Of the five continents in existence, the Central Continent was the largest. The harbor in this place was the main center of the merchants on various continents.
The Central Continent was divided into three regions of the Empire, compared to cultivators.. This place is inhabited by more warriors.
Out of a hundred, only 15% Qi could be absorbed directly from nature, and that too was within a certain location. Arguably, this continent was more favorable for warriors who were unable to cultivate.
The ship that was riding Xiao Shuxiang and his companions docked in the territory of the Middle Sky Empire, one of the largest ports on the continent.
Tap
Tap
"Just like any other port, this place is very noisy," Xiao Shuxiang muttered as he stepped down the ship, watching the many people passing by and the merchants who seemed to be eager to sell his merchandise.
"This peace is natural for the port of Young Master,"
Hu Li was seen walking behind Xiao Shuxiang, he was carrying the slumbering O Zhan. Xiao Qing Yan himself was behind him and appeared to go hand in hand with Kong Wu.
"Son, if you may know, where are you going after this?" Kong Wu asked Xiao Qing Yan and was immediately answered by the short-haired child that he and his friends were going to go to the location where the map of the Central Continent was.
".. We will also go to the Sky Pagoda Sect. What about you Uncle?"
"I will take care of the crew of this ship before continuing my journey towards the Northern Sky Empire. There's something you should know, son. The Middle Continent is harder than where you live. As much as possible, you and your friends don't go looking for trouble with warriors on this continent,"
Kong Wu also told the location where Xiao Qing Yan could find a map of the Middle Continent, it was apparently a place called the Moon Sandalwood Association.
Xiao Shuxiang and Hu Li also listened to Kong Wu's explanation. They gained new knowledge and one of them was the language of the people in the Central Continent different from the other Continents.
".. You also have to be careful in using Qi. There were many places in this Continent whose Qi could not be absorbed. Demonic Beasts were also extremely rare in this place. The Middle Continent was much more detrimental to cultivators,"
Xiao Shuxiang and Hu Li had indeed since set foot on the ground of the Middle Continent.. Both of them feel strange. They seemed to be unable to sense the Qi in nature, this would indeed be difficult if the two would have to fight later. The only option is that they should not get into any trouble.
"Master Kong Wu, we don't know much Master, but thank you for being willing to give us an explanation,"
Xiao Shuxiang was so polite in speaking, he asked Kong Wu to be able to take good care of his health. He also thanked Kong Wu for helping Xiao Qing Yan fight against the pirates.
"Young Master Xiao, I'm actually not very helpful, it's you who did it.." Kong Wu smiled before continuing his words.
".. Are you all right? You ate 'that cooking', right?"
!!
Xiao Shuxiang was instead reminded of the cooking Nin Gao had eaten. "I'm fine, but until now I still can't believe I actually ate it. Then we'll go first,"
Xiao Shuxiang, Hu Li, and Xiao Qing Yan saluted. The three then walked away leaving Kong Wu.
"Young Master, doesn't your stomach hurt?" Hu Li looked worried, as far as he knew.. His Young Master Xiao had never eaten human flesh.
".. Skinning a human alive is a common sight for me when you do, but eating their flesh.."
"Hu Li, you don't keep talking about it. You make your master feel like he's already a terrible person.." Xiao Shuxiang continued to walk side by side with Hu Li and Xiao Qing Yan.
".. Listen to me Hu Li. If asked to choose, I would rather eat human flesh than b*b*."
"Isn't that natural because you have Uncle Raise a Demonic Beast in the form of b*b*?"
"His name is Tian Feng,"
Xiao Shuxiang took out his White Jade Flute and began to play around with it while telling Hu Li about his adoptive uncle.
Xiao Qing Yan himself had since just been silent and seemed to be unconcerned about Xiao Shuxiang's conversation. He focused on paying attention to the traders and the crowd around him.
"Do you know the way to the Moon Sandalwood Association?"
Xiao Qing Yan started to open his voice, he looked at Xiao Shuxiang and Hu Li with eyes that seemed to need answers.
"I don't know. But Mr. Kong Wu said the Association was not far away in this place. We just need to ask someone,"
Xiao Shuxiang asked Hu Li to inquire about the location of the Moon Sandalwood Association's whereabouts. The white-haired youth and was carrying O Zhan nodded.
Hu Li then walked over to one of the merchants selling vegetables. He questioned a 40-year-old man wearing a yellow vest.
This merchant was already familiar with the language of the people in the Eastern Continent, hence he was able to communicate well to the handsome-looking white-haired young man.
Hu Li thanked him and immediately invited his Young Master Xiao to continue the journey. After three turns, they finally arrived in front of a three-story building.
