"Eh? Am I dead?"

I woke up and looked in all directions trying to recognize this place. A special crowd during the day. The noise of many people's conversations. Laughter, yelling, joking, all of that is mixed up in this room. Whiteboard in front, the door of the room wide open.

The chairs are lined up neatly. Some long wooden tables are equipped with two chairs behind each table. Wall clock showing at half-three in the afternoon. The blue sky that will soon turn orange. I could see the horizon just by looking out the window right to my left.

Unlike Okiyama Mountain, Nayama is a huge mountain range. It is located in the southern part of Hatsu. Mount Nayama is also in my present life, the area is filled with lush green trees. The roads are uphill and winding, and the cool air is typical of mountains.

We both walked side by side on the road to our house. The typical summer atmosphere, the rising champion of insects. The blue sky began to turn itself orange.

"Did you remember something?" I muttered in the middle of our steps. Instantly Ai stopped her steps and scrawled her little notebook.

'What do you mean?' He showed me the results of that streak.

"Ohh, what's wrong." I shook my head. Ai went back to writing to a new page of her little notebook.

'I'm going home first, right?' After showing the writing he immediately ran away to leave me.

"Eh? Why'd he run?" I cringe in wonder.

"Kaita-bol!! Why is it still here??!" Mina ran over and hit my back on purpose.

"Oi? Sick tau," I said cuek. And I just remembered, in this life of mine. Mina's house is right next to mine. Also, I remember him, he had feelings for me.

"You want to go home?" Take it with that cheerful smile.

"Hmm" I walked back without caring about my best friend.

Along the way Mina raved nonstop. He asked me what I would bring tomorrow. Until he asked about Hanabi. Of course I didn't take it seriously.

"Oh yeah, where is Ai? Didn't you guys walk together?" The question was making my heart beat fast. And I stopped my footsteps because I felt something was wrong.

"Kai? What's up?" Tanya Mina was confused.

I looked in all directions and realized I was standing in the middle of the crossroads. And if I turn right, it means I can go to Ai's house.

"Mina, you go home first, I want to go to Ai's house." I patted my best friend's shoulder and left.

Something's wrong, why am I back here?! And why do I feel bad?!

Am I really dead?!
