XIAO SHUXIANG'S

XIAO SHUXIANG'S
40 - Formation of Dantian [Revised]

Xiao Shuxiang had been in the kitchen for quite a while, until she finally decided to return to her room. His mood was much better, it was time to carry out his original plan of replacing the dantian.

"Don't forget Uncle's teaching, you should be a great chef in the future!"

"That's right Xiao'Er, better to be a chef than a Swordsman...!"

"Frequently come here well...!"

Xiao Shuxiang shook his head softly with a smile when he heard the words of the cooks, he then stepped away towards his room which was on the second floor.

"Why choose one... I will be a chef and a swordsman...!"

Upon entering his room, Xiao Shuxiang did not see anyone. Though he had thought that his classmates had come home from a walk in the city.

"It seems they forgot to come home. Good riddance! I can change my dantian now."

Xiao Shuxiang started to take a comfortable cross-legged sitting position on one of the outskirts of the bed. He then closed his eyes, trying to focus his mind on absorbing Qi.

The process of replacing the dantian requires a lot of Qi and not a little time. Not only that, the risk of replacing the dantian in a bad mood and without the help of others is... Deaths.

Even if the human could survive, he would experience permanent paralysis and could not cultivate anymore. Therefore, doing a dantian change requires careful preparation, one of which is the heart must be calm and must not be agitated.

Xiao Shuxiang could feel the Qi around him entering his body slowly. He then directed the Qi into his dantian, simultaneously holding the Qi back from leaking out.

It was actually the first time that Xiao Shuxiang had done the dantian switching process. Because in his first life, he had a special dantian that was immediately formed when he was born. You could say, Xiao Shuxiang was a special child.

Xiao Shuxiang's face looked pale, sweat formed on his forehead, he was as much as possible to continue focusing.

The way to do this dantian change is to absorb Qi into the body then collect it in the dantian while breaking the old dantian and making a new dantian.

"Ukh! I didn't expect it to hurt like this...!"

This process must be done simultaneously. Peace of mind, Qi control and enduring pain when the dantian was gradually broken were the things Xiao Shuxiang should do now.

Little fear or interference from others, Xiao Shuxiang could lose his life. This was because the pain of performing a dantian switch was inconceivable.

Slowly, the dantian within Xiao Shuxiang's body cracked bit by bit.

Blood came out from both corners of her lips, she was anxious to scream because of the pain she felt.

"I had to try to speed up the process before the pain could not be contained anymore..."

The cracks in his dantian are getting more and more.

Blood now not only came out from the corner of his lips, but also out from his nose. Xiao Shuxiang's face turned blue, he felt his heart beat slower, even seeming to stop.

Xiao Shuxiang could feel his life almost being detached from the body. Simultaneously, the dantian within his body exploded and made blood increasingly flow out from his mouth, nose, even ears.

The dantian explosion within Xiao Shuxiang's body made the Qi he absorbed and collected spread throughout the body. The next second, the Qi regrouped and began to solidify in the same place as his old dantian.

A new dantian was now formed, looking much more perfect than his old dantian.

This new dantian has a clear white color and is much larger than its usual size. Qi started to enter and filled the dantian, making the color sky blue. This was a common color for the Qi that was successfully stored within the dantian.

Xiao Shuxiang's face and the pain he felt slowly faded. He immediately lay limp, his energy and mentality drained a lot.

This was because when his dantian cracked, Xiao Shuxiang recalled his last battle with the elders of the three-flow sect. Almost broke his concentration because of that memory.

Xiao Shuxiang slowly regulated his breathing, both of his hands trembling and feeling cold. "Well... Justjust wonderful. I've heard that the process of changing the dantian feels like the stomach and chest are split, then the breastbone is lifted slowly and then broken. Huh... I can't believe I can breathe now."

The risk in the change of dantian is very large, because that is why most people who want to make a change of dantian ask for help from others.

But keep in mind that despite getting help from others, the pain will not go away.

And again, the concentration needed and trust in colleagues must be great. If the person doing the dantian switch hesitated towards his friend, then he would fail.

Xiao Shuxiang could not yet trust Yang Shu, even though Yang Shu was his grandfather. He also could not trust Gu Ta Sian, the person he just met.

Xiao Shuxiang continued to lie down, he was not even aware that he was asleep.

Elsewhere, precisely in a vast-field-Jing Mi, Qi Xuan and Xiao Lu were seen training alongside Zong Ming and Ying Liu.

This field is commonly used for festival events that are often organized by the Lotus Leaf City. Only, the current field looked silent and desolate-a suitable place to practice swordsmanship.

Zong Ming explained the basics of sword training, ranging from the function of a sword used only to help people to how to hold and swing a sword.

"Beautiful Brother Lu, the way to hold your sword is wrong. You must hold it firmly, lest the sword escape you..." Zong Ming was seen directing Xiao Lu, he was so serious about teaching this girl.

