Womb of Titipan

Womb of Titipan
Heavy Rain.

As fast as lightning Dani pushed Axel even stronger to the back to stay away from Aaric.

"What do you want?" dani asked whispering very angrily gripping the collar of Axel's shirt.

"I just want Aaric to know the truth." Axel replied staring at Dani.

Dani tightened her hand grip.

"He's married, knowing the real circumstances of Dance won't do any good." Dani manages to pull Axel out of the cafe.

Both of them had now been outside the Cafe, Axel tidying up his messy collar.

"You know about Dance?" ask Axel.

"I know!" answer Dani quickly.

"Aaric should also know, so as not to be prejudiced against me and Tari anymore."

Dani shook her head.

"Don't! It'll only make her confused, she's married, don't ruin the happiness she just got, you don't know how much she suffered after Dance dumped her."

"Dari didn't dump her, she was forced to do that to keep Aaric from knowing her illness, she didn't want Aaric to see her sickly self."

"Then why do you want to tell Aaric now?"

"Hearing the news of Aaric's marriage, the condition of Dance got worse. I feel sorry for him."

Dani sighed.

"It's not that I don't empathize with the condition of Dance, but I'm sure even if Aaric knew the truth wouldn't help much, either, it would even make Aaric slumped and the household he had just built would also be a mess."

Axel was silent for a moment.

"But at least if Aaric knew the true state of Dance, he would no longer hate her and straighten out any misunderstandings all along."

"Before Aaric met his wife maybe his heart was filled with hatred for the two of you, but I'm sure if now he could have forgotten about her, I'm sure that Aaric no longer thinks of you. The past five years Aaric has suffered enough from the misunderstandings you've made, so for now let Aaric feel his happiness,"

Axel looked sad.

"alright. You're right! The last five years must have been tough for him. Her own best friend had been having an affair with her future fiance. Sometimes I regret why I wanted to when I was invited to play the infidelity drama until you guys stayed away and hated me too."

Dani's approaching Axel.

"Now that I know what's really going on, I'm sorry." Dani embraces Axel.

"You know, I really miss reuniting with you, Aaric and Ryan." Axel sounded sad.

Dani patted his best friend's shoulder.

---

"Where's Axel? What does he mean by theatrical?" aaric asked when Dani had just entered back into the Cafe.

"Two are gone. I don't know, maybe he just wants to find an excuse for what he's done with Tari" Dani replied.

Ryan looked at Dani's face, knowing that there was something hidden from him.

While Aaric immediately showed his upset face hearing Dani's answer.

"You're right, now he wants to pretend that what he and Tari have done to me is a charade. He thought I'd easily trust him."

Aaric returned to the office still carrying his feelings of regret, his meeting with Axel made his mood today deteriorate.

He busied himself doing some work before soon having to lead the meeting.

Suddenly her phone rang, her mouth grinning knowing that Naina was calling her.

"Yes dear." Aaric leaned his body against the back of the chair.

"Am I bothering you?" ask Naina on the other end of the phone.

"Not at all. What was? Tumben once you call first."

"What time are you home today?"

"It seems a bit late, I have some meetings and meetings with clients. Why why?"

"I want to ask permission to go to the Panti now to deliver our wedding reception invitation letter and there are some needs of the children of the orphanage purchased by the mother must be delivered there immediately, the mother who was going to leave, the mother who was going to leave, but he seems to be not feeling well" replied Naina.

Aaric looked at his watch.

"Alright, but don't stay over."

"No. I'll be home soon, you'll be home tonight I'm home again."

Aaric smiled.

"I am too." Naina hung up.

Aaric smiled as he looked at the mobile screen, staring at the photo of Naina that he took secretly while they were on the yacht, his wife looked very beautiful with messy hair blown by the sea breeze.

Hearing his wife's voice make his mood improve again, Aaric resumed his work with more enthusiasm.

Heavy rain accompanied Naina all the way to the orphanage, making the driver who was driving the car drive slowly considering the limited visibility.

As a result it took a long time for Naina to arrive at the orphanage, making her restless for fear of being late to return home, let alone the heavy rain that never subsided.

"You stay over, the rain is still very heavy, and soon after night, it is dangerous to drive in the rain especially at night." farida's mother advises when she sees Naina who keeps looking out the window.

"Call your husband and tell him you're staying over and will be back tomorrow morning" Farida's mother continued.

Naina complies with her mother's advice, she immediately picks up the phone in her bag and immediately tries to contact her husband.

But many times on the phone, Aaric did not lift it.

"I forgot if he said today he had an important meeting and meeting, his phone must have been silent" Naina said.

"Call your in-laws first, tell him you have to stay overnight, after that tell your driver to eat first, I'll tell Sumi's mother to prepare a room for him."

Naina nodded.

After the meeting with important clients followed by a dinner together, Aaric hurried away from the luxurious restaurant followed by Julian behind him.

Aaric walked towards the lobby of the restaurant while checking his phone, he was surprised to see the many phone calls from Naina that he had not picked up.

Aaric called his wife back.

"Dear, you called me a few times, I was in a meeting" Aaric said as Naina picked up her phone.

"I just wanted to let you know if I can't go home, it's raining, mom told me to stay the night."

Aaric immediately stopped his steps, he then looked out where it was raining heavily there.

"I thought you were home." Aaric's voice sounded disappointed, he stood in the lobby of the restaurant as he waited for Julian to prepare his car.

"sorry. Actually I want to go home but my mother forbid me because the road here is prone to landslides if it rains heavily, not to mention many trees that fall because the wind is strong."

"Your mother's right. You better stay there,"

"Are you just coming home?" ask Naina.

"Yes." Yeah."

"Are you angry?"

"No. I'm just sad because tonight's gonna sleep without hugging you."

Naina smokes a smile.

"Me too" said Naina softly.

"I've missed you now."

Naina smiled back.

"I am too."

Both are smiling.

"I'll call you back when I get home."

"Yes. Be careful on the road."

At half-eleven in the evening Naina was still not asleep, seemed agitated by occasionally looking at her phone, waiting for her husband's phone which he said would call immediately if it had reached home.

But for almost two hours Aaric had not called him, his phone was not picked up, making Naina think that maybe her husband was sleeping so tired, it could have been like that considering she knew exactly the habits of her husband who easily fell asleep.

Naina then opened the window curtain of her room, seeing the heavy rain that from that afternoon still did not give a sign of stopping, she then closed the curtains and prepared to sleep.

But suddenly he was startled by the sound of knocking on the door, and he came to the door to open it.

Naina was shocked to see her husband standing at the door in a soaked shirt.

"What are you doing here?"

"I don't want you to not be able to sleep tonight because you miss me" Aaric replied as he shivered in the cold.
