When Love Should Choose

When Love Should Choose
Ardian and Nia Go Home

Chapter 10

"When do we go home, Ardi?” ask Nia at last.

“You want to go home?” asked Ardi, looking at the girl beside him.

Nia nodded. “About your dad and mom are home yet at this hour. They've come home from Brastagi?” ask Nia.

“Nevent mind them,” replied Ardian flat.

Nia. He noticed that Ardian's face turned displeased when he mentioned them.

“Om Vishnu and Aunt Siska..,” Nia still want to continue.

“Common, don't mention their names when we're having fun like this, Nia!” Ardi warned.

Nia stunned. The young man turned rude again like the first time they met at home last night. There must be something that makes him dissatisfied to not be happy when his mother called.

Even if he hated his stepmom, at least Om Vishnu, his biological father he would not. This, Om Vishnu is included?

“I want to go home,” says Nia short.

Ardian suddenly got up from his seat and threw the plastic containing the rest of his drink into the trash can. The throw was quite rough, passing in front of the girl's face.

Nia frowned, feeling that Ardian's actions were a bit disrespectful, but yes, the trivial thing did not want to be questioned. They may fuss later if they see from the Ardian gelagat who began to be unhappy again.

“Come,” says the young man is short.

Nia got up from her seat, following Ardian's footsteps walking towards her big bike. He was released and he climbed on the bike, followed by Nia who was sitting in the splint.

Ardian turned on his motor engine and ran it slowly cleaving a large road that left his right looked shady by the trees. The road there is more residential villas, does not appear office buildings or other buildings other than housing.

Ardian motor is traveling at medium speed. This time, the bike was only one goal, immediately went home, without the intention of roaring various places like that.

Nia sat on Ardian's sidewalk without saying a word. As their motorbike passed through various streets filled with tall buildings, Nia only gave a glance without enthusiasm, not intending to look at the place deeper, let alone to admire and judge it. Happiness is in his heart, not outside.

About three-quarters of an hour later they arrived home. This time, Nia did not say hello or thank you when the gate was opened Wak Amat. His fatigue and disappointment over the rudeness of Ardian's attitude made him seem to forget or lose his memory. Empty, that's what he had in mind as the motor drove into the gate and stopped in the garage.

Nia got off the Ardian motorbike, removing the helmet covering her head. He handed the helmet to Ardian and then hurriedly walked to the entrance without intending to wait for Ardian who was still busy parking the bike, removing the helmet, and opening the jacket. Glanced at Nia's body which quickly moved away from him and disappeared behind the entrance.

Ardian caught up with the girl when she finished her bike. He walked into the main door and his eyes looked for where did Nia go when she came home? Apparently, the girl went straight into her room, looking for a change of clothes and getting ready to take a shower.

Apparently, his face was not happy just now, when smiling even as if forced.

Ardian just realized Nia's face was tired and pale, like feeling depressed and forced to accompany him raun-raun. Though Ardian well-meaning want to introduce the places in Medan to the girl, make her entertained. Who would have thought, the girl was not interested and preferred to be at home.

Ardian closed his eyes, his mind filled with all sorts of thoughts about Nia. His feelings are mixed. Slowly, due to fatigue from carrying a large motorbike for hours, Ardian fell asleep.

Nia came out of the room after the shower and sat down. He passed through Ardian's room which sounded silent without a sound. Ardian is not inside. Perhaps the young man had gone again out of nowhere, thought Nia. Doesn't he really like to go for a walk and enjoy every second of his trip? Contrary to Nia herself who does not like to do that again.

Make him tired and thirsty.

Nia's stomach is hungry. It was almost 7 p.m. as he got down the stairs leading to the kitchen. Bik Aini who was not seen when she came home with Ardian, now looks to be in the kitchen cooking dinner.

“Bik,” greet Nia, approaching Bik Aini who is stirring cooking in the cauldron and pan.

“Wah, Non already home from the streets with Nak Ardian?” bik Aini Reaction

“Assyik not Non streets?” ask Bik Aini while smiling widely.

Nia shakes. “Not fun, Bik! Not fun at all!”

Oops! Quickly he turned his head left and right, afraid that the answer might be heard by the fierce man who had been piggybacking on him. I could get scolded again like that, he thought.

“Ah, time?’ ask Bik Aini.

Nia smiling. “Already, not important told that, Bik,” said Nia. “What's cooking baby? Why Om Vishnu and Aunt Siska have not returned from last night to Berastaginya?” wonder Nia.

“Oh, Mr and Mrs will be home soon. They're eating at home tonight. Madam had called to get ready, soon to arrive,” said Bibik. “Okay, it's almost too late. Non bantuin Bibik ya serve these dishes to the table,” said Bik Aini as just remembered and hurriedly scooped his dishes on the cauldron to the top of the plate and bowl.

“Ready, Bik! Where to bring?” tanyanya passion. If asked to help parents, Nia was most happy, because at home she was light-handed and always happy to help her mother in the kitchen. Even all the homework he did was clean and neat until his mother was happy to have a daughter who was diligent, light-handed, smart, and kind.

Nia brought dishes and bowls of Bik Aini cuisine, serving them on a large rectangular dining table.

While he was busy arranging the plates and bowls on the table, Om Vishnu and Aunt Siska walked into the door of the house. The sound of their arrival broke the silence in the living room. Nia who noticed their presence, hurriedly finished her work, came out of the dining room, walked to meet Om Vishnu and Aunt Siska.

He saw, Om Vishnu and Aunt Siska had sat on the living room sofa, resting the body for a moment from the fatigue of a long trip for 2 hours more than Berastagi.
