As soon as the elevator door opened, the beautiful, shoulder-haired secretary greeted her, "Mother is waiting for you inside, please." The secretary opened the door to Mr. Eko's office.
"Thank you" said Hanum, looking down politely.
Hanum walked in and stood in the middle of the room. His step was stopped when he saw Ane sitting in front of Mr. Eko's table. Hanum did not think that the flirtatious woman was present this afternoon.
"Please sit down, Hanum." Mr. Eko opened his glasses and leaned his body onto the back of the chair.
"How are you, Hanum?" greet Mr. Eko.
"Well," said Hanum briefly.
He looked at the woman sitting next to him. Ane is still loyal to her minimal and tight clothes. The woman seemed indifferent to his arrival. Ever since Hanum came and sat beside her, Ane had only been busy with the nail ornaments on her fingers.
"Thank God if it's okay. You certainly miss your family at the parlour, don't you, Hanum?"
"What should I do," shoot Hanum directly.
"Hehehe, you're a very impatient man. I admit you are brave and swift, the proof is that you managed to trick Alex and his family to become the son-in-law of Mr. Beni, the conglomerate," said Mr. Eko cynically. Ane who was sitting next to him also laughed cynically.
"Where is my family?" ask Hanum impatiently.
"They are safe and sound. Don't you worry." Mr. Eko showed some pictures of his younger brothers.
Hanum observed the photos in his hands, at first glance there was nothing strange in the photos. But Hanum felt something different from the look on the faces of his younger siblings. Since baby and toddler Hanum helped Mother Anita take care of them, obviously Hanum is very familiar with their facial mimic.
"Where are they now? Where's Mother Anita, I don't see my mother in any of the photos?" Hanum flipped through the photo sheet in a panic.
"Calm Hanum, don't rush. Let's have a casual conversation, okay?"
"I want to see them now, sir," Hanum half-begged.
"You want to see them soon, so you know what you have to do?"
Hanum. He recalled that when he came to the home with Alex, an unknown number called him. Hanum is shocked when Papa Alex's best friend contacts him, out of nowhere the man gets his number.
Mr. Eko asks Hanum to keep their conversation secret on the phone, if Hanum wants to know where his family is located and immediately meets him in the office alone.
Although with heart, he had to follow the flow of the game Pak Eko. I want to share it with the man who is now her husband. But the guilt still lingered in his heart.
He was increasingly convinced that what happened to his family all due to his selfishness. Just because of his obsession with Alex, Anita's mother and her sisters who do not know anything must be difficult because of his actions.
"But it can't be that fast" Hanum said slowly.
"Why can't you?" Ane turned to Hanum with a cynical look, "You think Alex is crazy about you? the dream!" Hanum remained silent despite wanting to answer Ane's taunts, as the current focus was only one. His mother and younger brothers.
