Womb of Titipan

Womb of Titipan
No Need to Tonight

Along the way home Aaric seemed more silent and pensive, Ustadz Zakaria's advice about marriage was so intense in his heart.

"What are you thinking? Can't wait for the first night?" Ryan who drives again teases his best friend.

Dani who was sitting in the back seat looked a small smile.

Aaric just shook his head slowly, he seemed to ignore the words of Ryan who continued to tease him, he continued his daydream.

"What's wrong? Ryan's right, what are you thinking? after we saw you kept quiet, don't tell me you're sorry you married that girl." Dani asked seriously.

"Not that." answered Aaric quietly.

"Then?" ask Dani curious.

Aaric turned around, looking at Dani who was sitting behind him.

"My marriage to Naina is only temporary." Aaric seems very serious.

"Yes. We know that" Dani replied.

"But what Ustadz Zakaria said earlier about marriage is something sacred and once in a lifetime so bothers me."

Dani frowned, then thought the meaning of the words of her best friend.

"So you're not going to make Naina your temporary wife? Will she be your wife forever?" Dani.

Aaric exhaled.

"Of course it's not that, I just feel like I've played with a sacred bond."

"It's great that if you finally think about getting there because you did, you consider marriage to be just a meaningless bond, just a bond to legalize your desire to impregnate a woman, making her conceive your child after that you will take the child she has painstakingly conceived and throw it away, separating her from her child" Dani said at length.

Aaric seemed shocked to hear Dani's words, but he could not say anything because that was the reality.

"I'm sorry I said this, but what you did was wrong" Dani continued.

Aaric remained silent.

Ryan who had just listened, nodded his head several times to agree with Dani's words.

"You know if I'm forced to do it, it's all because of Grandma."

"Your intentions are already good, to make your grandmother happy, but it would be better if you also do something to make her happy not in the wrong way like this."

"Then I have to how, I've already married that woman."

"It's okay, continue your marriage but change your intention to marry her temporarily, build a proper household, and learn to love her" Dani said.

"What?" Aaric was shocked.

"I couldn't have loved him so easily, I didn't even know him well."

"You can start now."

Aaric shook his head.

"You know it won't be that easy" replied Aaric pessimistically.

"You sure? I don't know why if I had the feeling that you'd eventually fall in love with her." Ryan began to express his opinion.

Aaric saw Ryan.

"What makes you think that?" asked Aaric sarcastically.

"Your wife is very beautiful, and I'm sure she's also kind, also judging by the look in your eyes when I saw her earlier, I feel that you're actually a little bit interested in her." Ryan replied with a slight smile.

Aaric's reddened face held in shame as it turned out that Ryan knew that he often stared at Naina silently.

Indeed he did that only because he felt pangling because he thought Naina from day to day always looked more beautiful in his eyes, and Aaric sure if that does not mean he already likes the woman.

Without feeling they had reached Aaric's house, the three of them went down and entered the house, greeted by Winda who had also just arrived together with Naina.

Ryan and Dani just stopped by for a while and decided to go home, after dropping off his two best friends at the front of the house, Aaric entered his study and spent the afternoon checking on his work, although most of the time he reflected on all of Dani's words to him in the car.

"Are you busy?" asked Winda while putting the tray on her son's desk.

"Yes, tomorrow I have a meeting with some clients" Aaric replied with his eyes constantly focused on looking at the papers in front of him.

Sitting in a chair.

"Mother has moved Naina's clothes to your room" said Winda carefully.

Aaric just nodded small.

"Son, you know now I feel a little relieved,"

"Why?" ask Aaric flat.

"We lied to Grandma about two things, Naina was your wife and she was carrying your child, but now we're just lying about one thing because now Naina is actually your wife." Winda spoke with a smile.

Aaric just nodded.

"Our sins to Grandma are a little less and that makes me happy" said Winda.

Aaric seemed unresponsive, he kept pretending to be busy working.

"Hopefully Naina gets pregnant fast so we don't lie to Grandma anymore." Winda looked at his son's face.

Aaric again just nodded small.

"Well, if you're busy, you go first." Vinda got up from her seat and left her son's office.

After the death of his mother, Aaric immediately leaned his body on a chair, seemed to take a deep breath and exhaled slowly.

***

Night Days.

Naina saw the reflection of her own face on the large glass in front of the sink inside the bathroom.

His hands seemed to be trembling, as well as his heart that was beating very fast.

From this afternoon he was already in this room because of the orders of Vinda, and during that time also until tonight the owner of the room has not also entered the room because he was busy working in his study.

The clock has shown at eight o'clock and Naina is convinced that Aaric, now her husband, will soon enter the room, considering that it makes her heart unsettled, thumping fast and irregular considering that this night is the time when she must start serving her obligations to fulfill her agreement with Ms. Winda to give birth to a child of the family's successor.

Tonight she had to give herself to the man who had rented her womb to get her seed.

Remembering that many times made Naina look more scared and groggy.

Naina was surprised to hear someone knocking on the bathroom door, she slowly walked up to the door and opened it slowly.

Naina directly lowered her head seeing Aaric already standing in front of her.

"You've been in here for almost an hour, I'm waiting for you to come out because I also want to use the bathroom as well." Aaric said casually.

Naina immediately looked startled, she quickly exited the bathroom.

"Sorry, I don't know if you're waiting."

"It's okay." replied Aaric as he entered the bathroom and closed the door.

Naina held onto her chest and stroked it slowly, she then walked up to the bed and sat on top of it with her heart pounding more and more.

Naina then noticed the bed he was sitting on, looked very large with clean white sheets and his mind was staring everywhere, making his hair stand up.

Before long the bathroom door opened, Naina squeezed her hands together hearing the sound of Aaric's footsteps walking back and forth behind her.

Aaric looked at Naina sitting on the bed, it was obvious that she was very scared and nervous, making Aaric make a smile.

Aaric who was wearing clothes, his favorite white T-shirt and shorts and then sat on the bed opposite Naina.

"Sleep, we don't have to do it tonight" Aaric said softly, leaving Naina shocked, but not daring to say anything, Naina just continued to sit in silence as well as Aaric who was sitting opposite her also looked speechless after saying that.

Both are busy with their own thoughts.
