Womb of Titipan

Womb of Titipan
Grandmom.

A Few Weeks Later

Aaric walked down the hallway of the Hospital in a hurry, from his face it was clear that he was very anxious and panicked. He accelerated further as his grandmother's face continued to be reflected on his face, behind which appeared several people who followed, two assistants and people of his faith.

Aaric had arrived at a VVIP room, he quickly opened the door and barged into it.

His arrival was greeted by the embrace of the mother with her face moist signifying she had cried a lot.

"How's grandma doing?" aaric asked in his mother's arms, his eyes staring at the grandmother lying limp on the patient's bed.

"His heart disease has recurred, but the doctor has handled it well, the situation has stabilized," replied Winda withstanding his tears.

Aaric let go of his mother's embrace, he looked at the mother's face that looked very sad.

"Grandmother will be fine, mother calm down, I've called the best doctor to treat grandmother," said Aaric calm the mother.

Winda nodded slowly.

Aaric approached her grandmother's bed slowly, staring at the face of the grandmother who was like she was falling asleep with a breathing apparatus covering her mouth and nose, he then saw the old hand of the grandmother who had wrinkles inedible age, in addition to being fitted with infusion, the hand was also fitted with various medical devices to continue to monitor his condition.

Aaric slowly held the grandmother's hand.

"Miss. Hang on, I know grandma must be strong," Aaric said, holding back his tears.

This is the umpteenth time he saw the grandmother lying weak in the Hospital bed because of heart disease she suffered, although it looks tough but actually her feelings are not that strong, so she said, his heart was broken to see the old grandmother's body again sprawled weakly helpless.

Behind his cold attitude, Aaric actually loved his grandmother very much, because only his grandmother and mother were now the only family he had, he said, it's just that he's not very good at expressing his feelings and sometimes Aaric regretted it all.

Winda approached his son, the two of them then looked at the grandmother's face with nanar.

Suddenly, Linda remembered something.

"Son, come here, there's something I want to talk about." Winda held his son's hand, pulling to follow him towards the sofa not far from there.

Aaric followed his mother, he sat next to her.

"Son, you know Grandma's biggest wish?"

Aaric took a deep breath.

"I know Mom. Grandma wanted me to get married and give her a great-granddaughter before she took her last breath" Aaric said regretfully.

Winda nodded his head slowly with eyes that looked at his son seriously.

"Then can you grant her wish?"

Aaric looked at his mother's face.

"I mean mother?"

"Give your grandmother a great-granddaughter," replied Vinda quickly.

"Now?"

"Yes, in the near future, because we do not know until when your grandmother can survive given her age is very old coupled with her heart disease that has been getting worse, he said, the doctor said it was a miracle if your grandmother could last another year."

"What?" Aaric looked shocked.

Winda nodded.

"That's right, therefore you should immediately grant her last wish, letting grandma go quietly."

Aaric smiled.

"Don't you tell me you want me to get married soon?" ask Aaric.

Winda nodded.

"Then mother has one way that you can give your great-grandmother as soon as possible without you having to marry."

Aaric frowned.

"What does mother mean?"

"Listen, grandma just wants to see your child born, the child who will be the successor to the Widjaja family, the child who will be the heir to the company after you later."

Aaric still did not understand.

"So I have an idea how if you just leave your seeds to a woman, then you will have children without having to get married in the near future, then your grandmother's last wish will be fulfilled."

Aaric immediately shook his head.

"Look, do you know if through an artificial insemination program a woman can get pregnant without having-" Willa seemed hesitant to explain.

"I know what mother-made insemination is" Aaric said suddenly.

Winda looked happy.

"Well, thank God that you know, then you will--"

"I don't want to." Aaric cut off his mother's words.

"What?" Winda looked shocked.

"As I heard, I don't want to."Aaric moved from his seat.

"But boy-" Willa stood up, holding his son's hand.

"It's the only way we can make Grandma happy for the last time." Winda looked at Aaric with a hearty look.

Aaric fell silent, looking into the mother's eyes fixedly.

"But this is not how you do it."

"Do you have any other way? then tell mom what should we do now?" ask Winda.

Aaric silently lowered his head.

"What if the doctor's estimate is correct, your grandmother can only last another year, won't it be before her departure that we have to grant her request?" Winda.

Aaric approached his mother.

"Mothers. Please don't cry." Aaric hugged his mother.

"Mom knows that mother's idea sounds ridiculous, but I did it because I just wanted to make your grandmother happy for the last time."

"I understand how the mother feels, but as I said, the idea of the mother doesn't make sense, how can we make a baby born without a marriage, plus the baby's gonna be our family's successor, think about what people are gonna say."

"Don't think what people will say, just think of your grandmother, because only your grandmother is now the most important son." Winda grew sobbing in his cries.

"Mother, please don't cry" said Aaric slowly.

"Mom's just desperate, son, I'm afraid your grandma's gone without us granting her wish."

Aaric fell silent, he glanced at his grandmother who was still lying weak.

"If your grandmother leaves without her wish being fulfilled, I'll feel so guilty for the rest of my life." Winda continued to cry.
