the dining room.

"Last night Mama stopped me in front of the door, I have to do it if Mama's done it." Hanum put on a face.

"Yes, tell me you don't know" Jonathan said, "As my secret agreement leaked, your secret too Brother Alex should know," Jonathan threatened.

"Iiisssh, jangaan." Hanum held the hand of Jonathan who already wanted to immediately return to the dining room.

"Let's break even." Jonathan released Hanum's handrails and immediately walked out of the kitchen.

"Sister, last night someone sneaked into the kitchen." Jonathan opened his voice as he sat in front of his brother.

"Hmm." Alex responds briefly with his eyes fixed on his phone.

"Jooo," said Hanum. She was sitting next to her husband still trying to persuade her sister-in-law not to tell him about her misbehavior last night.

"Sister Hanum ate instant noodles," said Jonathan straightforwardly, not forgetting the triumphant smile plastered on his lips.

"I already know," said Alex flatly. Jonathan and Hanum looked at each other confusedly, "Your noisy voices in the kitchen, the scent of instant noodles that spread throughout the room all the way into the room, are enough to tell me what activities you were doing last night," alex remained with his expressionless face. His gaze did not at all switch from the screen of his phone.

"Well, law brother. Pity the baby candidate at the instant noodle feeding continues." Jonathan grew excited about burning his brother's emotions.

"Without you telling me to prepare." Alex raised his face from his phone, "Including you." The smile that was fixed wide on Jonathan's face instantly disappeared as Alex stared at him sharply.

"Kok me??"

"The only eyewitness you saw last night, why did you party?" Alex stood up from his seat casually, "I'm leaving first, don't forget this afternoon there is a meeting not to be absent again."

Hanum immediately approached Alex and kissed her husband on the back, muttering an apology.

"Other times if you want to sleep, brush your teeth first. The rest of the mustard in between your teeth, follow last night's report" whispered Alex.

...❤️🤍...

Jonathan moved uneasily, in front of him Alex sat looking at him sharply while the head of the marketing division conveyed the results of his team work.

His phone kept vibrating displaying Papa Stella's name. The last message that came in.

📩 Jo, come quickly. Stella cries and keeps looking for you

📩 I still have a meeting, Om

Reply messages from Papa Stella increasingly make Jonathan's heart unsettled. As he lifted his head, Alex's probing gaze felt nailed to his hips on the chair he was sitting on.

As soon as the meeting was declared over without command, Jonathan immediately walked out of the meeting room ahead of the others.

"Joe!" Alex's sharp voice halted his steps, "Even if you're my sister and even if Mama and Papa defend you if you can't put yourself in this company, I don't hesitate to fire you disrespectfully," threaten Alex.

"Sorry, Brother. I promise it won't be long" Jonathan said a little whining.

"It's an office, get used to using formal language" Alex said as he walked away.

"Sorry" said Jonathan. This kind of thing makes him not like to work using management structures. Moreover, this is a family company where the usual at home talk relaxed, but turned serious when in the office.

After sending a message to Cimoy, Jonathan immediately headed to the parking area while contacting Jamilah. Her mouth sighed in annoyance, as her cell phone call was not answered by her lover. Jonathan immediately escapes his car towards where Jamilah works.

Meanwhile, when entering work, Jamilah was surprised to find the young man who occupied his apartment, sitting in a friendly conversation with Pak Reno, the manager of the restaurant in the employee area.

"Hi" said the young man in a friendly manner as he saw Jamilah enter the employee room.

"Known?" ask Mr. Reno.

"Know" said the young man quickly.

"It's good to know, so you can help them learn." Jamilah did not give any response, he just glanced while putting his bag and jacket in the locker.

"Who?" he whispered as Mr. Reno passed by next to him.

"He's a friend of Mr. Jason's who owns this restaurant. Want to study a few weeks here, plan to open a restaurant also in the city."

"Where do we start .. uh, whose name you are, yesterday you did not mention the name." The young man extended his hand.

"Smon." Jamilah clenched his hands together in front of his chest, refusing the young man's hand.

"I'm Kendra, but call me Ndra. I don't like being called Ken ... Ken," said the young man, lowering his hand.

Over time, Kendra is supple and friendly, getting familiar with all the employees at the restaurant including Jamilah.

During the break Jamilah and several other friends including Kendra, sat in a cubicle reserved exclusively for employees located outside the restaurant. Let the last one come straight to open his lunch and devour in haste.

"I'm with you, there's no need to rush" Kendra said as Jamilah choked.

"Ga good like everyone else, the break is over."

"It's nothing, 'is it a lot of people know that too."

"Yes, it's still not good" said Jamilah with a full mouth.

"You look like my friend" said Kendra with eyes open.

"Your girl?"

"Not." Kendra chuckled softly and shook her head, "It's what it is, but I don't deserve it" Kendra continued with faint eyes.

"Why?"

"I don't have anything .. I'm nobody" Kendra said sadly.

While the two of them were conversing, there was a pair of eyes that were staring at the two full of anger.
