A Promise..

Three Days Passed.

The condition of the grandmother still seemed weak lying on the bed, although the condition of her heart was stable, but the old body of the grandmother made her have to be hospitalized for longer to recover.

Aaric in the middle of his busy life still took the time to visit his grandmother every day at the Hospital, like this time, like this time, Aaric returned to visit his grandmother during the lunch break alternating with his mother who had to go home first.

Aaric smiled to see his grandmother delirious, besides that he was also made to wonder what his grandmother was dreaming to make her look happy and smile in her sleep.

Shortly after, Grandma suddenly woke up, she opened her eyes slowly and looked surprised when she saw her grandson's face sitting next to her.

"Mother." Aaric held his grandmother's hand.

"Son, you've been here a long time? why not wake up grandma?" ask grandma.

Aaric shook his head.

"No grandma. I just arrived. There's no way I'm gonna wake grandma, 'cause I just saw grandma sleepin' really good."

Grandma smiled, she then shuffled from her sleep, looking like she wanted to get up to sit up while leaning back, deftly Aaric helped her.

"Grandmother slept well, even grandmother delirious. Grandma fell asleep while smiling constantly."

Grandma looked surprised, but then she smiled.

"That's because grandma dreams beautifully."

"Oh yeah, what dream?"

"Grandma dreams you're married and have children and grandma is playing with your son, grandma is happy." Grandma seemed very happy to tell her dream.

Aaric smiled bitterly, his grandmother's story seemed to be a satire for him.

"Unfortunately it's just a dream, son." Suddenly, Grandma's face turned sad.

"Looks like grandma's going to leave without seeing your son first."

Aaric was shocked to hear Grandma's words.

"Miss. What did grandma say?" aaric asked as he brought himself closer to Grandma.

"I will definitely soon realize my grandmother's dream" said Aaric again.

"really?" ask grandma not to believe it.

Aaric nodded.

"Yes, quickly."

Grandma smiled happily.

"Grandmother was very happy to hear it. You're not lying, are you?"

Aaric shook his head quickly.

"No, Grandma, Aaric promised that he would soon give a great-grandmother a great-grandmother."

Aaric stood in front of the sink, looking at the reflection of his own disheveled and irritated face, he loosened the tie and folded his sleeves, then washed his face hoping that it would slightly remove the sense of immortality in his heart.

Aaric dried his face with a towel that was not far there, again he saw his face which now looked a little fresh.

Some days Aaric is confused as a result of his own words to the grandmother who said that he would soon get married and give her a great-grandchild, as a result of his words that is also now every day he is terrorized questions by his mother and grandmother who asked when will bring his future wife to be introduced, he said, apparently they thought if he had a wife and was ready to get married.

Though the reality is not like that, even until now he is not close to any woman, so how will he marry while for the future wife only he has not found it.

Aaric thinks that maybe he should follow the advice of his best friend Ryan that he just has to choose one of the few women who have been waiting in line to get his love, it is indeed one of the easiest ways, one of the easiest ways, whoever the woman he chooses will be happy to be willing when invited to marry, but somehow, Aaric does not want to do it because at all he is not interested in any of them, as for getting married, Aaric wanted her to marry the woman he liked.
