Chapter 22 3 Life Past Life

Inside an old building made of wood. The building was located in the middle of a meadow that split through a forest filled with large trees. The building was only ten times eight meters in size.

It seems like this building was once used for residence. Because in it there are mattresses and other household supplies. In the middle of the room was a dining table with four chairs surrounding it.

On the side of the room was an old sofa. The window next to the front door still has a curtain even though it is full of holes. Okino sat down and leaned against the front door of the house to stand guard.

Erick sat down on the sofa that was at the side of the room to rest. Ema and Vio were sitting on the wooden floor right in front of Okino who was sitting and hugging his gun.

"With this .. we just have to do it again ...," Okino said.

It was quiet and no one said anything. Vio lowered his head and made Okino anxious.

"Why Vio?" Ask Okino.

"My smoke is exhausted" he replied with a heavy heart.

"Hmm .. if so .. we wait for night to come" said Okino while thinking hard.

"It's how we rest here ... huff ...," said Erick, sighing and laying himself on the long, worn sofa.

"Because we don't have any more food to eat .. We'd better get some sleep," Okino leaned his head back against the door and closed his eyes.

"Ema ... let me go to the bed ...," said Vio who had stood up while extending his hand.

Ema is a girl who lost her eyesight at the age of five due to an accident. Even so, Ema has special talents and can fight using only her hearing and smell.

"No need .. I want next to Okino-sama ..," Ema rejected Vio's offer and shifted to the side of Okino.

"Hmm ... you guys are very romantic anyway ...," said Vio as he stepped into the mattress in the corner of the room.

"Do I want to put it in bed?" Erick is looking for a chance to sleep in bed with Vio.

"Basic bawdy!" Vio immediately laid himself on the bed and closed his eyes.

"Ema ... sana sleeps next to Vio" Okino said as he clasped Ema's right hand.

The two of them sat on the floor and leaned against the front door of the old, worn house. Okino placed his rifle on his right side. Ema, who was sitting to the left of Okino, looked exhausted. Her hair looks messy.

The blank look that came out of his blue eyeballs was what made Okino feel calmer. Ema is like the water of the sea that extinguishes the fire in Okino's heart. The love that grows in Okino's heart just waits for time to come out of his mouth.

"Okino-sama .. I will always be by your side" said Ema with her flat face.

"Hmm .. yes already ..," Okino kept holding Ema's left hand as if he did not want her to leave.

The four of them fell asleep in the old house. The sun that was at the top of the sky was slowly descending from his throne. Darkness is taking over today. Akame's heart started to shine brightly. They then passed by in front of the old house in the middle of the meadow as if waiting for Okino and his group to come out.

"Okino-sama .. It looks like it's already night," said Ema slowly waking Okino up.

"Hm ... Ema ... Don't wake the others first," Okino said slowly opening her eyes.

"Why?" Ask Ema with her eyes always straight ahead.

"What's wrong .. wait a minute longer aja .. they must still be tired," Okino got up and peeked out the window that was beside the exit.

"Okino-sama? ... What do you see?" Ask Ema.

"Hmm ... Especially besides Akame right?" Okino returned to his original position.

"Cino-sama ..."

"Ano .. Can you not call Okino?" Okino said with a slight smile.

"Can't," Ema kept putting on her flat face.

"Huff .. hand it to you," Okino again leaned his head against the door.

The sound of Ema's stomach ringing from hunger.

"Ema?" Okino immediately turned her head towards Ema who was just sitting like a doll beside her.

Okino immediately reached into his pants pocket and picked up a packet of chocolate bars. That was Okino's last food supply. The drinking water bottle was empty.

"Ema .. This is eating," Okino placed a packet of chocolate bars on Ema's palm.

"Is Okino-sama not laper?" ask Ema while opening the chocolate pack.

"Hmm ... We'll be at the castle soon, right?" Okino unconsciously let out her tears.

"Enak"

The words Okino heard from Ema's mouth made her heart ache even more. Okino believes he will soon lose Ema soon.