Many decorations in the form of small flags in the form of semicircles in red and white on the building. The three immediately stepped in and met an Association official who was on guard.
The female employee dressed in white with the leaf pattern noticed three new customers. He showed a smile that was so friendly even though in his heart he was quite surprised.
During this time the female employee always got a middle-aged, bearded, and thick mustache male customer. Several times he also arrived old women, married young men, and muscular men with ordinary faces.
"This young man has an adorable face, he looks cute with his white hair.."
!!
"Life, it was only this first time that I saw the smile of a handsome man with a clean face. Usually men like this are very difficult to smile and always put a flat face and a cold gaze. She's so charming.."
??
Xiao Shuxiang was astonished that the female employee before him kept looking at him without saying anything.
"Why is this beautiful girl? Is there something wrong with my face?"
"Handsome.."
Xiao Shuxiang gasped when he heard the slow muttering of the female employee in front of him. From the look on the face of the association employee in front of him.. He could tell that this woman was fascinated by him.
Xiao Shuxiang scratched his cheek softly and started calling the Beautiful Miss in front of him. The woman flinched and then apologized.
The beautiful woman's cheeks scrawled, honestly she felt very embarrassed. He then noticed the clothes of the young man in front of him who looked like clothes from the Northern Continent, but when calling himself earlier these young men used the language of the inhabitants of the Eastern Continent.
In this woman's heart of relief, she felt her mutter was unknown to the two young men in front of her. This was because he was using the language of the Middle Continent.
".. Young Master, please. Our association has many heirloom objects as well as herbs. If I may know, Young Master is looking for what heirloom?"
Xiao Shuxiang was lucky because the associate clerk he met was able to speak the same language as him. He unhesitatingly asked about the map of the Middle Continent.
"Young Master, the map of the Middle Continent is not for sale. But you can see it, let me deliver.."
"Thank you,"
Xiao Shuxiang, Hu Li, and Xiao Qing Yan followed the association's servants to a deeper place in this building. Every now and then they see some customers who are warriors and seem to choose various heirlooms.
It didn't take long until Xiao Shuxiang and his friends were at where the map of the Central Continent was located.
"Easily this map of the continent is not traded. The paper's too big,"
Xiao Shuxiang watched the map that lay within a glass coffin. He so seriously stared at his every detail beside Hu Li asking how far this place with the Sky Pagoda Sect was with the Association employees.
"If you pass through the usual streets, you have to go through four major cities. The journey by train takes approximately twenty days,"
"Is there a quickest way?"
The association employee paused for a moment before pointing a small line at the map of the Central Continent and saying that the fastest way was to pass through the Silent Land Forest.
".. The place is rarely traversed because of its difficult paths and often becomes a hotbed of robbers. It's best for Young Master to go through the usual path."
Hu Li was speechless when he heard the explanation of the Association employee, he then turned his head towards his Young Master Xiao who still seemed to be watching the map of the Central Continent so closely.
"Young Master, what do you think?"
Xiao Shuxiang closed his eyes softly, he was trying to depict the map of the Middle Continent in more detail in his mind. In three breaths.. His eyes are back open.
"We're going through that forest." Xiao Shuxiang had already decided, ".. Miss Beautiful, thank you. But did you sell horses? I need two tails,"
The association employee though gasped as the handsome young man in front of him did not heed his ban.. But he was unable to do anything.
"I'll get ready soon, sir."
The associate official immediately left, he left Xiao Shuxiang and his friends who still seemed to be talking.
?
"Well, do you want to buy something?"
Xiao Shuxiang looked at Xiao Qing Yan, the 10-year-old noticed a long sword with its blade blue in the sea.
"No. I'm not interested in buying anything,"
Xiao Qing Yan held a small katana handle tucked in his right waist. He then stepped out of the association building and was followed by his friends.
Two black-brown horses worth 5,000 gold pieces were waiting for them outside the building.
Xiao Shuxiang had bargained for the price and apparently got a little friend's price. He then rode a horse with Xiao Qing Yan. Meanwhile, Hu Li rode the other horse while holding O Zhan in his left hand.
They immediately set off towards the Forest of the Silent Land, where Xiao Shuxiang was the pointer.
The sound of their horses went hand in hand with the crowd. Several times Xiao Shuxiang passed by the horse carriage until he and Hu Li were on the path whose left side was a river and the other side was a meadow.
The river water looks clear and the flow is so calm, there are shady trees on the banks. It was a calming place and very suitable to be alone, yet Xiao Shuxiang and Hu Li seemed to be uninterested.
They continued to race horses regardless that the calmness of the water was unlike the condition of the village they had to pass through before arriving in the Forest of Silent Land.