Somehow since when, Zong Ming had come to call Xiao Lu by the name of 'Beautiful Brother Lu', not only him, but Ying Liu had also called Xiao Lu like that.

Zong Ming taught his three new friends some of his sword techniques, he also apologized for not being able to teach the moves of his sect because these three friends were not from the Silver Bamboo Sect.

Even so, Qi Xuan, Jing Mi and Xiao Lu remained happy that they had gained new knowledge.

Zong Ming now directed his friends to compete with each other, this time the first one to start was himself with Jing Mi.

"Brother Jing, please help." Zong Ming saluted before starting to put up his horses.

Jing Mi who saw Zong Ming's behavior while saluting him looked puzzled because to her knowledge-Yang Shu had never taught Jing Mi to salute the opponent before a fight.

"This seems to be a warrior's rule..." Jing Mi did not want to bother, she also did the same which was to pay respect to Zong Ming.

The two began to prepare, Zong Ming used his sword while Jing Mi borrowed Ying Liu's sword.

Jing Mi could feel Ying Liu's sword heavier and sharper than her sword, a feeling of doubt and fear began to envelop her heart.

He was afraid of injuring his new friend with this clean and shiny sword in his hand. Zong Ming could see the hesitation of the friend in front of him.

"Brother Jing, don't be afraid...!" Ying Liu tried to encourage Jing Mi, as well as Zong Ming who convinced her not to hesitate in swinging the sword.

"Brother Jing, there's no need to worry. Think of me as your enemy, come on...!"

Jing Mi closed her eyes as she took a deep breath, she tried to calm herself down. When he opened his eyes, Jing Mi immediately looked at Zong Ming and nodded steadily, as if saying she was ready to regard Zong Ming as an enemy.

Zong Ming smiled as he nodded, he then fixed his position and began to show a serious expression.

In the next instant, Zong Ming immediately ran over quickly and pointed his sword right in front of Jing Mi.

The traaang!

The sound of their swords clashing, Zong Ming attacked Jing Mi with considerable force, which made Jing Mi exert all her strength to resist Zong Ming's attacks.

If Zong Ming had not said that the sword should not have slipped out of hand, perhaps the current Jing Mi had already split into two.

Jing Mi could feel her hands ache and tremble, she then attempted to push Zong Ming away by using a kick on his right leg.

Zong Ming relaxed his attack pattern, "It seems, I was too excited just now. I forgot that Brother Jing just learned..."

The fight resumed, this time Jing Mi attacked Zong Ming first. He used his sect sword technique that had been added with the sword technique taught by granny Tian.

The traaang!

Jing Mi's attack power was not as strong as Zong Ming's, but Jing Mi's speed and technique surpassed Zong Ming's expectations.

"The movement is weird...!" Zong Ming continued to dodge and fend off the attacks from Jing Mi. He tried to analyze every attack addressed to him.

"His attacks seem messy. There were some repetitive movements that Brother Jing made as he twisted his body, ducked down and attacked my feet. But still I can't guess how many moves he's making. What is the way this boy fights...? It feels so wild..."

During this time that Zong Ming understood, the movements in a stance had their own sequence. Unlike Jing Mi's current sword movement.

The traaang!

Qi Xuan, Xiao Lu and Ying Liu continued to pay attention to the fight between Jing Mi and Zong Ming, the three of them also did not expect that Jing Mi had such a strange move so quickly.

Qi Xuan, "Did Brother Jing not feel exhausted making such a quick move...?"

Xiao Lu, "Jing Mi learned that strange move from where?"

Qi Xuan and Xiao Lu felt perplexed and astonished when they saw Jing Mi fight with Zong Ming. The two of them had never seen Jing Mi that stout before.

Qi Xuan, "Although a little, Brother Jing looks like a swordsman..."

Zong Ming somehow no longer tried to hold back his strength, he started to give Jing Mi an attack with a smile.

"Brother Jing, I salute your breathing technique...!"

The traaang..!

It is true, doing fast movements without stopping will not be able to do without good breathing.

The breathing technique that Jing Mi used was a technique of her own creation, this was the result of her understanding of the words and explanations of Grandma Tian while she was in the Traveling Lodge.

Tian's grandmother once said that creating a style is difficult but not impossible, and it keeps ringing in Jing Mi's mind.

Moreover, when he recalled the sword movement that Xiao Shuxiang had made, he felt that creating a move that Grandma Tian had said was not entirely difficult.

During this time, every trip... Jing Mi had always been amazed by Xiao Shuxiang. Children who are younger than himself have great talent and energy, outside of his dantian disability.

"Brother Xiao never complained while in the Dry Grassland, nor did he feel the slightest loss of consciousness under such a scorching sun. Even Brother Xiao bravely fought the Silver Horned Wolf alone, I must not lose to him...!"

The traaang..!
