No one knew the whereabouts of Yang Shu and Yang Fu, this made the entire populace feel anxious because their Emperor disappeared. The Empress Dowager gave the order to search for the Emperor as well as the prince, she only wanted Yang Shu to tell the whole people that she had abdicated from the Emperor's throne.
If Yang Shu left like this, then the entire populace would still consider him the Emperor of the Northern Continent. And not a single prince, not even the crown prince could have occupied the throne if Yang Shu had not given his edict.
The Queen Mother and the Empress actually wanted to kill Yang Shu, but the former Emperor gave an edict that said that if Yang Shu lost his life, so all those who oppose Yang Shu's appointment as a substitute for him are guilty. And the seat of the empire would not be handed over to any prince in the palace.
This information made the Queen Mother and the others unable to commit murder to Yang Shu. Although Yang Shu would later die of her own guilt, the Queen Mother and the others would still be found guilty.
The Northern Continent actually had two imperial regions. Yang Shu's departure made the Northern Continent boisterous. The entire place was explored to find the Young Emperor, even as they searched all the way to the Other Continent. Yet Yang Shu and Yang Fu seemed to be engulfed by the earth, they were nowhere to be found.
No one knew that the Young Emperor and his brother were hiding in the most remote region of the Eastern Continent. While traveling, Yang Shu and Yang Fu had to split up, due to their escape having many obstacles.
The search for the Queen Mother and the others stopped after 10 years. The throne was again occupied by the old Emperor, there was no news or evidence of the death of Yang Shu and his brother.
In the Eastern Continent, Yang Fu met a white flow cultivator, he was then appointed to become a member of the Silver Bamboo Sect. Meanwhile, Yang Shu lived in a most remote village in the region of the Rising Sun Empire.
These villagers did not initially know that Yang Shu was the Emperor, they treated Yang Shu like an ordinary young man. This ordinary, even simple life originally made Yang Shu difficult. But over time he got used to it.
Several times he went out of the village with a villager to help sell potatoes to other places, on the way Yang Shu met many people including the cultivators.
He also heard about the news of his quest, but the news was quickly covered with the history story of the Eastern Continent chaos caused by a Black Flow Cultivator, the Destroying Star.
This story seemed to save Yang Shu, because it did not take long until the news of his search was not heard anymore.
Yang Shu realized he lived in a place where strength was everything, many demonic beasts and evil humans could have threatened his life. Yang Shu has never fought a war, wielding a sword, including what Shu rarely does.
The story about the Destroying Star made Yang Shu have the desire to become a cultivator. He is not sure, but it's good to try first.
Surprisingly, Yang Shu turned out to have the talent to become a cultivator. At the age of eighteen, Yang Shu met Huan Fei. This person he helped became his best friend, an adventure that Yang Shu had never imagined was passed by him and Huan Fei.
And even one of his adventures brings Yang Shu together with a girl who will become his wife.
Huan Fei only found out that this friend of his was an Emperor when Yang Shu mentioned his surname. There was no 'Yang' clan in the Eastern Continent, this made Huan Fei realize that his best friend was an Emperor. Despite knowing this was big news, Huan Fei kept it a secret.
Yang Shu told him everything, he did not cover anything at all. Yang Shu's story rounded up Huan Fei's determination to protect his best friend. This was also one of the resolve that pushed Huan Fei to become stronger and have an important influence in his sect in the future, so that he had the power to protect Yang Shu and his family from the attacks of the Imperial court warriors of the Northern Continent.
Years passed, the birth of Yang Shu's son made the entire village so happy. But the joy did not last long because Yang Shu's wife did not survive after giving birth to her son.
Yang Shu's wife is actually a kara girl, helped by Yang Shu during his village's fire. Only the girl survived the tragedy. Just how much hardship and sorrow this girl was going through, made Yang Shu determined to make her happy.
Unfortunately, fate says something else. Instead of being happy, Yang Shu often put the girl in danger. Because of his every adventure with Huan Fei, this girl was always with them.
The villagers tried to make Yang Shu insoluble in grief. Yang Shu's son was then cared for and given affection by the entire village, making Yang Hao grow up without a lack of a mother's love. Even Yang Hao never felt alone at all, the citizens of Tani Village were so very kind to him.
Yang Hao only learned of Yang Shu's background after he was 17 years old. Yang Shu said that the Throne of Emperor belonged to Yang Hao now, he felt unworthy to be Emperor again.
Yang Hao was of course perplexed, he couldn't possibly come to the Northern Continent and directly occupy the throne just like that. Not to mention Yang Shu's escape made him convinced that he was just driving his life there.
Yang Shu asked his son to go to the Northern Continent because he was worried about the current state of the people of the Northern Continent. It's been years since his escape, I don't know what happened to his entire people.
Yang Hao said he had to become strong first and let fate rule his fate.
Every year, right on the day of Yang Hao's birth... Yang Shu always asked if Yang Hao was ready to go to the Northern Continent now, yet Yang Hao only gave the same reason. That he's still not strong enough.
Even when Yang Hao had married Xiao WeiWei, Yang Shu still asked him.
Yang Hao also said that the reason why Yang Shu fled was because many people refused to become Emperor. If they knew that Yang Shu and himself were here, then the people of Tani Village would be in danger.
The proof that currently Yang Shu was still hiding was himself, Yang Hao had always been forbidden to come out of the village and not carelessly say his clan to foreigners.
Yang Hao accepted the ban and indeed preferred to be in the village rather than outside. But that doesn't mean his son will be like him. That was why to protect his son, Yang Hao gave his wife surname to use to his daughter 'Lu'.
Yang Hao asked that the Father respect his decision, and this made Yang Shu feel proud of him. It is better that the 'Yang' clan should not develop in the Eastern Continent, they might be found out.
The lives of Yang Shu and Yang Hao were very quiet in Tani Village, although in fact Yang Shu and Yang Hao still bore the burden of the people of the Northern Continent.
Yang Shu and Yang Hao often talked about this, although Yang Shu continued to persuade him but Yang Hao remained unconvinced of wanting to leave. The two of them were also unlikely to hand over to Xiao Lu, as Xiao Lu was still too small.
Yang Shu said that this was his grandson's decision later, they couldn't keep it a secret from this little girl. Yang Shu would tell the truth after his grandson was ripe.
The second birth of Xiao WeiWei, made Yang Hao and Yang Shu argue about naming this baby boy. Yang Hao did not want his son to be given a name that could burden him in the Eastern Continent, while Yang Shu felt that the name was perfect for his grandson.
Surprisingly, the baby boy Yang Hao held laughed as Yang Shu gave him the name 'Shuxiang', while he cried loudly as Yang Hao, The Father gave him the name 'Chen'.
The villagers were also confused by this, they actually did not agree with the name Yang Shu pinned on his grandson. Because the name is a reminder of the Chaos that existed in the Eastern Continent first.
But whatever name was given to this baby boy, still he would cry loudly. It was as if this baby had already decided on his own name.
Yang Shu laughed out loud, he had an amazing grandson. He was sure, this grandson of his would bring a good change to the Eastern Continent, and it could be that this grandson of his would remove the burden on his back and Yang Hao.
