"Sir, I'm sorry are you going to be late?" asked Rety, Aaric's secretary with some hesitation.
Aaric who was focused on looking at the computer immediately looked at his watch and realized that the time had shown at half 6 pm, it was more than the hour of returning from work.
"Yes, I will be overtime tonight, you guys just go home," replied Aaric looking at his secretary and personal assistant.
Rety and Julian looked at each other.
"Sorry sir, if indeed you will be overtime, we will accompany you" said Julian.
"Yes sir, please tell us what you're doing so we can help you" Rety said.
Aaric shook his head. "I'm not working on anything, just checking some files, you go home because I can do it myself."
Rety and Julian looked at each other again.
"Well, sir, we'll excuse you." Julian and Rety leave their boss' room.
Aaric looked back at his computer screen, but before long, he who looked tired leaned his body on the chair while loosening the tie he was wearing.
Aaric seemed to be thinking about something, one of his hands was massaging his forehead slowly.
"Tomorrow the day after I'm getting married" Aaric murmured softly.
Apparently his marriage to Naina which will be held tomorrow is very burdensome to his mind, apparently Aaric is not as cute as what he showed to his two friends, he said, Ryan and Dani are also on his mother because Aaric actually feels a little groggy facing his marriage to Naina.
Aaric really did not expect that if it would end up like this, he had to be forced to marry a woman he just knew, something he never thought was married suddenly and in the near future. Although this is just a serial marriage and only temporary, it still makes her nervous and afraid.
The main reason is that he must immediately make his wife later pregnant and pregnant with his child, as chased deadline, Aaric must work hard to do something that even he has never done at all, and unfortunately he had to do that with the woman he did not love, they would both do it by force for the presence of a baby among them.
Thinking that Aaric was massaging his forehead even more vigorously.
"Damn. How could I do that with that woman." Aaric stood up from his seat, walking back and forth beside the table.
"But for grandma's sake I should be able to do anything, I should grant her wish to quickly pet my son."
"Including having to sleep with a woman I don't love." murmured Aaric.
Suddenly it comes to her mind about Dance, the ex-lover she's been trying to forget.
"If you hadn't betrayed me, then maybe now I'm not in this situation, you and I would have been married and had children, happy for my grandmother and mother"

Next day.
Aaric was still asleep despite the time it showed at half-nine in the morning, something he did very rarely even on a Saturday like this.
It made Winda surprised because after waiting for his son was not coming down for breakfast together.
Winda finally came to his son's room, he was surprised to find Aaric who still seemed to sleep.
"Son. Are you sick?" ask Winda while sitting next to her son.
Aaric seemed to be wriggling his body, opening his eyes and rubbing them slowly.
"Why are you still sleeping? Are you sick?" Winda repeated the question while fumbling his son's forehead to make sure if his son was okay.
"What time is this?" Aaric closed his eyes again.
"You're fine, wake up because it's half-nine. Take a shower and I'll have breakfast for you."
"I still want to sleep, ma'am" answered Aaric still with a closed mouth.
The mother breathed.
"Nothing I want to talk about."
"What about?"
"Your wedding is tomorrow with Naina"
Aaric opened his eyes and saw his mother.
"What's wrong?" ask Aaric.
Aaric nodded
"Are you ready?" ask Winda.
"Yes Mom, I'm ready."
"Thank God, I'm glad to hear that."
Aaric closed his eyes again.
"Well, I know if you must be tired, use this day to rest. I'll bring your food here."
Aaric nodded.
The girl left her son's room.
---
Naina was peeling oranges with grandma in the backyard.
The condition of the grandmother has improved, the presence of Naina is very influential on the health of Grandma who is now eager to be healthy and recover as before.
Grandma is now able to go outside the room even though she still uses a wheelchair, but it is a big advancement because now Grandma is not just lying on the bed.
"Where's your husband? Is he not awake yet?" grandma's question made Naina shocked.
"Yes Mom. Aaric's still sleeping, maybe he's a little tired after working for a week." Fortunately, there was Winda who had just come and answered grandmother's question to Naina.
Grandma smile.
"After marriage, he became a slacker. You know, son, usually even if he's off, your husband's gonna get up early and get some exercise, he's gonna spend some time in the gym." Grandma pointed at a room across the pool in front of them.
Naina smiled a little.
"Maybe it's a baby," said the grandmother again with a chuckle.
Naina immediately saw Winda.
"Grandmother is right." Linda also pretended to laugh.
Naina's speechless.
"Son. The doctor said how's your pregnancy?" ask Grandma to see Naina.
Naina looked shocked again.
"The doctor said everything is fine ma'am, just to be taken care of because the pregnancy is still very small, still prone to miscarriage." Again the mind answered.
Grandma nodded in understanding.
"Therefore you have to rest a lot of children, do not move much let alone stress" said Grandma advising.
Naina nodded. His heart felt a great sense of guilt.
"Yes, what mom remembers first, before I was pregnant with Aaric, I also had a miscarriage, "Winda reminds grandma of the past.
Grandma nodded her head.
"Yes, of course the mother still remembers that, at that time we were all sad because we were all very much waiting for the birth of the baby," answered the grandmother laughed.
"Yes, but luckily not long after that I was pregnant again, and Aaric was born." Sally smiled remembering that time.
"Yes. Aaric brought happiness to this house, especially to his grandfather and father, both of whom held great hopes for Aaric to be the heir and successor of our family and company."
"Just like now, we have big hopes for your children." Grandma held Naina's hand.
Naina shed her tears. Makes grandma surprised.
"Why are you crying?"
"I'm.." Naina felt unable to hear the words of Grandma who so harbored great hope in her pregnancy which was just a lie, wanted to feel Naina told the truth what really happened.
"My grandmother.."
